I recently visited this restaurant with my friend who brought his two big dogs. We sat out on the patio and our server immediately brought out water for the dogs. I love that we can bring our dogs with us when we eat out. My friend ordered chicken for his dogs. I ordered a hamburger with steak fries and my friend ordered the same. The food was fast, the server was very nice and friendly, and our meal was delicious. I like that the servers are not afraid of dogs. We did get put on notice by a young lady who first came out to talk to us because we weren't aware we needed to take the dogs through the inside area first to be seated in the patio. So anyone reading this should go through the restaurant to be seated in the patio, if you have dogs. Uncle Best's is a pleasant place to eat with your furry friends. Thankfully, they thought of everything, from chicken for our pets, to ample shade on the patio. We both had a good time there and we will come back at some point. Overall, it was relaxing and there was very little noise, which kept his dogs calm. I recommend this restaurant if you're interested in bringing your furry friends along and the food will not disappoint! read more

I've tried Uncle Bear's about 3 times and maybe I have not found the right meals or appetizers unfortunately but that's why I rated it 3 stars. I have heard great things about there seasonal beer flavors so I'd like to go back and try that. I really love how it is dog themed so I am hopeful I can find something I like here. read more

The wings were decent, especially grilled and retossed. But I normally do dry rub and the Cajun rub just seemed to not have much flavor unfortunately. Needs more of an actual coating. Hot honey was really tasty though. The fries are pretty good too, a bit greasy and the ranch is pretty liquidy but excellent flavor. Wasn't bad at all, our server was super sweet, but what's getting me to come back is their Bloody Mary... So good. It's hard to find one that doesn't taste like a generic bottle mix, and maybe this is, but it tastes phenomenal. This is simple easy lunch. Wings are a bit pricey (like $1.50 a wing) but that's probably standard now. Patio is dog friendly as well and there's plenty of TVs for sports. read more

It would have been 5 stars if not for very poor service. The bartender rescued my experience. The staff isn't attentive at all. My server came up to me to take my order and I asked if I could have 2 minutes to review the menu. Atleast 10 minutes pass and I can see the server hanging out with other employees in her own world. I finally walked up to the bar and asked if I could place an order. From then on, the bartender took care of me and made up for the server. I've read a few other reviews about poor customer service. Food has gone way downhill in the last year my, mushroom and Swiss cheese burger is missing the Swiss cheese and some mushrooms. I think it had four or five steak fries. I haven't been to an Uncle Bear's in several years. I forgot what I have been missing! Had a fantastic OB Dog Beach Shroom burger and fries, which was served quickly. The ambiance is 100% bar/pub and at this time of year it's great to enjoy the indoor/outdoor vibe. Had great service, and will definitely drop in again sooner than later. read more

The wings were really good like finger lickin good, however I did ask for all flats. I'm quite picky so I had my bf eat the drumsticks The service was really good. We used to have an uncle Bear's near us years ago on Warner & Cooper I had the original sliders, hubby had BLT, other family had Brisket sliders, parmesean garlic fries and steak fries with spicy chicken. People are definitely not coming here for the over priced bar food. This was a sad excuse for a burger, $17 is ridiculous. They are not a brewery, just a regular bar, but charging stupid pricing for everything. The portions were so small. The burger was smaller than the palm of my hand. The fries were soggy and not fresh. The jalapeno poppers were bottom of the barrel freezer burned and fried. They tasted like they were sitting out and re heated. This location has terrible food. I will start by saying there were plenty of employees and not very many customers in the place. Took forever for our waitress to take our drink order. We only wanted water and it took 10 minutes to get that! She then took our order and 40 minutes later, when several other people who came in after us were receiving their food, we had to ask another server where our food was. We never even saw our waitress after she took our order! They gave us some story as to the computers going down. True or not, where was the customer service?? The other server then threw some fried pickles on our table and muttered something as she turned and walked away, no time for us to ask her anything. We eventually got our food, which was okay, but no one ever came by to ask if we needed anything else. As our original waitress came to pick up our plates she said we could have a free dessert. We declined, and a few minutes later we received the bill. They gave us a whopping $12.50 off our bill, there were three of us. Simply put, they forgot about us!! I guarantee that if we had been having alcohol they would have been back to our table checking on us every 5-10 minutes!! I will not be back to this bar/restaurant!! read more

Still loving on this location and staff at Uncle Bear's on Greenfield! Our server/bartender Bri was awesome, with a great conversation and suggestions on the Brewery location as well as the pride everyone has in providing the best experience to their customers! This has been our go to place for a beer and burger as my wife and I have our favorites. The menu for appetizers is nice and the beer selection is extensive for a place brewing their own beer. Very bright inside and lots of TVs to watch your favorite team or just to hang out at. Will sit outdoors next time, weather permitting and perhaps take our pup with us as they are pet friendly here and love to see all the puppies showing up. read more

I feel very scammed leaving here. The food was honestly great. But I feel nickel and dimed and it was sneaky. My meal didn't come with a side and I guess I read that wrong. I ordered a side salad. I wish the waitress would have told me because I was surprised was a nice $5.40 charge there. Then the kids burger you get charged for everything! .75 for tomatoes and they make you think it's included them bam, you get the check and another added charge. I wouldn't mind if I would have been told but I wasn't and I'm very upset about it. I judge restaurants in 3 categories Food, service and Ambiance. Food 4/5: I would rank the food 4/5 because the New Mexico burger was to wet for my liking but it was still good. The PB &J Burger was much better wasn't drenched in peanut butter but you can still taste it. I don't recommend the wings, we got Mango Habanero but they didn't really have flavor. The beer battered fries were amazing! Service 5/5: our server (Jamie) was really nice, and came to check on us sporadically so we never had to chase anyone down. Even the other servers/bartenders were very friendly even though they didn't have us as a table. Ambiance 5/5: If you are a dog person this is the place to go. Even if you don't have a dog the whole place is dog themed. If you do have a dog this is a great place as well. We didn't bring our dogs but every other table had a dog which was really cool to see. They even had a game called "the hoop game" where if you make a basket you get a free shot. This was my first time coming here but this won't be my last. read more

Nice place for a drink, food, and watching a game. It's super dog friendly with a large patio and coolers outside. Dogs have their own menu and on Saturdays eat free with purchase of a menu item. The menu had some typical bar food with a tex mex theme. Lots of burgers, tacos, wings, and more. We tried some of the beer cheese soup which was great and super flavorful. The other item we tried was the steak quesadellas which were okay. The guacamole was good but actual item was nothing to right home about. Pricing was good as well nothing outrageous. They have some cocktails like margaritas and about 10 of so beers. We were able to try a peach one which was nice. Widh they had more sours that weren't an iPad. My husband and I have been semi-regulars at this establishment for quite some time, but our experience on Saturday, 9/13/25 around 4 PM was the final straw when it comes to dealing with Lauren, the bartender. The bar wasn't even busy -- maybe six other patrons -- yet we sat there for a solid 15 minutes before Lauren even bothered to come over and take our drink order. When she finally did, she didn't smile, didn't show a single ounce of friendliness and just looked at us with a dead face and asked "what can I get you". She dropped our drinks off with an "here you go" and didn't return for nearly 20 more minutes, never once checking to see if we wanted food or another round. She passed us multiple times and didn't even acknowledge we were sitting there. Sadly, this isn't a one-off experience. It's become a pattern, and we've learned to work around it -- to the point that when we come in on Fridays, we literally leave when Sam's shift ends just to avoid dealing with Lauren. That's how bad the service is. She's consistently cold, inattentive, and makes you feel like you're a burden for simply existing at the bar. Her customer service is truly abysmal, and it's baffling how someone so unapproachable continues to be scheduled in such a customer-facing role. We genuinely enjoy this place and the staff -- especially Sam, who is always fantastic -- but Lauren is the reason we cut our visits short or skip certain nights altogether. Management should take a serious look at how one person's attitude can ruin the experience for loyal patrons. read more

Food was extremly messy to eat. Way too much mustard on my burger and server kept sitting down to talk to her friends. It was a very long drive to get there for the experience we had. No drink refills during the meal, busser tried to take my wife's plate before she was finished, and the server standing a staring while compleating payment was a lot to get passed. The Bartender can't make basic drinks like a Cosmo or Lemon Drop. I have even given the ingredients as a guideline but they are not followed. Chik fil a is bigger and better than this and a fraction of the cost. This was just insane to me. It was tough and absolutely had no flavor. The service was pretty bad as well. Waitress forgot things (which is fine) but hardly ever checked on us. My husband got the chicken sliders and it was the same, super paper thin chicken and did not taste good at all. HORRIBLE SERVICE or lack of. This is the 2nd time in less than a month that my boyfriend and I have showed up with our dog and not received any service on the patio! The 1st time was the 1st week of the NFL regular season, we went to the patio and the bartender refused to open the glass garage door so we could watch all the TVs that were on and pointed towards the patio. We asked a host if the door was going to be open and all he said was 'guess not'. So we left. Now today we came and the garage door was open, great. We sat at a high top table the host brought us menus, but no server ever came to greet us or get our drink order. One of the female waitresses walked by and we asked if we could order, she's like 'we have sections and I told the other server you guys were out here'. So after 10+ minutes of sitting outside and no service we left. This type of service is unacceptable and not a way to treat customers. read more
