My husband and I went to this Chillin' Out dump site, er, ice cream dump site, and our experience was catastrophic, at best. First, all the windows are covered - FOR A REASON! There are security cameras everywhere around the dump site, and the building is filthier than Pig Pen's clammy toes after a long, hot and humid day in the Everglades. To say this place is a dump is really far too kind. The clown that appeared from the wastewater plant behind the covered window to take our orders looked like he had just climbed out from the sewer pipes, where his cousin It lives. After taking our orders and getting our money, the cesspool of diarrhea that is the employee made us wait unnecessarily long, only to arise from the swamp vapors with melted mush for ice cream and an attitude that eclipses an awakened hibernating bear. The experience only got progressively worse. My husband's sundae was topped off with hair and dandruff! Mine was a soupy mess! When I told the disastrous, lazy employee about my soupy ice cream, his attitude only got worse! We spent $25 on the trash we received misrepresented as ice cream, and we did not get a military discount because the fool mentioned that they discontinued it. When my husband asked him about whether that business is a Twistee Treat location, the obese disaster told us that it's the same thing but with a different name and menu. As if that wasn't enough, when my husband tried calling later on to inform management about our experience, he found that the phone number they have listed is disconnected. Trying to find some way to contact management, my husband found an email address and contacted the dump site only to receive a response, "Sorry about that." This place's ice cream isn't bad but is not sanitary at all. I was enjoying my Oreo ice cream until I found a raisin and some sprinkles in the ice cream. I don't know how and I kinda don't wanna know, but it was there just a few scoops into eating it. I don't know what they're doing back there, but it's just not sanitary. Cross contamination shouldn't happen, and if you're using a machine that previously had a different flavor it should be cleaned exquisitely, not leaving any residue of the previous flavor. I did not finish my ice cream, I was afraid I would've found something else like a screwdriver or something that is not supposed to be in an Oreo ice cream. Stopped in here one afternoon with my hubby. We were in the mood for ice cream, and this was the closest to where we were. I am so happy it was the closest, because it was great. There was a large menu as we walked up. At the top of the menu was Butter Pecan Praline Caramel Crunch. I didn't even look an farther after I saw that. My husband and I both got one, and it was delicious. I've had a lot of frozen treats, and that ranks in the top 5 for me. It was a large portion, and the cost was $5. I felt the price was reasonable for all of the ice cream and goodies piled on top. The gentleman that took our order, and served us was very kind. They had a sign posted in the window for a free pint of ice cream if you show your conceal and carry permit. I loved that! I like to spend my money supporting a business that supports our individual liberties. They don't except bills over $20, and they do charge a fee to use your debit card. I didn't mind to pay the fee because I understand how a small business works. I only took off a star because their ice cream was served in a styrofoam bowl, and as much as I dislike plastic containers, I actually dislike styrofoam more. This is still my favorite ice cream shop in Kissimmee, FL! Still has the best butter pecan ice cream you will ever eat! Creamy, salty, sweet, buttery, and nutty. YUM! I've had one of their chillers with Vanilla soft serve with reece's peanut butter cups churned into it. It was really good but a bit overly sweet for my taste but that wasn't their fault, that was mine for ordering a bad combo. I should've stuck with peanuts or reece's pieces or something tried n true. Or just gotten the best butter pecan ice cream ever! haha I like that there's outdoor seating too on cozy nights with your date. One thing has changed since my last review.
