The tortellini was rich without being heavy, the veal was perfectly cooked, and even the cannoli was outstanding. It felt like a restaurant that genuinely takes pride in its food. The highlight of the evening, though, was Alessandro. He shared stories, made us laugh, and immediately made us feel welcome. When my husband asked for ranch dressing with his salad, Alessandro smiled and said, "Welcome to Kentucky!" I guess he knew right away we weren't locals.
