We ordered two orders of chicken wings. An order of regular wings (4) and an order of honey wings (4). We were charged $17.25 for 8 chicken wings. It was absolutely the worst honey chicken wings I have ever had. The honey chicken wings were undercooked, soggy and swimming in an unrecognizable sauce. The regular chicken wings were bland and greasy. I had placed the order via phone. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to arrive at the restaurant. My coworker went in to pay and retrieve the order. Only to be told the order wasn't ready, it will be a few more minutes. Ten minutes later, the order was ready, however undercooked. My co-worker expressed that the inside of the establishment is out of date and needs improvement. Save your money or spend it elsewhere for a better experience. read more

I dined in, but it's clear that this is primarily a takeout spot. There was some clutter at the rear of the dining area, and my party was the only one dining in the entire time we were inside. Several people came in to grab takeout orders, though. Overall, this feels like a great local spot for flavorful and fresh Chinese food, but if you choose to dine in, the vibe might be slightly off. I almost always get the house lo mein without vegetables and without shrimp. Burns H. swaps between sesame chicken and general tsos chicken. Everything is always incredible! I'm not a huge fan of their style of wontons, but they are still tasty. My lo mein comes in a large enough portion that I can reheat and have it for lunch the next day (and I swear, it almost tastes better this way). I drove to the restaurant within 10 minutes of having this delivered and was told that they don't undercook chicken and i must have made this. The absolute best chinese food in North Charleston. Their food is consistant, fresh and truly delicious - will not waste my money on take out from anywhere else. Is family owned and they are the nicest folk to deal with. They deliver quickly and it is always piping hot. China Garden was a subtle pleasure that caught me by surprise. Their selection of delicious food contains a plethora of Chinese options. Their menu was quite large and I found it very hard to select from their different meals. This is mainly due to the fact that I was ordering for my wife but it did not take to long. Their customer service was superb as well. I was given free food due to ordering a large amount of food. I ordered their pork fried rice which was epic. It reminded me of this stellar Chinese restaurant in Florida. Also I had their Singapore chow mei fun which was not very fun at all. It was kind of dry and bland. I was very disappointed tonight....I got a large shrimp lo mein and steamed dumplings...the lo mein noodles were done too much and were mushy and sticky...it was a smaller portion with very little shrimp (maybe about 12)...the dumplings were good but I've had better. I've been a customer of their deliveries for 7 years. I love them. So many things to choose from on their menu. If you are lucky enough to be a customer around the end of the year, you get a beautiful calendar for the next year. Their egg drop soup, egg rolls, chicken&cashew, and King Tso are delicious. Let me just start out by saying the FOOD WAS VERY GOOD! I liked my Garlic Broccoli, and my companion liked her Broccoli with Chicken and Egg Drop Soup. We had no problem with the food at all, it was tasty, delicious, filling. But to be honest, this is a takeout place, not meant for sit-down service. The tables don't have any napkins or silverware on them, and we saw about 3 or 4 people stop in to pick up their orders or place carryout orders. We were the only folks to eat in. The place actually looked like it might be going out of business because of the lack of decor, the emptiness of the place. Also, when trying to figure out when they opened on a Sunday, the sign on the door said they open at 1:00 p.m., a website said noon, and another website said call ahead. So I called ahead, the first phone number, no one answered. The second try, someone answered and immediately hung up. I found a different phone number and then someone picked up. When ordering, our waitress who looked about 13 years old, but I'm guessing she was older, didn't write our order down, but she got it right nevertheless. What was strange was that my companion asked for sauce for her egg rolls and the girl came back and literally threw 4 packets of sauce on our table and walked away, saying nothing. When my companion went to the bathroom, she said she saw a bed in the back area and a small child was on it sleeping. So, all weirdness aside, this place is very good for takeout, and no-frills for eating in. My four star rating is for the tastiness of the food. For the atmosphere and service, I'd give it two stars. read more

I've never had a bad experience. If you order enough they already know where you live and must recognize the number because the food arrives! VERY speedy service. They always say 30-45mins but it takes maybe 15-20, if that sometimes! Best chicken wings, pork fried rice, bone in spare ribs and the best sweet tea in town. I have used China Garden multiple times when I don't feel like cooking. I have to say they have been going from bad to just plain horrible! Multiple times I have ordered spare ribs on the bone or boneless spare ribs, it has been freezer burnt with a foul taste. Multiple times I have ordered 2 orders of fried chicken wings, One would come mildly dark and the second order would be black!!! In my 18 years experience in the restaurant industry I've never seen such disregard for the use of cooking oil. Obviously they don't clean it or change it like they're supposed to, and mix Chicken and Seafood in the same fry pot. i have lived in Goose Creek sc for 6 years, finally after surfing randomly i found eat24 asked for any chinese restaurants that delivered to GC, and this is the 1 that does. we will order again the fried chicken was fantastic, the crab rangoon was light and crispy my son loved the boneless ribs and fried rice. he don't like any meat with bones. waiting on the hubby to get home to see how he like his lo mein. he thinks the receipe has been lost just the fact that its not pizza makes me happy. read more
