    So funny!

It's a $5.99 lunch Buffet. Been here a few times. Everything and I mean everything was lukewarm- ahhhhh my biggest pet peeve. Panda Palace in Gulfport is always good and hot. I don't get it. I probably won't be back for a while. Should have went to Rancho Los Fuentes or however you spell it. Oh well. Probably doesn't even deserve 2 stars. It's not a deal if you are grossed out.

Great for quick dinners. Good service with a decent buffet option. There's something for everyone and you won't leave hungry.

This is by far the best choice of Buffett in this town. My family and I eat there once a week.

I especially enjoy the coconut chicken, sweet and sour chicken, wontons, and the black pepper chicken.

It was the perfect portion for lunch and affordable to take a family. Definitely recommend if you are in a budget and want to go to lunch instead of spending a lot for dinner. Many options to choose from no matter what your dietary needs are or preferences. We had the Crab Cake BLT and grilled flounder sandwich both with fries.

We went upstairs to grab drinks and hang out while waiting and it was taking a while so I went down to check if they had called my name since I didn't get a text. The hostess said they accidentally marked my name off for a group named "Lisa" and apologized then told me it'd be 10-15 mins. We went back upstairs and they came and grabbed us for our table. We ordered our food and it took probably over an hour for it to arrive. My friend ordered the seafood platter fried hard and she said it was no where near that and her corn on the cob was cold in the middle. They took it back and remade it. My entire group was pretty over waiting and we were considering taking our food to go after waiting about 45 minutes. We arrived at 6:30pm to the restaurant and didnt end up leaving until around 9:15pm. The most we got was a "thank you for your patience" and the bill of course had the automatic 18% gratuity for a large party. The food itself was tasty and I would have given 5 stars here if the service wasn't so abysmal or if they at least were apologetic about it. Anyways, I got the boudreaux bread and firecracker shrimp and both were delicious. My friends that got the seafood platters said they were alright. Some parts were great and others were decent. It's a shame that we had this experience here because this is a place I would have liked to come back to, but I will no longer have this place on my list to consider in the future.

I'm enough of an oyster snob that I felt the need to belly up to the oyster bar and do it right. Amazing HUGE wild oysters (young dude shocking suggested the wild) but I've had some of the farm-raised in the area so I got 6/6. So flipping good and SO huge I didn't need much for dinner and these were more than plenty! Young man's Dad was also at the bar and had a nice chat with both. I should've listened to all of the advice from the locals on Reddit, who warned me that this place has fallen on harder times. The char grilled oysters were funky. I ate them but worried as I ate them. The hush puppies earned a star. They were pretty tasty. The were my favorite thing on the table. However, we asked for butter, and our server gave us packets of butter substitute. Doesn't this restaurant have real butter? The gumbo was fairly tasteless and also, they had chopped up whatever seafood was in there so finely that it all just turned into mush. If there was any seafood in there, I sure didn't taste it. The West Indies crab salad was a shocking disappointment. It was a scoop of crab meat, which they ruined by mixing it up with mayo. That's it. An ice cream scoop of canned crab meat mixed with heavy mayo. It's like they didn't even try. The bread pudding left very little impression. It was a little rectangular square. Our server misunderstood us when we said we wanted it topped with ice cream, and served the bread pudding alongside a bowl of five scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was a very odd dessert situation, but we worked our way through it. Our server was an amusing fella. He kinda/sorta made the evening. Overall, I'm glad I went so I could know for myself. However, I do wish that I had listened to the locals on Reddit.

From there, the blackened grouper--the catch of the day--was the star of the evening: perfectly cooked with a satisfying char and depth of flavor, though unevenly seasoned. It was accompanied by creamy cheese grits that leaned a bit mild and fried okra that, while slightly soft, could have used a touch more seasoning as well. A side of hush puppies was promised but never made it to the table--though admittedly, I rarely indulge unless they're something truly special. The atmosphere was relaxed and almost serene, with only a couple of other tables occupied during my visit, though carry-out orders seemed steady. I chose to sit on the patio, where the weather was ideal and the newly installed fly-deterrent fans did an admirable job keeping the table clear--if not entirely keeping the flies from me instead. Still, the food remained untouched by them, which I consider a success. Service was warm and attentive throughout, rounding out a pleasant evening. While a few dishes could have been elevated with bolder seasoning, the overall experience was delightful, and I left satisfied.
