Stopped for a sweet treat after dinner. Good ice cream with lots of flavors. Made the mistake of not reading the description before I ordered. I thought the Cookie Monster would just be filled with lots of different cookies I had no idea that it was more about Cookie Monster from sesame Street and would be blue with some cookies mixed it. The only moo'ing I heard was from the blender. The fake cows do not moo. The cow theme is great. There are some of those old school kiddy rides outback. I'm not sure if they work or not. The boxing machine does work. They have both scooped ice cream and soft serve. The flavor options seemed a little short but not lacking. I ordered a milkshakes with one of the seasonal flavors. The "Coney Island Hotdogs" pulled us in after a quick visit to Ace Hardware next door. The decor here is off the charts fun, and I am guessing people come here for the ice cream... not us as we wanted dogs! What can I say? The giant cow really got me. Was I hungry after dinner? No. But when you see a cow themed dessert spot, you stop by! I can see that this really is a local gem -- the vibes are family friendly fun. They do have a sign that says no one under the age of 14 is allowed without being accompanied by an adult. I need to know what happened that prompted this policy! We got their brownie sundae -- all the way with calypso crunch ice cream. That's chocolate, with peanut butter swirl and pretzel bites. I like the ambiance of the place, it feels like a very local spot to get together with your friends. The decorations are silly but charming. The ice cream was generally quick to come out and the employee allowed us to try several flavors before picking one. I just went to Moos on A1A in Indialantic. I ordered dairy free ice cream with chocolate and peanut butter. I was asked if I wanted a hot fudge sundae. I said sure. I got ice cream with peanut butter sauce. I said I wanted hot fudge. They said oh you changed your order. Huh. I didn't. They say we can add chocolate that will cost more. Wait, I wanted a hot fudge sundae why is it costing .98 cents more. I asked for the manager. She basically said we changed our order and we'd have to pay. Seriously take the bottle of chocolate syrup in your hand, put it on the ice cream and make a happy customer. She just stared at me. My husband ordered an ice cream soda. Went here with the family after scouring Yelp for ice cream spots and, very surprisingly, not finding many. Pros: it's reasonably priced and there are plenty of flavor options. The aesthetic is insane, but it was effective in distracting some of our group from the fact that the ice cream is not of great quality, which leads us to the... Cons - poor quality ice cream. Think the big white tub at Walmart with some add-ins. Don't go here to be blown away by the food. I was visiting my parents over Christmas and we came here twice. The first time I got Cookie Monster and peppermint. Yes to both!!! The Cookie Monster was a bright blue and so was my mouth when I was finished. So don't get that one if you're trying to sneak some ice cream on the way home from an errand (LOL). The friendly cashier was quick with our orders, too! There is a fun atmosphere to this place with things to do for the little ones. Never have had a bad experience at Moo's. They have so many options: hard, soft, yogurt, italian ice, milkshakes, blizzards, even hot dogs. They accommodate to allergies, as well. We vacation in cocoa beach every year, and we drive down every year to get moo's because it's so good. I've had many different flavors but the carrot cake is so good and I would highly recommend. All their flavors are delicious. They have an adorable outdoor seating area with old carnival games and a big fan to keep you cool. The kids that serve you are always so polite and diligent! We had ice cream here about five years ago and loved it. We returned last night and were slightly disappointed. Your "large" drink is average size at most places, with no refills. The ice cream was good but nothing to anxiously await eating again. My friends know I love ice cream and told me they had the perfect little place to take me to when I came to visit Melbourne. This is the cutest little ice cream shop! Cows are everywhere, there are corn hole games to play, a see saw, mechanical mini carousel and even a cow you can "milk" yourself! There's shaved ice, milkshakes, regular ice cream and soft serve. A good place for ice cream on A1A in Indialantic This is a family-owned place right off the SR A1A between the Eau Gallie and US 192 causeways. They have been open on the west side of the street for over 20 years. It is a bit of an eclectic place with limited parking along the side and back. Seating is all under cover but outside on wooden tables of various heights. They offer over 60 ice cream options, all-beef hot dogs Italian Ice and more! You order at the side nearest to the street and pickup your order when your name is called at the window right next to it. They have a drive-through that was pretty busy when we visited. My group ordered at the counter. The staff was patient and friendly. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. The hard ice cream in waffle cones comes in plastic containers that help control the ripping getting everywhere. We picked up our order and sat at one of the wooden bench tables. They have some games for kids and adults near the back of the location that we tried. Overall, it was a nice experience that has a very good local feel to it. read more

But as discussed below, I would not go as an adult looking for a yummy dessert. Service was also good! They were quick and nice. However, this is the worst shaved ice I've ever had!!!!!!!! It was so gross. This was the first time in weeks I bought food somewhere and didn't finish it. The ice was hard and not fluffy. And there was too much syrup. And all I tasted was sugar. AND I didn't even get a color changing cup... they advertise the color changing cup that comes with the shaved ice, and I got a styrofoam cup instead. Much less fun and also bad for the environment. You then wait for your completed order at the left booth. Staff is working hard and are pretty friendly. There's some toys here for kids to play with, and some tables to eat your food at. My vanilla soft serve sugar cone dipped in chocolate crackle was outstanding. The ice cream was super creamy and the chocolate nice and smooth. I used to love Moos. They should remove the soft serve from their name. I have been a customer since they opened and they were the best for soft serve. The orange and vanilla swirl was a family favorite. They used to have a rotating selection of soft serve flavors . Now it's chocolate and vanilla. They have switched to hard ice cream. I miss my orange and vanilla milkshakes. I would get them twice a week at least. Now I go to Cold Stone for soft serveish in many flavors. read more
