I have been coming here since they first opened over 18 years ago. It's the go to place for delicious Chinese food. The couple that own/run the place are the nicest people you'll ever meet.its a cash only establishment as many of best food laces are. Less overhead they give more attention to the food. Their lo mein is perfect compared to other places that give you under cooked noodles. The shrimp in lobster sauce is so yummy I'd bathe in it.sorry,my fantasies pop out. If you have any food intolerances they work with you. My ex had siliacs,they made her food with a potato starch sauce to accommodate her.ive had the opportunity to try everything on the menu sure there may be a time something goes wrong but that happens everywhere. now that I live farther away I still am willing to make the trip down for some good take out and conversation. The food is always excellent whenever I order from China Top. The staff is very friendly and is always eager to please.

Definitely a hit or miss establishment. Sometimes it's edible, sometimes it's not. Last night we ordered shrimp lo mein which was watery ( not sure why there was any liquid in shrimp lo mein). We also ordered chicken and garlic sauce (which was mainly broccoli with a watered-down version of garlic sauce). In addition we had spring rolls which were good (probably because it's practically impossible to mess up a pre-made food) and dumplings which were not good at all even with the dumpling sauce. The food has gotten even better! Best Chinese food in the area. Consistency is the most important thing for restaurant and I have to say, I'm never afraid if the food is going to be good "this time" it's always good. Oh and they're sweet and sour sauce is probably the best I've had here in the eat coast. But the only thing I would love it if the breaded chicken the use for the general tso and sesame chicken has more chicken, less breading. Other than that the flavors are on point. read more

Love this place. Foods always hot and fresh. The family is very nice as well. Been eating here for at least 4 or 5 years now. They've never messed a single order up. That's all a lot better then any of the other restaurants around here could claim. I'm sure if you're a true foodie or culinary critic you could find something wrong with any meal. We were passing through PA and saw the yelp review and stopped - especially as it was one of the only places open at 8:30 PM. The reviews are truthful! This is a great family-run Chinese restaurant easily accessible from Route 93 in Conyngham /Sybertsville. Orders are prepared quickly and accurately. Our favorites are General Tso Chicken, and we substitute snow peas for the broccoli. The sauce is tasty, chicken is tender and moist, and comes with white or fried rice. Soups such as wonton and hot n sour are good, plentiful portions. The PuPu platter makes a good family appetizer, but be aware that this choice is all fried. The owners are a friendly husband and wife team. Prices are reasonable, especially the lunch specials. Recommend the restaurant neon sign be repaired as it is missing too many letters, i.e., only see "A TOP." You can eat in, but carry out is the norm as this restaurant has little eat-in atmosphere. Such a nice little Chinese place, it looks very generic like every other Chinese place.... BUT, the food is fantastic!! I've enjoyed everything we've ever ordered from here and we order here quite a bit. More of a take out place than sit down to eat. The owners are always there, they work very hard to give you a great product. And they have two young kids who are just so well behaved and always greet you when you come in. This place exceeds my expectations for a small town Chinese take out restaurant. The food is always fresh and hot and done fast. The lunch deals are probably the best thing on the menu. Two people can easily share one of the lunch platters, even though they are designed for one. They give you your money's worth no doubt about that.Most of the menu items are meat products so if you are a vegetarian, while they do offer vegetarian choices there are not as many. You get plenty of food and all for a reasonable price.You also have the option to eat in, but the seating is very limited. I generally do not go for Chinese food unless I know it's authentic. I was in the area and wasn't feeling too well, and needed something easy but not overly heavy. I found this place via yelp and had decided to give it a try. I will tell you that I was very surprised at the high quality of the shrimp and broccoli that I ordered. The shrimp was large and fresh and the broccoli was cooker perfect. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food. China Top is not any ordinary "home in the wall" fast take out, you're getting quality stuff here, excellent portion, and the price is very reasonable. The family owned place are very friendly and I admired their grit for earning a difficult living. Reminded me of my family's own struggles when I immigrated to this great country. Very good Chinese food. Not SF Bay area or NYC quality, but close for your basics. We had tasty shrimp with snow peas, moo goo gai pan, and General Tso's chicken. The meat was good quality, and the dishes' sauces were light and flavorful, not overly greasy. Our meal was cooked fresh in front of us, and the people behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. No matter what we order, the bill seems to be 21 dollars and change. Good, fresh Chinese takeout. Not much of a dine-in atmosphere at all, but food is good to go. Really good hot and sour soup. Everything is prepared fresh with fresh veggies. My default is the General Tso's chicken and I haven't been disappointed. Just tried the Singapore Mei Fun with just pork, and it was quite tasty (a decent amount of curry flavor). Portions are good and even with a small order, you'll probably end up with leftovers. Since it's in close distance to our house we eat there a lot and it's always very tasty! The staff is very courteous and they say hello the minute you walk in. I love the Lo Mein because it's just the right amount of greasy and piping hot. The fried rice is delicious too. Not so much a fan of their seafood dishes though.
