He found that the pieces that were at the bottom, with the sauce were a little better, but not by much. He ended up covering it in pepper to get some flavoring. I ordered the seafood fried rice. this was just sad... The fried rice was bland and simple, Panda Express probably has more flavor in their fried rice. But what really bothered me was the "Seafood" the seafood in this "Seafood Fried Rice" consisted of 6 tiny shrimps, smaller than my thumb nail, and 3 EXTREMELY overcooked, rubber pieces of what I think was supposed to be squid. And of course, this seafood was completely unseasoned, tasted like it had just been boiled in water. I made it more palatable by adding various spices and hot sauce from my own kitchen. THE ONLY REDEEMING PART OF THIS MEAL.... Was the Egg Flower soup. It was delicious, creamy, warm, and a lovely texture. The little pieces of corn are a nice pop of sweet flavor. I really wish that there was some good Chinese food in the area, but so far, no luck.

The meals can be hit or miss--it's clear that there are multiple chefs who cook differently. Our family always orders the same handful of menu items and there's not a lot of consistency in the quality, flavor, portions, and freshness of the dinner meals. We know it's a roll of the dice when we order. Much like the quality of the main menu items, the prices are inconsistent. There are always price discrepancies between the online menu, the menu in the ordering app, and the prices we get when we call in. As I mentioned, we always order the same things yet the price is always different and the food quality is a gamble. Despite all of that, we continue to go back because their sushi rolls are some of the best you can get on the west side. Always consistently fresh, flavorful, and always the same price! They've got the sushi operation down to a science, just wish they could deliver that same consistency with the hot menu items. Overall, your chances of getting a decent meal here are still pretty good.
