We had to call them back two times within the same month because the leak kept on returning. They stated that they underbid the job and that out of the kindness of their hearts they would fix the issue even though it would cost more than they quoted me. Guess what? It has not even been an entire year and the leak is back in full force. Listen to the reviews, this company deserves its 3 star rating, use them at your own risk.

Four vents and they wanted to charge another $100 to "sanitize" it- when all along they reeked of cigarette smoke. They declined cleaning bathroom fan cover and stated they were not trained to do fan. When it came time for payment they changed the name to "Indoor Air Quality"- and when I wrote the wording in a reverse order on the check, they said that's okay and left. No address no phone number on the receipt which simply was titled "Air Duct Cleaning Services". They were here for 15 minutes. And trying to access the "Angie Review" site under their original text message proclaiming the company's name "Colorado Chimney Sweep " had been blocked to my access. BBB gave them an "F". Scam artists at best!

I do not mind if they were unable to get one made, but tell me instead of just completely ignoring me. I ended up writing a review on Google and got a call within an hour. The guy tried to give me a refund to delete the review. I told him I do not take bribe.

I started off having them do some plumbing work for me to correct issues identified during a water meter replacement. They did a great job so I quoted for some more work - a leaky toilet valve, replacing the main water shutoff gate valve that leaks by, and a spigot that cannot decide whether it leaks or no. They sent thorough quotes that gave me all the necessary information to gather comps (none of which were comparable in price or thoroughness). I decided to move forward with the water heater and leaky toilet valve (when it rains it pours; AC went out at the same time I needed this job) and Tim showed up right at 9. He was polite and respectful and got right to work. He brought the new water heater in on a dolly, appropriately strapped and used a part of the cardboard box to protect the unit from the ratchet strap. When he had to run out for a part, he let me know and went to get it. The water heater install and toilet valve replacement took around 3 hours. I did a goof and moved cash to the wrong bank account and didn't have my checking account funded on the day of service. I called and talked to Audrey while Tim was still on site and she said it was totally fine to write a check that would be ready to cash on Friday (it's a Wednesday currently). Customer service is top notch and a great example of why to keep using independently owned businesses when private equity and corporate options seem like an easier option. One consideration is that of the 4-5 times Front Range Water Heater employees have been at my house, none have covered their shoes. For service professionals entering a home in all weather conditions and going back and forth to the nasty crawl space, that's a level of respect to the homeowner that I hope for every time and rarely encounter these days. We were left with no AC and an 86-degree house in June. We have homeowners insurance, which was expressed early on to the tech who identified our TXV needed to be replaced, so thankfully, a local trusted company (Tin Shop) was able to get in quickly and undo the mess. The tune-up was never completed, yet we were charged for it.
