Really cool experience!! It is a little pricey for ice-cream, but it's not exactly your normal ice-cream or ice-cream experience! I had never heard of Nitrogen ice-cream and ended up here kind of on a whim (originally planned to go to Ben & Jerry's at Tanger 1 but they closed 40 minutes early!!) but I am glad we ended up here instead! It's a neat set up and idea. The shop itself is very clean and they have some tables and chairs inside with cute decor. The menu/display is set up like a periodic table which was a clever touch - and they have plenty of options, flavors, and toppings alike to ensure everyone will find something they like (including lactose-free, vegan, etc.) ! It is 100% in your control as it is made from scratch for each order. How it works: You start with your base (so ice-cream or yogurt, etc.) then your flavor (vanilla, chocolate, mint, coffee, peanut butter, cake batter, seasonal, etc.) then your toppings (chocolate chips, sprinkles, cookies or dough, brownies, etc.). - then you watch it get made in front of your eyes! The equipment is like a kitchen aid mixer with a fog show! You can see the tank of liquid nitrogen hooked up to the machine and it makes a giant gust of fog. Now onto the results - we got regular ice-cream base - one with vanilla and cookie dough and the other with cake batter, brownie bits, and rainbow sprinkles. It got mixed very well together and had great flavor! It was some of the creamiest ice cream I've ever had! Additionally, the coldest I may add. It did not immediately start melting like other ice-creams do and the actual cup was getting frosty - so, make sure to grab a napkin to hold it with! They also had nice sturdy spoons (that makes a difference)! The size options were very generous, ranging from small to regular to large, to pint and quart for home or more people. As mentioned, it is a little on the pricey side (we got two regulars for I think $16/17) but the ingredients are fresh, it's made to order, fully customizable, and flash frozen right there. I thought it was a really cool experience and great tasting treat worth the cost. read more

Never heard of this type of ice cream. My son brought me here for the first time and this place was packed. The owner/manager I am assuming that took our order he was very helpful. They're so quick here and everyone seemed to be enjoying their nieve. Definite would come back. This place is pet friendly, if you bring your pet they get a free ice cream treat. Otherwise you pay.
