    Wor wonton soup.
    Dathan P.

Best wor wonton soup I've had from local Chinese restaurants. Excellent amount of meat for the price. Broth is always perfect. I typically order to-go and timing and accuracy are always correct. The restaurant and parking are always clean when I go. I enjoy their food.

Dinner combo #1 Pork chow mein, pork fried rice, egg foo young, sweet&sour chicken, (wonton, fried shrimp, chicken wing not pictured)

Food was BOMB but the service was rude. That is the reason for the 3stars. When I walked up to the door to get my order the lady instantly said "What!!!" as if I was bothering her. Before I could even say I was there for my order or say my name she cut me off and said "Name! Your name!!!" Idk if she was just in a bad mood that day but it was big turn off. I was hoping my food was going to be bad only because of now she acted towards me but everything was delicious.

Dirty dining hall , bag of used cans next to tables, boxes everywhere, lady in front is rude

I heavily recommend the crispy beef lunch plate. The orange chicken is also very good.

My favorite Chinese food place in Tulare. The only thing that's not great is the customer service.

I wish they would reopen for indoor dining...with that said, I will continue to support them by buying take out. Their food is fabulous.

We were seated almost right away, which was a great start to the experience. We ordered several dim sum dishes, including the Pork Barbecue Buns, Custard Buns, Deep Fried Taro, Pork Siu-Mai, and Fried Squid, and every single item was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The servers were also friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

The target customer demographic in this area isn't generally Asian, so we tempered our expectations before dining here. We were impressed by the extensive menu offerings and after some deliberation, we settled on the Dinner for Two which started with a Won Ton Soup and fried shrimp and pot stickers as appetizers. The entree included sizzling rice wor bar, Peking pork and pork fried rice (we substituted for pork chow mein). The restaurant was very traditional in closing the meal out with fortune cookies. Our favorite due to its flavor was the Peking pork, and we also enjoyed the fried shrimp, pot stickers and sizzling rice wor bar. The only misses were the Won Ton Soup (we felt the flavor of the broth was not quite right) and the pork chow mein (it arrived lukewarm and lacking in flavor but it was an improvement after dousing it in chili sauce). Chinese Kitchen doesn't appear to be located in the best neighborhood, but it is easy to tell that this establishment has been around for quite some time. The best part of our dining experience was the service. Our greeter and server welcomed us, took our order and checked in on us multiple times. We also had the opportunity to chat with the owner and she is very welcoming and helpful. If you're in Visalia and have a craving for Chinese cuisine, Chinese Kitchen is as good an option as any!

But my friends who recommended it they've came but only for the drinks on the Lum Lums side. Hong Kong is the the food side apparently. So I ordered the Shrimp Fu Yung. I got stir fried shrimp with veggies over a clump of breaded onion. The shrimp was over cooked veggies were fine. The breaded onion seemed like it might have been reheated from a previous unused dish. If it wasn't for the gravy it wouldn't have rehydrated. Wasn't this an Egg Foo Yung dish, instead it was a clump of breaded onions. That's how bad it was. This place was busy but don't know why. The other people I was with ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, fried plain wontons, sweet and sour chicken. They all seem to enjoy it. They received a lot of food. But a lot was taken home as leftovers. My friends are also non-Asian and not a big foodie like me. So take that however you want. It's sad when businesses close but to make a highly traditional dish like egg foo yung terrible, that is a sign.
