Have stopped in a couple times and have enjoyed my meal both times. Most recently, Our waiter (we sat at a high top in the bar) got our entire order right without writing it down. That's always impressive when you have more than 2 people and we ordered our drinks, appetizers, and meal (with alterations) all at the same time. The drinks and appetizers came out quickly and the food soon after. I got the buffalo chicken salad for my main and my husband the appetizer sampler. The breading on my chicken for my salad was a little too thick in a couple places so it didn't cook all the way through (just the breading didn't cook all the way through, the chicken was cooked perfectly) and I had to take it off. The salad was otherwise good and would def order it again. My husband got the appetizer sampler. The sliders were a little sad, but the southwest egg rolls and chicken strips were delicious. We should have known from the beginning when we asked for a table for 4 and were sat at a dirty high top table at the bar despite there being empty booths throughout... There appeared to be mayonnaise drippings on half the table. When we asked if our table could be cleaned, the hostess handed one of us a rag to wipe the table ourselves. We sat for about 10 minutes and didn't know if we had to order at the bar or if someone would come to us so we got up to ask the female bartender if we could order there. She proceeded to take our drink orders when a male waiter/bartender appeared by us with his arms crossed. He didn't say a word to us as he stood with his arms crossed. When we told him we ordered our drinks with the female bartender, he said she "ran off". So, we placed our orders with him. Mind you, he just stood there with his arms crossed and just nodded to each of us as we made our orders. I would have left if I wasn't so hungry already. A bunch of random employees brought each of us our drinks and food so we were confused if we did anything to upset the waiter. He only returned to bring us our bills. This was the absolute worst service I've ever had in the past couple years & will not be coming back again. read more

Oh my, did I have high hopes for this restaurant. Unfortunately, this place really doesn't measure up to all the other Chili's restaurants that I've been. First things first, the service was not so great. The waitress that served my husband and I annoyed me because she either had a crush on him or doesn't know anything about service. Ever heard of ladies first? From the time we ordered drinks, apps, and our main course, she always asked my husband FIRST what he wanted when he wasn't even sure and I was ready. It really didn't start getting to me until I noticed that when we delivered our drinks and food that she would serve him first, weird, don't you think? Second, the only thing that was delicious was the appetizer. The loaded White Queso Skillet was truly amazing but the food, my goodness it was substandard. My favorite thing to order is the Cajun Pasta with Chicken and Shrimp, when I got my order, the temperature of the food was warm, nearly cold... It was not appetizing. I ate about two bites and asked for a togo box. My husband got the Chicken Tacos and hmm, you can't fool us, his food was not even warm, it was just cold! It felt like they didn't even warm the tortillas. He hated his entrée and really only ended up eating the corn because it was the only thing he could down on his entire platter. He was so upset he just wanted to leave. In all honesty, we both feel that the Chili's Too in the BX offers better food. Yes the menu is smaller, but at least the food quality is delicious. We decided that the next time we come, we were going to order exactly what we order at the Chili's Too to really compare the quality, if the food comes out just as bad as this experience, we probably won't be coming back here again and will continue to eat at the smaller Chili's. Food is about quality, not quantity. If they can't keep up with the menu they're trying to serve, they either need to higher better cooks or trim it down to food they can manage. read more

The food is awful! It took forever to be prepared and the place wasn't even busy. The salad lettuce is like paper. The fish that had a star (favorites) was not like the picture.. I wonder how it became a favorite... it was watery, unseasoned, n overall disgusting. The asparagus that the waiter was able to substitute was cold and hard... Ask my husband what he though about his food (Cajun pasta) he said it was "Just okay." Which I agree on. I got the Guacamole burger and fries and it was not what I expected. The burger is tiny and so are the fries. Really plain flavors. The burger tasted dry and was missing something to really elevate the flavor. We also got the chips and dip and wow. I love me some sodium but the chips were way too salty. The service was good so that's good. Overall I wouldn't come here again if I wanted to satisfy my tastebuds. Ehh. read more

Personally, I love Chillies. Besides the long wait lines, it's actually super homey to me. But let me tell you- Ahah, Have I had a BAD experience here today. We ordered the Cajun Pasta (Chicken) without any vegetables, and this is what they gave us. Everything was separated. The chicken used looked and tasted like they threw a chicken breast from the freezer into a pan, chopped it up, then threw everything in the box. It has NONE of the spices or the original beautifully grilled chicken I am used to whenever ordering this meal, and man, was it disgusting. Now I don't know if it was there fault, or a specific worker, but honestly? Its almost enough to make me call the restaurant directly. I ordered a Pasta, and they gave me THE INGREDIENTS to make the pasta MYSELF. Just, Agh! 20 Dollars wasted! Other than that? I truly do love the place. They even let us order chips and Caso to go! Granted, we were a largish group in a separate room - but the service was completely horrid. We booked days ago - likely a week plus ago. The restaurant manager should be able to adequately schedule staff to adequately service each space and the kitchen and bar should be hitting on all cylinders to crank out drinks and food. Pretty much every time I come here which has averaged once a year - each time, it is a fail. I asked for a bowl of chili with a side of black beans and rice - I rcvd a small cup of thick tomato soup with about three fingernail-sized pieces of meat and ten beans. The black beans (with a small scoop or rice) was tasty, not salty. Charged for a three-item veggie plate $8.50 - I don't care as I should've been served a bowl of chili, not a cup. read more

What made this even over and beyond was the management on duty was getting down in the weeds and foxhole with his employees. Went in for a late lunch, sat at the bar and was served by Adam. Service was quick and pleasent, but what really stood out was Adams eye for food and times. Ordered the Porter steak, and after the waitress dropped the order off, Adam asked me to cut it before beginning to eat. Sure enough the steak was medium well, when I ordered it medium rare. My wife ordered the Fiesta chicken salad and the chicken came out looking pale white. No color you'd expect after it being "grilled" and it tasted weird. Told the waiter and he returned with two more breasts with light coloring and still didn't taste right. I had the salmon and it also had zero BBQ char. Neither looked at all like the menu pictured. I always have a good experience here. I always order the chips and salsa but this time around the chips were different and that was disappointing. I got one of their mexican bowls with the margarita of the month. The food was good and so was the drink. I like the full Chili's better than the Chili's Too at the KMCC. I go here once a month with my son and we usually have a very positive experience. Their prices have definitely gone up, which stinks. The menu changed recently and the burger my son used to get is gone. It was the BBQ Ranch Burger but he likes the one they replaced it with - it has BBQ sauce and onion rings on it. Don't remember the name. If he doesn't the burger, he typically will get the ribs. I usually get fajitas or original chicken crispers. We also usually get either a queso dip to begin or a cookie skillet to finish. We end up taking quite a bit of food home every time we go. It seems like they have changed their serving style so now two people work a section or something. I usually have very quick response time to low drinks getting refilled or asked often if we need anything. I love eating in all the great places off post but sometimes it is nice to have American style service of free refills and attentive servers asking if we need anything. read more

Service was good. Food was pretty good. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing, as were the southwest egg rolls. I had the bacon quesadilla with steak, it was great. I also had the Top Shelf strawberry mango margarita. It was good. Any other flavor was waaaaaay too strong for me but I also don't really like the taste of alcohol. My only issue is the wait times. We have been here multiple times and walked away because at any given time the wait is at least 20 minutes and if I'm hungry I wanna sit down and eat ASAP not in 30 minutes. read more

Like the typical chain restaurant, this location is pretty much a clone of every other Chili's I've been to in terms of service, food and atmosphere. Though there were some servers who spoke in German which was pretty cool. My group and I were seated fairly quickly despite being a group of 10. Hit or miss. If you HAVE to eat on base, might as well go here since you can get a mixed drink. It's typical for a USAF American place on base. People go here and love it, but I think it's more because they are getting something from America rather than actually enjoying the food. No complaints or issues on my dining experience here. It's your standard Chili's that just happens to be overseas on a military base. The service was good and the food was up to par. When a 4 year old turns his nose up at the mac and cheese, somethings up in the kitchen. Tried it myself and it was terrible. Obviously the cheese was a powdered mix that likely needed real butter and milk, but they just used water instead. Shameful they even charge for this, let alone offer it on the menu for kids. Like the kids won't notice, right? The rest of the food was meh, had better at other Chilis in the States. Certainly not a stellar Chili's as the place just didn't seem clean either, but they survive only because of the captive market on base, and it shows in their lack of being concerned by competition. To be fair Chili's overall doesn't rate more with me than 3 stars in the States as they aren't a fav there either, but this location drops a star just for making a lousy mac and cheese. The chili tasted like it had been reheated too often in the wrong container. The chicken fajitas were watery, not juicy and the rest of the meal seemed very processed. I've never been to a Chili's like this before. It's like half of a Chili's. And kind of funny since there is a full Chili's on the base already (which I think is the only Chili's in Europe). I think people might be right about the food not being as good here as it is at the full Chili's, but it's still decent enough. No one goes the Chili's for fine dining - just for a decent burger. If you're in the mall already I say go for it, but if you don't mind a short drive - go to the other location on base. read more

It used to be a treat to head to the Chili's on base and dine on a full menu. This place is a watered down version of the real thing. First, the food. You can hardly order anything from the menu any more. No chicken fried steak or ribs to start with. If you go here, you better like burgers. And don't think you'll be getting any jalapenos on the burger either, because they don't have those. Now, the service. It seems that with the downscale in menu came a downscale in service. Typical Chili's on base. Since I was returning home from a deployment and passing through, anything other than the DFAC seemed good at the time. The food was not bad. Had the chicken tenders and fries. The service definitely needs improvement. It seems as though our table was forgotten about. Had to keep getting up to find our waiter to bring us stuff. We didn't get silverware or napkins till the end and had to ask someone for them as well. They forgot to bring our mixed drinks, so instead of waiting another 30 minutes for it, we canceled it. Chile's is bad everywhere, so it did not surprise me to find this chile's equally bad.... the bun of my burger came cold and untoasted. When I told the server this she took it back, but it returned only slightly better on top bun, but the bottom bun had not been touched.... Cold as ever. Food is just like a chillis in the states, i think its pretty good. Service varies from really good to barely adequate. We prefer to take out. 90 percent of the time we're satisfied. One time our cheese sticks were empty and when we called and told them they pretty much said tough luck and asked if we wanted to replace them, which wouldve taken us 20 minutes to drive back to base. read more

This meal tasted NOTHING like the chicken crispers I have had at every other Chilis restaurant. These tasted like overcooked, frozen chicken tenders that you can buy at Walmart. Do not eat here if you have a weak stomach. I have had bathroom issues on more than one occasion after eating at this Chilis. I would never go back except for the fact that my visitors love this place. I do not order food there any more. The staff is also very pushy about moving customers out, unlike German restaurants where it is common to enjoy a drink after a meal, at this Chilis the staff tend to tag team to ask you if you need anything to hint that you need to leave. read more
