Finally made it to Jackrabbit Filly! Their lunch and dinner menu are slightly different - I decided to stop in for lunch since the menu leans to be individual portions rather than sharing plates. Let me tell you, the lunch portion was still big enough to share! I ordered the scallion pancake which was fragrant, flakey and the sauce was salty. The fragrant vegetables were perfectly cooked with softness and some crunch. The dining room was packed by noon on a Saturday! The server was so kind and offered great suggestions.

Not bad. I like places like this with lowkey casual vibes and a unique menu built for sharing. My husband and I sat at the bar for dinner. We ordered the following: pierogi, fried rice and Sichuan hot karaage (fried chicken). Being a Polish girl, I can confirm these are not authentic pierogi and they tasted more like a dumpling/ravioli to me, however they were still delicious and I would order them again! The chicken was fried nicely and had a good level of spice, which I appreciated. The rice was pretty good for the most part but also tasted like something was missing. I would definitely come back here again to try other things off the menu :)

We tried a number of dishes and everything was great. Shrimp dumplings are a must. Go bills.

This place is amazing. The cornbread was 10/10. I also think the spicy margarita(el guapo made spicy) I had was the best in Charleston. Service was fast and the atmosphere was great. I'll be back soon.

This one has been in my Yelp Collection Bucket List for a while. Finally got here in a Thursday for lunch. Parking was tough but I found a spot maybe 2-3 minute walk away. Not bad. Walked in and was greeted immediately by the Hostess. She was so flippin friendly. Sat at a booth at the bar. Server was there quickly and friendly. They have a team approach to the table service. So it was excellent. Started with the pork dumplings 5/5 Got a combo meal so it came with Egg Roll 4/5 Miso Soup 3/5 - it was barely warm but tasty Sichuan Hot Karaage-Don 10/5 excellent!! Highly recommend

The scallion pancakes were crispy and well stuffed with scallions and sprinkled with sesame seeds. It was delicious. A little on the salty side for me but the sauce was a little on the sweet side so they balanced each other out. The shrimp dumplings was packed with chopped shrimp was also tasty. I finally found scallion pancakes in Charleston.!!!

Asian food traditionalists will think I'm blasphemous for saying this, but I liked the food at Jackrabbit Filly. All the dishes we ordered, from the miso soup and pierogis with salsa macha, to the karaage-don and peanut noodles, were savory and satisfying to eat. The texture and appearance of the chicken for the karaage-don bore more of a resemblance to General Tso's chicken with its battered and crunchy exterior, and it didn't quite have the tender and juicy interior I was hoping for, but I enjoyed the lemon mayo pairing which resulted in a flavorful finish. The Peanut Noodles reminded me of certain iterations of Dan Dan Noodles and certainly tasted fine on its own, but adding the thick chunks of bacon/pork belly was essential in elevating this dish to the next level. The restaurant was very lively on a Thursday afternoon, and the staff very warm and inviting throughout our meal. My drink hit the mark for me, and I found the cocktail menu fun and creative. In fact, I would say "fun and creative" summed up our overall experience at Jackrabbit Filly. Just ask my daughter, who started dancing the entire lunch the moment she saw the disco lights in the bathrooms.

When you walk in here you definitely expect an experience. Red light sections, entrées designed for shareable meals. Flavorful and presented with creativity. Menu is limited however I plan to come back to try the lunch specials at some point in time. If I could give it 4.5 stars out of five I would or an 8.9 out of 10..

This is a difficult review to write.. while I've wanted to try Jackrabbit Filly for a long long time.. sadly it fell flat for me. The vibe ambiance and service here are all above par. Staff were great The vibe was electric and the decor intimate & cozy but casual. However, my four star rating is based on the dishes... They just didn't do it for me.. I felt that they all had the same seasoning.. the vermicelli was different in that it had an aroma of gas... weird. The tempura mushrooms.. felt like the dregs from the fryer... no mushrooms.. The chicken portions in the Karaage was just too big. We also had a Tiger Salad which had such a bitter acidic flavor Maybe it's me... maybe that's how the dishes were supposed to be.. it just didn't do it for me... a shame.

How have I not eaten at JF before?! I feel like I have been missing out. I visited on a Saturday for lunch and sat at the bar. The whole place feels quaint and local, yet refined and classy. First off I love that it's a full service bar and eating at the bar is no problem. Second I absolutely love they sell pitchers of beer. Not many taps, but still pitchers. And it's mostly local beer. I was with my husband and we wanted to try several things and took recs from the bartender who was awesome. We ordered the pork dumplings, the scallion pancake and the spicy sichuan hot karaage rice bowl. And we made it a combo with miso soup and an egg roll for $4. The pork dumplings were SO good. I could eat a meal of those alone. They were dense and flavorful and the dipping sauce was slightly spicy. The scallion pancake was a surprise delight. It was crispy and not too greasy again with a delicious dipping sauce. The miso soup...chefs kiss. It looked like ordinary miso soup but there was something extra that we really loved!! And the egg roll was big and juicy and fried and wonderful. It's a veggie egg roll but don't let that fool you. So much flavor and again the sweet chili dipping sauce left us drooling. Most of those sauces are too sweet but this was the perfect blend and the perfect spice level. The rice bowl was full of flavor!! The spice on this is quite a lot so make sure you can handle heat if you order the "hot" version. But again lots of flavor not just hot. Thank god we didn't order anymore food because this was plenty for the two of us to leave full and honestly we could've had leftovers. We will 1000% be visiting again and fully understand the hype around this phenomenal restaurant!!

Was really excited to try Jackrabbit Filly since there's a similar spot in Austin that became one of our favorites. With that being said, this wasn't my favorite experience. Garlicky Cucumbers: Just okay, but I wouldn't order them again. A miss for me. Beef Dumplings: Best thing we had, would honestly go back just for these. Shrimp Wonton Soup: The dumplings were solid, but the broth leaned too vinegar-forward for my taste. Shepherd's Pie: Good flavor, but zero pork. It was basically greens... and more greens. Sichuan Hot Karaage: Great portion size and interesting flavor. The sauce all pooled at the bottom instead of being tossed, but I'd still order this again.

Decided to finally check out the much raved jackrabbit filly for my fiancés belated birthday dinner after hearing so many people recommend the place! Although the ambiance and food itself was good, we were seated by a VERY loud party of over 8 people making it very hard for me to listen to my fiancé and I's conversation. Coming from a very Asian dense neighborhood in Boston, I found myself saying I had enjoyed more the food from back home at hole in the wall mom and pop restaurants than my dining experience here. Definitely worth checking out but I don't find myself coming back. The drinks and the cornbread are definitely worth ordering!

This place is SO much fun. It has that nostalgic arcade feel without feeling like you've accidentally wandered into a children's birthday party. The whole space is colorful, playful, and full of things competing for your attention in the best way. You can grab a drink, bounce between games, get a little unnecessarily competitive, and lose track of how long you've been there. I also love that it's in Park Circle. There's already so much to do in the neighborhood that Pinky & Clyde's makes an easy first stop, last stop, or the reason you came out in the first place. It feels social without requiring everyone to sit around a table making conversation all night, which I appreciate more than I probably should. The whole concept is just FUN. Not overly serious, not trying to be too cool, and definitely not another copy-and-paste bar. I ordered the fried pork chops with 2 sides. The pork chop breading was falling off and was kind of wet with the grease but it was edible. The gravy was sweet but the mashed potato had a strong maybe garlic flavor that did not balance out with the gravy. The baked beans had an off taste but was still edible. The sweet tea was great! Overall, maybe it was just a really bad day like the waitress told us before we ordered. I hope so because everything besides the food was good. This was our first visit and excited to come back! The building is attached to Kings BBQ for delicious before show bites. We went for their "Golden Hour" and loved every moment. Glad we got there early because the parking lot does fill up quickly. There is additional parking around the venue, if it's full when you arrive. The entrance leads directly into a large bar area, with seating along the whole counter. Basically this area is half of the building so is surprisingly large. They offer craft cocktails, local beers, and wine by the glass. The second half of the building is the stage and seating. Personal space is a premium here as every spot is used for the audience. We saw 3 two seaters tables along the back wall as welk as a few tables in the front row directly at the edge of the stage. Both areas are considered "upgraded" seating/tickets. Use that info when buying tickets. The rest of the seats (at least for our show) are open seating. My suggestion is not to wait too long to find seating once the doors open. Not that there is a bad seat, but I do like to have choices. We had two openers and the main headliner for our show. Everything ran smoothly, with good volume and pacing. They then had a merch area set up after the show, back in the lounge/bar area. This got a little extra cosy but everyone was respectful. We would 100% come back for another show!
