I love that Twistee Treat is still going strong! I love ice cream, and this stuff is so good. It's like Dairy Queen but better (and much more expensive). My favorite thing here are the Twirls, their take on a Blizzard. Soft serve vanilla ice cream blended with your choice of ingredients. I usually get the child size (12 oz), which is just enough for a sweet treat for one, blended with cookie dough! Hubby loves the Butterfinger one. We usually go through the drive-thru, and it's always fairly fast and efficient. Although this location is sometimes staffed with indifferent teenagers, they provide good service (if not the most attentive). There are a few outdoor tables, but we usually just park and sit in the car. There's a huge, free parking lot at the adjacent Winn Dixie grocery store, which makes for good people watching at night. This location is open late, which makes it a great stop after leaving Disney for the day. Everybody can use a little sweet treat after a long day, and Twistee Treat is one of my favorites in Orlando. read more

Arrived, mild busy. Went inside and stood at the "Order here" sign for a good 4-5 mins, not one hello, may I help you or anything. As the 6 employees all were just staring at me one finally said I could come to the other side of the counter to order? What the point of the order here sign then? All the kids working didn't act like they wanted to be there, a lot of attitudes and lack of common business sense. But as a positive, they did give me napkins and the ice cream was decent, I had the turtle tracks. This is a definite one and done for me. I'll pay the extra for better service and experience. Also as for theming, they have a light up ice cream cone outside that's fun and changes colors lol. That's about it, hand full of tables outside. - The sign I am referring too is directly above the ice cream, not a wall or curtain and no iPad. It is directly above the ice cream and next to cash register. Yes you are correct it is in English. If you don't order at the ice cream, take down the sign that says order here. Also get a staff that isn't rude or just stands around, I have a feeling it's probably a deeper issue with management. All good, maybe other locations are better? I've been craving soft serve ice cream for the past month or so and everywhere I looked they only had scoops. I searched on yelp and Twistee Treat came up - I've driven by them many times but never stopped. I'm delighted to say their soft serve ice cream is some of the best I've ever had, and for prices that can't be beat! I've posted an updated image of their menu since the last one was from a couple years ago. It's so refreshing to be able to get a medium soft serve cone with rainbow sprinkles for around $4, where most places are charging over $6 for a kids cup! The medium was swirled higher than I expected, and it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back and trying more of their options soon. read more
