In less than 20 minutes my shrimp and broccoli with pork fried rice, and a small bowl of hot and sour soup were ready! This is simply the best Chinese food in the surrounding area including Olean. My favorite is the house special fried rice. As the photo below shows, it's loaded with meats and shrimp that is mouthwatering. read more

This family that runs this restaurant is always very good-natured to me. Having grown up in Nyc, the quality is quite competitive with the better neighbor Chinese Takeout restaurants in the city, while carrying the more friendly disposition that often comes with a quieter place such as Cuba. The establishment, familiar Chinese Restaurant flair on the inside (and ample seating), is balanced off with homey feel on the outside (particularly due to the brick steps that lead up in). Highly recommend the Chicken with Cashew Nuts - it's the best I've had anywhere (having eaten at Chinese Restaurants in several different metropolises and a few towns). If you're only comfortable with the more famed classics, the General Tso's is never disappointing. I also recommend their crab rangoon ; ) read more

Love this place! The food is delicious, and the service is super fast. Coming from lower NY where we have the best Chinese food in the country, I was pleasantly surprised (shocked) to find the food comparable. Better than even China Town in Manhattan. Don't know why they're here in this section of the state, and not in the lower portion of it where the money and business is, but I'm very grateful! The no credit/debit card thing is a bit of a hassle, but please remember, this is a business with a lot of overhead in a small town, in the poorest region of the state. The fact that they stay in business is nothing short of amazing under the circumstances. To accept cards adds more fees and bills. There's just not enough people in this area to facilitate it, imo. We order from China Sea at least once a week when visiting from Northern California, and we have yet to be disappointed. General Tso's Chicken is always good, and the soft noodle pork chow mein is good as well with plenty of pork and veggies. But what puts this place on the map for me...is their Wonton soup. The broth is lighter than most we've had, but still very good. While the wontons (dough) is thinker than most, the texture of the dough is perfect - and when broken apart it delivers an incredible tasty explosion of pork goodness. Only disappointment was the front of house appearance - so take out is the way to go. Assuming this little gem is still around, we will definitely be back in the future. read more

And after almost two years of trying locations from Buffalo, Rochester and around WNY I had almost given up. And where do I find it? At China Sea in Cuba, NY. Two stars because while they were rude to me on the phone and didn't take my card, the food was decent. Food was good and in fact the meat swishes had a lot of meat compared to other Chinese restaurants. However the owner is not very friendly. If you can get past his orneriness, the meal is very good and well priced. They do not accept credit cards. read more
