The orange chicken was inedible. It was so hard and any pieces you could bite into, were gritty, like it was hours or a day old. The noddles and rice were ok but the seseme, honey and general tso chicken weren't great either. The beef and broccoli was definitely old. it was soggy and gross. read more

The food was absolutely horrible. The chicken tasted like it was from a bucket of bleach. I don't know if this is a franchise and they get their food delivered from the corporate office and they put bleach in it because of rot but I couldn't eat the food I had to throw it away when I got home. The service was excellent. Is the restaurant appeared dirty. Never again. The texture of the chicken was rubbery I've never experienced anything so bad in my 70 years of life. The only reason to add oil to Steamed white rice is to keep it soft when it's old, to use the bathroom you have to go around the outside and walk around to the back of the store and enter through the back of the store you cannot walk through the kitchen for sanitary purposes. They have an A rating from the inspector. Fresh vegetables, they put a late time on the receipt so after you've been sitting there 15 to 20 minutes and you look at your receipt it shows a later entry so you think you're not sitting there as long. Temp is Hot! So that's great! All sauces are sweet. Only plastic silverware and chopsticks. No military discount. Old oil used in frying you can taste it. Only bottled water. 2 stars because they were very nice. I hate to give bad reviews but thats what Yelp is all about right. Well no fountain drinks and that is always a downer for me but the food was mediocre at best. I had honey chicken and it was soggy- i had them cook it more but ahhhh none of it was really anything worth writing about. I habe been to other Chinese and Japanese places in Lucedale and they were definitly better. We wont be back :( read more

We've had take-out many times from Best Wok. The place is clean, people friendly, small area to dine in, reasonable prices. We have never had a bad meal, and they are very good about customizing dish to you're liking. They'll even make things that are not on the regular menu. We definitely recommend them. read more
