6oz Classic Sirloin* - 6oz, mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, Side Caesar Salad
    Nigel S.

I was visiting a new city and got hungry late at night. Most other places were closed, but Chili's was still open. I ordered online within 5 minutes, drove to the spot in about 10, and received my food within 5 minutes. The food was hot and fresh. I got a 6oz sirloin, Mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, and a house salad. The steak could've used more seasoning and the fat cap could have been trimmed. The mashed potatoes were creamy and loaded with cheese, chives, and bacon bits. The mac and cheese was creamy, but lacking in flavor. My guest ordered a smash burger, fries, and Caesar salad. Her burger was overcooked, so it was hard and she could only finish half. The fries were perfect and she loved the salad. I'd order again, but would try different food options the next time around.

I I was having trouble with my app. I called on my way to pick up food for curbside. It was pouring down rain so I went on. Julio, who I assume was the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly and patient with my needs. He was polite and treated me with respect.

Love the one in Tulare. But this one for some reason the workers think they make the menus and can pick and choose what they sell. And be straight up telling fibs. One of the workers proceeded to tell me they didn't sell something on the menu. I asked the manager he said yeah we sell it we are just out atm. Could have been easily said. We just got our food to go. Our waiter didn't even come back to wait us.

Classic Ribeye (asparagus/broccoli) Ultimate Smokehouse Combo (ribs/brisket quesadilla/chicken crispers/roasted street corn)

Food was pretty good . Can't complain . What was different here than other chilis was that they had brisket quesadilla and that was actually really good and Mexican street corn , that I'd go back for those two . Other chilis I've had regular corn from was not it . My steak was good as well but nothing special about it . Didn't have a bad experience so I'd go back .

The only issue was that my breakfast potatoes were a little cold, but everything else was absolutely delicious. We ordered the flapjacks and the prime rib breakfast sandwich, and both were amazing. The flavors were excellent, the portions were generous, and the food was very satisfying. Despite the potatoes being cold, I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place for breakfast. We really enjoyed our first visit!

They even have an ice cream shop, which is a nice bonus. The place is definitely showing its age, though. It looks pretty run down and about half the games and machines seem to be out of order. It's got a little less "Wild West attraction" and a little more "Wild West went out of business." The beer selection? Let's just say you won't get overwhelmed by choices. Then came the BBQ... somebody needs to check on that tri-tip because that thing was THIRSTY. Dry as hell and not much going on flavor-wise. Bring water for yourself AND the tri-tip. And the coleslaw... WHERE WAS IT?! I opened the container expecting coleslaw and got what looked like a tiny cabbage salad that had lost its will to live. No creaminess, barely any flavor, just a few vegetables having a meeting. The crispy fries actually showed up ready to work. Probably the MVP of the meal. Overall, it's a cool tourist stop with a lot to see, an ice cream shop, and a fun Wild West vibe. Stay for the fries and ice cream--just don't expect all the games to work or the tri-tip to have any moisture left in it.

We ordered three different types of fries for the table but the garlic Parmesan was the main hit. I got the Santa Fe Cobb salad with the Tri Tip, thinking it would be more fire grilled meat. They basically topped the salad with cold Tri-Tip chunks which don't have a lot of flavor and looks uncooked (but not raw). I only ate a portion of the Santa Fe Cobb salad with the Tri-Tip. If I ever come in again, it's best to build your own 5 ingredient salad, which they allow you to do- so you can choose. We got the mac and cheese and wings which were good. Two people in our party ordered the Tri Tip sandwich with Cole slaw, and that appeared to be the better choice here. They have icecream which seemed to be popular for a lot of people stopping in. Still nice to be able to support a local business versus eating at a chain. Easy to get back onto the highway and journey on.

I've passed by it plenty of times, but have never thought to drop in during lunch. Finally came here to celebrate my boss's birthday. The parking lot was packed & very limited considering the lunch rush, but after waiting around a bit, a space freed up. The line was out the door! It felt like a bit of a wait to get through it, but they were doing their best. Once we finally made it inside, I loved the whole vibe. They had license plates on the ceiling, framed photos on the walls, and signs/paintings with little nods to Bakersfield. When it came to their food, I had no idea what I was in for, but was told by a friend that their salad lites were pretty good. And wow--there was nothing "lite" about this salad. They gave you a huge portion size. I could only eat half of what I was served. Granted the price reflects coming in at a little over $20. But it was still a solid meal. Didn't get the chance to take a photo of it, because I was so hungry after waiting that I stuffed my face. But I think I will return!

Even now, whenever I have a reason to pass through town, I make it a point to stop by. In a world where so many local restaurants have come and gone, it's great to see a place with so much history continue to thrive. Everyone got water and one also got a diet soda. We also got complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and the salsa was your average salsa. I decided to get 2 item combination plate. I got the tamale and the ground beef enchilada. The plate comes with Spanish rice and refried beans. The portion would fill up someone who was hungry. Some of the people at the table had taken some leftovers home. The Spanish rice had flavor. The refried beans was average. Tamale was a litte dry so decided to put some salsa or the enchilada sauce on it. The enchilada was good. If you want a filling meal for a reasonable price, then this restaurant is a good option.
