So my first review was deleted Here it is again I've always loved china inn , me and my mom go here all the time. However , there was a cockaroach in the soup . Even though they were nice about it and offered more food for free. It won't change the fact that they have cockaroaches Very unsanitary and I don't think anyone wants to eat anywhere where they have bugs in the food . I would not suggest this place ever unless they get inspected , a deep in detail inspection to find out if hey are infested . read more

Let me start by saying that customer service was the best. Was treated with much respect and were very nice. The restaurant is a good size for the town and it looks okay. The food was not great at all rice was very dry. I got the Number 5 and it was not good my two friends got orange chicken and sweet sour chicken and it tasted like they just put food dye and a liquify sauce over it. I would not recommend for anyone stopping by this town. Will hurt your stomach. To end it I paid cash my friend paid card they ended up switching our receipts and did the wrong transaction. Nothing special. I ordered egg rolls, chicken noodles and chicken with broccoli. I also asked for hot mustard and hot sauce. Important note - if you are staying in a hotel and get it to go, do not order the noodle dishes. They give you a quart size container of broth and put the noodles and other ingredients in a box. You then have to combine them. Not very easy to do. The egg rolls were quite greasy. They are the smaller variety. Other than greasy, they were okay. The chicken with broccoli was bland. I asked for it extra spicy and they did kick it up a bit. That helped with the flavor. They only provided one very small container of mustard and hot sauce. The mustard was gone after the first egg roll. Skip this place - pick something else if you are in the Tulare area. read more

They are always so friendly And their food is delicious. We order 4-5 appetizers with our meals and r they yummy. Lil heavy on the batter on the shrimp. But the rest is perfect. Service when open is great and pickup orders are greeted with a smile. read more

After traveling for 5 days and having sandwiches most days we really craved a hot cooked meal. Customer service was good here . Everything was delivered quickly and if we needed more napkins there was always someone we could find to ask for more. However, we did not like the food. We ordered hot and sour soup and were so disappointed. They added carrots and other vegetables. The vegetables and tofu was cut in long pieces which was so uncomfortable to eat. They should have been in smaller pieces. Also we tasted the hot but not the sour so it tasted really bad. Our 14 year old always orders hot and sour soup so he was expecting something completely different. The carrots in the shrimp and vegetables meal were big and so hard. I will start off with the customer service because we went in near closing time, the ladies impressed me. They were friendly, respectful and attentive. The food tasted amazing very satisfying without the stomach ache or overly full feeling. Everything tasted fresh and not too oily. Dont let the location turn you away, this is good Chinese food and the portions are big so if you go in with kids just share a dinner combination plate. ANDDD they have crushed ice! read more

I spent $60 dollars on such a meager amount of food, that I was actually pissed. All in all, I ended up with about five dollars worth of cabbage, an entire bowl of celery, and unsatisfactory food. Quite frankly not only was there a small amount food, but it was sub par, low quality, and normally Kung Pao chicken has CHICKEN in it. There were zero spices in anything, to the point where all of it was bland, the only thing that did have spices was the mongolian beef, and even then the only spice it had was red pepper flakes. We eat at this restaurant every time we visit my parents. I'm not a fan of it as the food does not have any flavor. The sizes come in large amounts for decent prices. I have noticed that the place is not the cleanest and you can see it in their fish tank. Service is okay. My daughter and i went today. Let me just say that this restaurant was the reason why i opened a yelp app . The food was delicious and fresh, they serve you so much food and i was delighted with the waitresses. Very sweet and friendly. Do i recommend this? 1,000 times, yes. Last night my parents, little sister and my daughter came to eat here. We ate here before but this time as soon as we finish eating and left my little sister wasn't feeling good she started throwing up and having diarrhea. My mom took her to emergency room because she was throwing up way to much. My baby also had diarrhea last night. Today I woke up at 5 am with food poisoning as well. This place is just great. All fresh made dishes and cooked to just the right crispness on all the veggies. I don't even like egg drop soup but I tried it since it came with my meal. It was great: actual clear, almost a cream broth, with egg whites and bits of white potato in it. I got the curry chicken with steamed rice, my husband got the orange chicken with soft chow mein noodles. I gave it four stars because I have had better orange chicken but everything was still awesome. Definitely a great place to stop on the way through Tulare. read more

The wor wonton soup is very good! The broth is rich and flavorful. SERVICE SUCKS HERE! Our server was very rude. She tossed the menu at us and made us feel uncomfortable. Maybe because we're young she thought we weren't going to tip? Idk but she made me want to NOT leave a tip. She didn't refill our drink until we were done eating. The Asian lady at the counter is BEYOND rude. Tried to charge us for 2 drinks when we only had 1. When I tried to correct her she yelled at me as if she was trying to embarrass me.
