The storefront is open with menus on a table outside plexiglass room. The restaurant section is closed off. We ordered via a microphone system, and then gave payment through a plexiglass window opening. The employee who took our order and payment was masked. For two combination sweet and sour meals (1 chicken and 1 pork with fried rice and an egg roll each), we paid $17.11 (plus a tip of $4). Even though a sign on the door asked patrons to wear masks, we watched an elderly man walk in without one. We waited outside for our food. It's tough to run a business during a pandemic. We took the food back to our cabin, but if we had wanted to eat outside, one table with two chairs was outside the door. Both dinners were good! The egg rolls were the best. We got a lot of good food for a reasonable price.

Food was okay , nothing special about it . If you willing to drive farther out , I recommend you to . Barely any flavor . Placed a large order : ordered honey chicken wings with shrimp fried rice ,fried donuts, fried wonton, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice , and Hibachi Scallops. Had to throw out the fried wonton , was disgusting , hard , and a sour expired taste to it . Also had to throw out the sesame chicken ,tasted like it was sitting out for hours , rice was dried out , chicken was stale. Come here only if there's no other options for food or come here if you're starving , and can't cook at home . Will never come back again

Great food with a very broad menu. The portions are generous and the extra "surprises" are great. I LOVE the Sesame Balls!

Really good Chinese food! It doesn't look that great from the outside but it's worth stopping by.

We called to be sure they were open - they were, onky closed on Tuesdays. Trust the reviews - clear menu with thorough descriptions, very tasty food and substantial portions, great service, & clean bathrooms. We ordered pork & veg gyoza - the sauce was at my very basic limit of spice. I let them know that, and was then encouraged to get the Basil & ground chicken w rice, no spice - I loved it and have a container to take home to finish later. My honey got the udon - hot; he said it was perfect - he finished it. As other reviews have mentioned, it isn't fast food, and when down to 1 server, it may take a couple of minutes to catch them, but the family server was nice, and Rachel let us know that she ate here so much that they offered her a job - which says a lot. She let us know that they also have a location in Charleston. We will be back when next in the area!

Started with a ginger dressing salad. For our entrees, we had chicken ginger & chicken green curry. We asked for spicy but they both were not that spicy. Wished that Thai restaurants make the dishes spicy when asked. They had additional spices on the table that we could use but the outside bottles were so sticky that I refused to touch/use them. Decent wine by the glass - Josh. Would stop in again when in the area.

This is a take-out ONLY operation, not unusual for many Chinese restaurants. The food portions are large and very tasty. I had Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour Soup. Both were among the best I've ever had. Don't get spooked by the ambiance. You order through a plexiglass window and food is delivered from a small, one-way, door (like those used at banks). I suspect the area is a little sketchy after dark. Service was quick and the food was obviously fresh. The menu was quite extensive and showed several "specials" and "combo" meals. Prices are fair and attractive considering the substantial portions. I t'll be a staple on my next visit to Orangeburg, SC.

I just can't rave more about their orange chicken, beef/broccoli, and vegetable lo-main. Their food is perfect. I mean they even put orange peel in the orange chicken. Their food tastes so fresh. The veggies in the lo-mein are crunchy and delicious. The beef and broccoli is so goooood! They are an excellent Chinese Restaurant!! I will never go anywhere else. They deserve a title as the best Chinese restaurant in all of Orangeburg county because they are. I have tried all but one establishment. They beat everyone out of the park. I mean even the rice is so freaking good. How do they make rice taste so good. I just love their food. I'm obsessed. They need to be in the newspaper. This place is absolutely amazing. In my opinion there are only two amazing restaurants in the entire county and this is one of them. The food is some of the best chinese I've ever had.

Hong Kong buffet review | Orangeburg, Sc…read more 2034 Columbia Rd, Orangeburg, SC 29118 3.4 out of 5 Stars Hong Kong Buffet - Orangeburg, SC From an influencer standpoint, Hong Kong Buffet delivers exactly what you expect from a small-town Chinese buffet -- and honestly, that's not always a bad thing. The good: Seating was quick, which is always a win when buffet hunger kicks in. No long waits, no awkward standing by the door wondering if someone forgot you. The buffet line was easy to access and stocked with all the usual crowd-pleasers: General Tso's chicken, honey chicken, coconut shrimp, and the familiar lineup you see at most Chinese buffets. Nothing exotic, but nothing missing either. Staff interaction was fine -- not overly warm, not rude -- just there to keep things moving. The not-so-good: This place is definitely showing its age. Seating and tables feel seriously dated, and the lighting is very dim -- borderline "romantic dinner" lighting, which isn't exactly what you expect when scooping lo mein. The restroom was a disappointment: not clean, with a toilet that wouldn't stop running. That's something that's hard to overlook. Food-wise, while it was fresh enough, some dishes leaned a little greasy, which can catch up to you by plate two. The bottom line: Hong Kong Buffet is the definition of typical Chinese buffet food. If you've had one, you've pretty much had them all. It's fast, familiar, and fills you up, but it's not a destination spot or a place that stands out from the crowd. Solidly average -- and that's exactly why it lands at a 3.4 out of 5 stars. @we_stayed_there on Tik Tok www.westayedthere.com

Extremely tough and chewy! The two sparerib tips I picked were mostly fat and gristle - the same with one of the lemon hot wings. High praise for the waitress, though. She kept my table cleared and my drink filled! (I will still come back, because it's a family business, which is important to me.). The owner accidentally gave me $5 too much in my change! He looked seriously puzzled when I returned it before leaving!!!
