So I'm from Toronto and really missed good Chinese fast food... This place hit the spot! The shrimp fried rice was primo and the waitress was super nice. This place is exactly what you would expect from a chinese fast food place. Combos with fried rice, noodles and your choice of entree. If you are lucky enough to come in when a specific entree has just been cooked, that's when it's fresh. Otherwise, the food may look like it has been sitting there all day. read more

I didn't have the highest expectations come here, but I was really hungry. They managed to meet my low expectations perfectly. At first glance all the food looks as if it was sitting under the heat lamps for a long time and /or reheated from the day before. The Kung pao chicken had veggies that looked weltered and I only got 2 small pieces of chicken. The shrimp chop suey tastes as if it was from the frozen food isle at the grocery store, and the bbq pork was dried out just sitting in a bath of sauce. The rice is mediocre at best, and the chow mane isn't soft almost as if it wasn't cooked all the way. The lady's behind the counter seemed to interact with customers nicely, how ever didn't interact with me well, they weren't rude but there conversation seemed more important than interacting with me. Maybe it's because I'm not a regular. Unfortunately I have no reason to come back here or anything to recommend to anyone except try another restaurant. read more

First of all, I love love LOVE their chow mein. The chow mein is not too greasy and not too dry. Good selection of food! Their kung pao chicken has rich flavors and the black pepper chicken is superb. I definitely will try the orange chicken and shrimp fried rice next time! Btw, try the fried wontons.They are amazing. They will come out fresh as it it made to order. Very creamy and they dont cheat you on the filling. That wonton is big. ;) It might be hard to see because it is on the menu overhead. Normally I would avoid chicken dishes because I am afraid that it would be dry. My boyfriend wanted to get it and I tried it ... to my surprise, it was juicy! Very good if you ask me. :) Service is great! Very warm and friendly staff (be nice and they might give you freebies here and there!) They give HUGE portions of food too. It was overflowing on my plate. If youre feeling fancy, they have a good selection of cook to order items. Overall this place is amazing. I will drive all the way from the IE to Carson for this. Great tasting Chinese food on the go. What can you complain about? It is reasonably prices plus the lady gives a generous amount of food. Totally worth it. Plus the lady is very friendly. Mom was celebrating her 65th birthday and said she wanted china bowls catering again! Every year we come for any events because they are the only restaurant in the area that I can rely on. The owner did tell me she caters for schools and churches and any service men events and offers them discounts which surprised me. I personally thought it was very nice. We ordered a large chow mien and large fried rice. Also a large orange chicken mushroom chicken and stir fried veggies for the vegetarians! Kim the owner provides you with a chart that tells you how much you should purchase for how many people you want to serve which I found very helpful Thank you and will be back!! read more

Food was fresh and tasty. Both the man and the woman behind the counter serving the plates were super friendly. They had a few regulars walk in while we dined and the lady greeted them with a smile and asked about their families. Came in today & they made fresh beef & broccoli for me & my fiancé's order. The owners are so polite every time I come in. Insure you come way before closing to insure that you can get egg rolls. The closer it is to closing the less likely chance that you'll be able to get one. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but I was just so unhappy with their food. The chow main and fried rice are ok but the orange chicken was lacking flavor. We also ordered the BBQ pork and it was so tasteless. Literally didn't taste like anything but boiled pork. We also ordered egg roll which tasted like your usual egg roll unfortunately it came with a milky red sauce that was so watered down. At first I thought my daughter was joking but then I tried it and was wondering how the heck they even serve this. I truly hope they read this and make some changes or maybe taste their own food. read more

I love this spot. It's located in a plaza with places like Wingstop, Subway, Chile Verde, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and McDonald's nearby. I always go to China Bowl because it's a great place to go if you're hungry and want to get some food in you. The food here is cheap and served in very generous portions. It only helps that the food is great too! The employees are very nice and friendly. They're talkative and make the place that much nicer. Food was just OK. BBQ pork was very soft and fatty. Orange chicken was way too sweet. BUT. The hot sour soup was phenomenal.

Came here the other day because I was really craving that kind of chinese food you can get for five bucks. The food was egh so so, I ordered orange chicken, chicken and green bean and chow mein noodles with steamed rice. The orange chicken tasted like orange mush with bits of chicken in it. The Chicken and green bean was really good surprisngly. The Chow mein was ok I just didnt feel so great about the color of the noodles because its that orange color kind of noodle. The service was fast and wasnt so bad and to be honest the lady at the register was a really nice lady. I ate my food inside the restaurant and while I was eating I started to notice that some the people that came in for lunch the lady at the register remembered there names. She was such a friendly lady that her regulars just seem to come back and she just really seems to care about her customers. I probably will come back but im going to pass on the chinese food and try there shrimp soup that I saw when I walking out, it looked sooo good. read more

Typical fast food Chinese place aka Panda Express. Food didn't taste fresh but what do you expect?

I tried their Wonton soup today on my first visit. It was good and it had plenty of good sized shrimp. The ladies that work there were really nice and even the other customers, they appeared to be regulars were pleasant. The dining room is a nice size and the restaurant was very clean. I will be back as their variety of dishes seem better than Panda Express and the food looks more authentic. I like the fact that you special order your dish and have it your way. read more

This is the best fast food Chinese restaurant in Carson. Infinitely better than Flying Chopstick. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Their orange chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Salt and Pepper fried chicken wihgs are my favorites. I love their chow mein and fried rice too. They have the regular ready cooked chow mein and fried rice all ready when you come in but you can special order different kinds of chow mein and fried rice like shrimp or BBQ pork chow mein or fried rice just like in traditional Chinese restaurants. The regular chow mein and fried rice is delish enough for me though. I always get the half and half with Orange Chicken and Broccoli with Beef and some a la carte items like egg rolls and their awesomely delicious salt and pepper wings. You can order those wings in either 4 or 8 pieces. Their workers here are very nice especially the husband and wife owners. Very generous portions and delish foods for cheap prices unlike that horrible Panda Express which isn't even authentic Chinese Food. I come here two to three times a week. It's been so long until now that I've had great express Chinese Food. Always recommend this great restaurant. read more
