General Tso's Combination Platter (egg roll off camera)

Amazing chinese food! I'm from NYC, living in Charleston for a few months. and cheap takeout chinese is my life blood. Admittedly, I was a little wary about how to get my chinese fix outside of Ny but China One is everything i could want and more. As good if not BETTER than all my favorite takeout spots in manhattan and brooklyn! The crab rangoon is perfect, general tsos is delicious, fried chicken is bomb, dumpling sauce is on point, and most importantly... their portions are huge. Highly recommend! Anyways, thanks China One for making this guy feel a little less homesick!! :) yum

Stopped in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by the food.. Everyone has their "go to" place for Chinese and if you live in the area I highly recommending adding China One to your list. Had General Tso, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Wontons and Pork Lo Mein. All was preprepared perfect and was delicious!

Chicken lo mien and hot and sour soup was just what the doctor ordered. Would have enjoyed a few more vegetables.

The food was very bland. There wasn't very much protein in the lo mein or in the combination fried rice.

Hi everyone. Hope you are well. I've got a story to share about a local restaurant…read more I ordered pickup at Golden Wok in Nitro, WV today. I brought my youngest daughter with me into the restaurant to get the food. My daughter is non-verbal autistic and makes audible sounds on a regular basis. She was doing this in the restaurant as I was paying and getting our food. The young man taking my order stared at my daughter, which is a common thing. When I gave him my credit card, he didn't look at me. He continued to stare at my daughter. He then addressed me. "Sir; when you come to restaurant, can you not bring her in? She is making random sounds." I didn't say anything for a few seconds. Then he said the same thing again. I let him know that she won't be back, that I won't be back, and I'll do my best to make sure that l tell as many people as possible about this so that they won't get food from Golden Wok in Nitro, WV. The young man didn't say anything, then gave me my receipt to sign. I got my food and left. I'm still pretty angry. When I returned home, I called Golden Wok in Nitro, WV and asked to speak to a manager. I got a manager and let them know what happened, asked if this was a restaurant policy to not allow non-verbal autistic people who make "random sounds" into the restaurant, and, if so, would make sure to inform as many people as I can. The person I talked to on the phone said that is it not a policy to discriminate, apologized, said it would be addressed with staff, and would check with the owner if this was indeed a restaurant policy. I haven't received a call from the owner yet and it's been over an hour since my phone call. I'm don't think I'm getting that call. So if you're still reading this, im asking you to not order food from Golden Wok in Nitro, WV. I will not be ordering from them again. Have a great rest of your weekend.

The fresh Shrimp Chow Mein was so incredible that we were fighting over it, lol. The Beef broccoli was delicious and the sweet and sour shrimp was beyond yummy. But let me tell about their Fried Crab Rangoons. I almost fainted. I think I bit someone getting to the last one. THE BEST CRAB RANGOONS EVER! Seriously I'm not kidding. I like the choices of Japanese and Thai food at the same place. I also like they offer delivery,…read morebut not so happy it's via grub hub which adds to my delivery cost more than if they provided delivery in house. I looked forward to the food. I ordered Kung pow chicken Xtra spicy and specifically stated that in the online form comments. I also asked for a very small amount of sauce in the comments for the mixed vegetable plate I ordered. I was taken back by the $5.69 added service fee and then the added $1.69 fee for something else but not well defined, plus taxes and a tip. The total cost for two meals deivered was $46 and change. I looked forward to good food. The order arrived an hour later than initially quoted. The Kung pow was mushy not crispy as it should be and it was not spicy as I requested. The mixed veggies has extra sauce, not a very small amount as requested. And the sauce was just basic soy sauce mixed with water. Nothing special and somewhat disappointing. I will not order from here again nor even order to pick up as it appears they make everything like an assembly line and anything outside of the assembly line normal is not acceptable. The don't follow instructions so I can't feel comfortable recommending this place nor give them more than 1 star. The Kung pow was thrown out as it was like dog food, my money was wasted sadly. I poured out 99% of the mixed vegetable sauce and ate the oil and soy sauce soaked veggies.

I was really craving a sushi roll and knew I could grab one here. I also got the 2 entree meal…read morebecause I was absolutely starving. I had to go to the mall to get an eye exam and needed a quick foodie fix. It was delicious and huge portions. Sushi roll, 2 entree meal, drink, and yum yum sauce was $21. But honestly, I got enough for multiple meals. My leftovers will be lunch tomorrow. My son loves this place. Usually, I opt for pizza. However, I'll definitely grab some food here again!

I ate here on Wednesday afternoon when they first opened. I got sesame chicken and rice. I sat down…read moreand began eating my food while talking to my husband. Part way through I looked down and realized the chicken was discolored and gray looking. It didn't smell or taste foul. By 315a Thursday I began violently vomiting, diarrhea, headache, extreme abdominal pain, low grade fever. I have no doubt in my mind that it came from there. I'm the only one in my family who ate there and no one else has been sick in my home. I lost 7lbs in 5days. I ended up in the ER for fluids and antibiotics. My 1st red flag should have been all the drinks and crap piled up on the counters. There's no way they can properly clean and disinfect surfaces. My guess they took the leftover chicken from the night before, didn't store it probably overnight and reserved it the following day at open. I will never ever eat here again. Yes, I called the health dept to report the issue. Save yourself and stay away from this place. I'm only giving a 1 star review because it makes you. Otherwise I'd give 0 stars.

At least 2-3 within eyesight scrambling on the bartenders receipts and the circling the heat from the music/video system all night. There's no way they weren't noticed by the staff as well. The service was okay, but the restaurant reeked of ammonia. The edamame tasted old/dry, the teriyaki salmon wasn't bad, the dumplings tasted good according to my husband but he ended up getting sick later. Not sure if it was the dumplings or just the thought of seeing cockroaches as we were trying to have dinner. The people working there were nice enough, but we won't ever come back.

When I first walked in, I thought I might be in the wrong place because it looked more like an Irish Pub than it did a Japanese restaurant. There is the first bar area and then you can go to the other side where the main dining area is. In the back they have an area for private larger group dining, as well. I decided to sit at the bar in the main dining area. The waitress was friendly and helpful in recommending some of their more popular dishes. I decided to start things off with a little seaweed salad. I was surprised with the portions. I've never had this much salad. It was fresh and delish! For my main course, I ordered the Mongolian filet and a few specialty sushi rolls my waitress recommended. Two of the rolls were good, but one was way too salty to eat. The Mongolian filet wasn't what I expected but it was ok. I was expecting the more traditional Mongolian brown sauce, but this didn't compare to any Mongolian sauce I've ever had. I eat a lot of Asian cuisine and I just felt it didn't taste that Asian to me. Having said that, the filet bites were well cooked and tender. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I'd order the Dragon Maki roll again, but I would probably try some different items the next time I visit.
