C3. Sweet & Sour Chicken B3. Kung Pao Beef R7. White Rice

Food: I got the egg drop soup, and sweet and sour chicken. Both were amazing! I love that the sauce comes on the side so it doesn't soak into the chicken too much and make it soggy. The chicken was fried really well and the noodles and fried rice were delicious. The egg drop soup was nice and warm and was a very good starter. It tasted like a traditional egg drop soup and was very good. My husband ate the kung pao beef. He said it wasn't the best he ever had but was very good. It had onions, bell peppers, water chestnuts and peanuts in it. Drinks: We got the jasmine hot tea, thai milk tea and pink lemonade. All three drinks were very good. The jasmine and Thai milk teas tasted like what you would expect. The pink lemonade wasn't as "punchy" as most lemonades which was good for our toddler. Environment: The restaurant was decorated like a traditional Chinese restaurant and was very clean. Staff: Lastly, the staff were all very nice, friendly and quick.

ordered from doordash for delivery but food arrived hot and fresh. the food looked and tasted delicious with very generous portions. unable to review service or interior or restaurant but food is great !

Mongolian beef

We needed dinner we could take back to our hotel room, and this was my daughter's choice. Easy to order from their website and pick up. Everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were large. Staff was a bit harried, but I'm sure they're racing and making orders as they are placed. I had Mongolian beef with white rice, my daughter got sweet & sour chicken, and we both had spring rolls. The spring rolls were very good, and I loved my dish. Her chicken was crispy and tender. Prices are a bit high, but we ate leftovers another meal, so it was fine.

Clearly can see why this Chinese restaurant has five stars-- food here is delicious and filling. My son had orange chicken-- well prepared with white meat and breading, delicious sauce and orange rinds. I had the dumplings and egg drop soup-- Nice area to dine in at, a bit dated but hey, it's functional and we had great service. If you're craving Chinese and carry out while at the beach this is the place to go to- solid quality and tastes good.

Can't really review since it was closed. Had no idea until we tried the door. But good for this business for giving employees Sundays off. Located in strip mall plenty of parking and indoor seating. We'll try again.

Left overs, yum!

Best Chinese in Baldwin county! Singapore mei fun is top tier. I eat here at least once a weekread more

It's been 4 years since I reviewed here, which is my trend I guess, with my last two being in 2016…read more& 2020. It's been my favorite Chinese in the region since I first tried it nearly ten years ago. China Dragon, located in Gulf Shores, AL, is a well-established Chinese restaurant that has been serving delicious Asian cuisine for over a decade. They have a cozy dining area with a few tables, and while I have dined there quite a few times, I do pick ups for my takeout fix on a lot more occasions, like tonight . They now also have another location in Orange Beach, AL as well but I haven't tried that one, yet :-) Their menu features an assortment of classic Chinese dishes. Appetizers like egg rolls and crab rangoon provide the perfect start to any meal, while the restaurant's signature General Tso's chicken, Mongolian beef, and lo mein dishes showcase the flavors and textures of traditional Chinese cuisine. Side note: Interestingly, General Tso's chicken, a dish named after General Tso, a 19th-century Hunanese general, despite being synonymous with Chinese cuisine in America and around the world, has a somewhat surprising history. The dish wasn't actually created in China, nor was it eaten by the historic General Tso. Instead, it was invented in Taiwan in the 1950's by a chef named Peng Chang-kuei, who had fled there with the Nationalists after their defeat by Mao Zedong's Communists. But then it was transformed into the sweet, fried staple of American Chinese cuisine we know and love in New York City during the 1970s. It is one of my all-time dishes when I'm eating out Chinese, and I do not cook it. There is one dish that I really, really like here that is wildly overlooked. It's simply listed on the menu as "Singapore Rice Noodle" which I've had in Chinatown's from Boston to San Francisco but they don't describe it anywhere here. They do a fantastic job with this dish. Singapore Rice Noodles, is also known as Singapore Mei Fun or Xing Zhou Chao Mi Fen, and a popular stir-fried rice noodle dish with a unique blend of spices and ingredients. Despite its name, the dish is believed to have originated in Hong Kong and is not commonly found in Singapore itself. They make it with rice noodles, onions, carrots, and bean sprouts, with generous portions of shrimp, chicken and beef all cooked perfectly. Speaking of portions, they also give you portions they are easily enough to share with two or more people at very reasonable prices. Try it! In addition to dine-in and takeout services, China Dragon offers delivery through its own dedicated drivers, as well as through third-party platforms like Grubhub and Doordash. Bottom line: This place is an outstanding choice for Chinese with an extensive menu, convenient hours, fast service and hot fresh food. Highly recommended!! Open seven days a week with operating hours ranging from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM depending on the day, China Dragon ensures customers can satisfy their cravings at any time. I've been meaning to try this place since it opened and decided to check it out for my birthday…read moredinner this year. Four of us went and we all enjoyed it. Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Food wise we had: -seaweed salad (standard but yummy, 7/10) -spicy cucumber salad (a table favorite, 9/10) -potstickers (another favorite, my niece is ready to return for these alone! 10/10) -chicken clay pot with rice (really good, but I wish there was some veg in there or something? Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.

Nothing too fancy though. The prices were a bit high. I ordered a curry dish. I was not too thrilled about the taste. Everyone ended up taking the majority of their food to go. I ended up paying for the 4 of us,and it was over $100.00. no way was this considered a top class place , more casual. One dish was a seafood one and it had imitation seafood in it. For the price it should have had some real scallops or lobster. It was fake, and a couple of pieces you had no clue what it was supposed to be. Everyone agreed when we left that there were better places in the Pensacola area and much cheaper. The food I'm sorry was not exceptional or anything I'd have to go back to get. ( Rating due to the service)
