I visited Chilly Spoons twice and I've had a great experience both times! This is a local, family-owned business. One great thing about Chilly Spoons is that the price of your frozen yogurt is based on the size of your froyo cup, not by weight. They have lots of flavors and I think they rotate them as well. There's several toppings to choose from and I also tried their new taiyaki fish cone! The taiyaki was soft and paired well with my froyo. I will definitely be back! read more

The short: Do you ever get food from a place, immediately think to yourself, "I should not have done that," and then proceed to feel ripped off? Yeah, that's this place. The long: Chilly Spoons charges by cup rather than weight, which means to maximize your value you need to fill up as much as you can. Despite how much or what you add, it still isn't worth the price. There were only two nondairy/vegan flavors available: pineapple "Dole Whip" and vanilla almond milk. First off, the "Dole Whip" was chunky, solid, and difficult to dispense from the machine. That made it impossible to effectively fill the cup. The flavor missed the mark, too. Secondly, the almond milk flavor ran out while mid-dispensing. That left for the cups to be primarily one flavor with no other option. When notifying the staff member that the machine ran out, she commented (without checking) that it might be stuck. No, the low mix light was clearly flashing. $10 for two measly kids size cups of faux Dole Whip leftovers is embarrassing. I wish I could give zero stars and be refunded both my time and money. read more

They have a dedicated party or children's room with a chalkboard and activities for the young ones. Generally set up with twelve yogurt flavors to choose from and another eight flavors for ice cream. Large variety of toppings and drips/drizzles to make your own Chilly Spoonn masterpiece. You can get your ice cream or frozen yogurt in two cone varieties or three cup sizes. Maybe we came on an off evening. Everything looked like it needed a wipe down. A lot of things were not properly stocked or yogurt flavors were unavailable. You can sample as many flavors as you like. Everything tasted pretty meh though so o settled for ice cream. Plain flavor, store bought, and even that was unremarkable. Shame. read more

Their froyo is amazing and unlike a lot of other froyo places they charge by cup size not weight which is just nice to not have to guess what you total might be. With four children alone time can we hard to come by so my husband and I try to make it a point to have date days with each child every once in a while. There are various frozen yogurt flavors to choose from, and you can add as much or as little as you want and mix whatever flavors you desire. After you've mastered the frozen yogurt options, then you move on to toppings! This is where is gets good! They have fresh fruit (strawberries, pineapples, blueberries, cherries- you name it!), various chopped nuts, candy toppings, sprinkles, sauces, hot fudge, hot caramel and whipped cream. Your eyes are on overload with all the topping choices!!! It's fantastic! You make it just the way you like. You can even go to the counter and get small sample cups to sample the frozen yogurt options before making the "big" decision. I know what you are thinking, it's just a frozen yogurt place that serves ice cream too, but no, it's so much more. It's spotlessly clean. No one else is that clean. I watched the food safety practices and I was so happy because I get sick easily from food borne illnesses. They are so warm and welcoming that I didn't want to leave.
