"Jumbo shrimp." Fits in a spoon.

As soon as we (party of 2) walked in, the greeter yelled at us while remaining seated at a table (wrapping silverwear) saying "2?" I said "yes." She replied "sit wherever you want." We sat, then ordered (me: shrimp & scallops; her: jumbo shrimp). The "jumbo shrimp" was nowhere near jumbo, and was the same size as the shrimp on my plate, which easily fit on a spoon. With drinks, it was $33.88 + tip. By the way, we never... NEVER saw our server after our food was delivered, until she brought the check. When I paid at the register, the manager asked how the meal was. I said "the 'jumbo shrimp' was the size of salad shrimp. He acted surprised, so I'm guessing nobody looked at our food. He added that he was going to complain. Cisco was supposed to have sent them jumbo shrimp. Yeah, right! Again, I guess nobody looked at the shrimp. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, like I do, get it somewhere else.

Fire ofc. One of the people who works here was very nice and considerate of all the customers. I got the steak w lemonade

Hibachi chicken, steamed rice, teriyaki sauce. They'll cook your meal with no butter if you ask!

At the risk of being reductionist... Kyoto's is the best deal on earth. When I was in college, I got take out at least once a week, usually more. To make the meal healthier, I ask for no yum yum and for the food to be cooked with no butter and even though it's a hassle, they always indulge me. If you're there often enough they start to remember you and know your name. The staff is great and the food is fast and very affordable. God blessed south central KY with this place and we are not worthy.

Served free before the meal. No opinion, I don't eat this.

Veggies and rice so good. Always quick and good portions. Cheapest hibachi place in town and not at expense of quality.

Cheap, good and quick food. Great for a sit down lunch but not going to impress a dinner date.

We haven't been there in maybe two months and this time when we walked in it looked all refreshed like someone had come in and redid their tables and they had new menus and it looked really nice. However, what was lacking was the quality of the service and the food. I remember feeling like I was at someone's house because it was very comfortable and family feeling especially by the wait staff this time we walked in and instead of saying pick where you want to sit like they used to some girl sat us over on a side of the room. OK no problem then they handed us these new menus and there was no soup. Usually they give you free soup then some other lady came over with the soup and put it on the table then they took our order and the waitress seemed like we were bothering her. They brought out the food. The quality of the food went down big time. My husband always orders the chicken yakisoba so does my daughter, my daughter also ordered a sushi roll. I ordered hibachi steak and instead of rice I wanted noodles. My husband and daughter said that their food didn't taste like it used to and my hibachi steak (now mind you I had a hibachi steak at a different Japanese restaurant in Georgia so I'm thinking it's going to taste the same.) She even asked me how I wanted my steak cooked and I said, medium rare. I got little squares of very overcooked pieces of meat that looked like they went to the store and bought some stew beef (at the other Japanese restaurant that we went to it was actually filet mignon.) The steak was hard and rubbery at the other restaurant. It was beautifully cooked. Also, my noodles tasted like they were drenched in teriyaki sauce, which I can't stand. Everything was too sweet and I will probably not ever go back there now.

We ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer -- simple enough. But it never came. Halfway through our meal, we realized our server had disappeared, and we finally had to flag down a different waitress. Only then did we learn the order had never even been placed. Even after that, it took more than 20 minutes and still no sushi roll. By the time it finally showed up, we were so fed up we just had it boxed to take home. And here's the kicker: it wasn't even a busy night. Well over half the tables were vacant. There was absolutely no excuse for such inattentive, careless service. A restaurant's reputation rests as much on service as on food. Ichiban may still be known as a Bowling Green favorite, but if they keep operating this way, that reputation won't last. Right now, they're failing their customers in a big way.

Then a P5 Pho Dac Biet for the main. Both the appetizer and the main dish came out in a respectable time. Both delicious and temp hot! Atmosphere was clean in the dining room. A little dim. Perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. Sad part was it does not come with nuoc mam dipping sauce, but a generic sweet and sour sauce. Other that that, an A rating! -P5 Pho Dac Biet. Absolutely phenomenal bowl of pho! Broth was hot, not too sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Was quite surprised being that it's one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Came with the normal Veggies that go in Pho. Do not skip on the Pho! A+ bowl of pho! -Atmosphere. A little dim , restroom not that clean. Overall a B.

I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. I don't think I would come back here any time soon, but for what it is and for the price, it was good but could've been better.
