They had one pot of boiling oil for all the orders they received. I asked a patron if it was good and he gave me a rude look and said, "Of course I am eating it." That should have been my sign from God not to order, but I had a long night of drinking and had nothing since an early breakfast. So I ordered... I figured it would be really good for the 30 minute wait and $15.00, but alas disappointing. Tasteless fish that was either fresh or frozen Pacific cod or frozen poor quality Atlantic cod. The batter was excellent as were the chips and the oil was fresh. I grew up on the north Atlantic coast in the US and lived in England and Ireland. The fish was just awful and that is the entreé so one star. That guy I asked had zero tastebuds. Long Covid? See a doctor, just not me please! Zero ambiance.

They had paper ordering sheets and pencils at the table, which seemed smart. The special of the day was carne asada. You can get flour or corn tortillas though this isn't indicated anywhere. I got a carne asada taco and a green Chile brisket taco. Both had a lot of meat but I wish there had been more toppings. The meat was good but there weren't any sauces or salsas available so it just seemed rather plain and a bit clumsy. My friends had gotten tacos before me and all felt the cheese was definitely parmesan and not cotija, and didn't like it, so I asked for no cheese. I would have liked these better with a scoop of pico! The young woman working to take orders was very friendly and helpful!

Yeowch! At least I burned off my food while trying to balance? Anywho, this place is located right across from Barrio Queen. At 6PM in November, the Barrio Queen actually looks like true royalty with her bright neon sign lighting the way to hungry patrons looking for a bite to eat. There were 10+ trucks this particular Friday night, lots of people were in attendance to dine, and seating was a headache. We managed to snag a table right next to The Maine Lobster Lady's food truck at the last second. I wish I had known about this luck because I would have ordered the bisque! Oh well. Maybe next time. Anyways, Gilbert Food Truck Food Court has a rotating guests of food trucks weekly so make sure you check to see if your fave truck is in attendance on their respective social medias. As Chris said, why pay a cover fee for fancy food truck festivals when you can come here every Friday night? Live music and chocolate stout cotton candy from Sugar Hi awaits you!

I almost went with the Classic, but saw someone with a BBQ Brisket potato and instantly changed my mind. When I took it back into the office and opened it up, at least 5 of my co workers came over to tell me how good it smelled. The brisket portion is generous and tender - and the cheese, sour cream, and green onions are the perfect classic compliment. It was swimming in melted butter, which might be a negative for some. But not for me! I was tempted to give 4 stars because a $10 potato is still pricey, no matter how delicious, but the girls on the truck were awesome and service was quick. I will definitely order again.

(Motivational pep talks obviously aren't my strong point). Literally, my dream come true on wheels. My friends and family joke that in my last life I lived through the potato famine which is why I'm so obsessed with this starch and I really can't argue with that. If you're a fan of the baked potatoes from Jason's Deli (shoutout to the Plain Jane) you'll love these. The potato itself is pretty hefty - it's not like the usual sizes you get as a side dish and the pictures on here make it look pretty tiny as well. In person, these taters mean business, especially with all the toppings they add to make it as tall as your face. This is definitely something you hold tenderly and safely with both hands according to OSHA standards. I got the Original combined with the Cheese and Broccoli because the broccoli totally offsets everything else calorie-wise. The potato isn't dry or hard, but soft like you're cutting into a fresh warm pancake with your fork. When you look down at your place, your tater is bathing in a warm bed of melted butter. It's so perfect, so beautiful ... GET IN MAH BELLY. If you're not a cheese wiz fan, I recommend you don't get anything that has the melted cheese - just ask for the shredded. I've been known to eat an ungodly amount of potatoes in one sitting but I hit a brick wall 3/4 into this with all the toppings on it. I highly recommend the Brisket baked potato if you like a spices (not spicy) in your food. Great price point, totally recommend if you ever see them!

My husband came across Buono's and looked at the Yelp reviews. He told our grandsons and their Dad about it, and they wanted to try it. We were here on a weekday around 4 p.m. At that time, it was slow, but gradually things were picking up. Most customers came to pick up takeout orders. One person ordered 2 slices of pizza and ate them while there. None of us ordered pizza. One of our grandsons and I both ordered spaghetti with sauce. Their Dad ordered a calzone. My husband ordered penne with sauce and sausages. Another grandson ordered baked penne with cheese. One of his brothers ordered a steak-and-cheese sub. We all ordered soft drinks. Things got hectic while we were waiting for our food. There was one man who was working the front of the house. He was friendly and efficient, if overworked. The back of the house seemed to have two or three employees preparing the food. I liked my pasta dish. The spaghetti was cooked al dente, and there was a decent amount of sauce. The grandson, who got the same dish, also liked it. Their Dad liked his calzone -- it was the biggest calzone we ever saw. He couldn't eat it in one sitting and ended up bringing some home. My husband liked his dish, as did the other two grandsons regarding their orders. The one who ordered the steak-and-cheese sub ended up bringing half of it home. The ambiance says "neighborhood restaurant' as we noticed that most of the customers were regulars. We all liked what we had, and all agreed that we would consider a return visit.
