Kara age, Japanese spring rolls, Age tofu

Obviously Chinese cooking smh Too deep fry, very unlike Japanese cooking. I had kara age, age tofu and spring rolls. They were all too crunchy. The celery flavor is good as typical cooking, but it makes to not Japanese taste.

Awesome sushi, there's not a lot in that area, and it's convenient. They even deliver! I like the hibachi meals; the veggies are fresh, the brown sauce perfect, and the fried rice had real eggs in it (fresh!), and the shrimp was great quality. The eggrolls are different than a lot of places, more savory and very great. I also like the sushi or noodles, I had ordered from here for years (I live close). I personally love the spicy crunchy tuna roll! Awesome batter and crunch!!!!! They also have RAMEN!!! Made fresh of course, sometimes they run out! Great place and in the 9+ years I've lived close, ordered lots of food, and never had a problem!

Delicious yakisoba steak!

Fuji is one of the few Japanese restaurants in town, but it is one of the best. It is a small hole in the wall, but the food here is delicious. I ate the Yakisoba steak. Moderately priced at 8.55, but it was wonderful. The sauce has a great beef flavor, and it also has onions, carrots, broccoli, zucchini and mushrooms in the dish. I ordered without zucchini and mushrooms and there were no problems altering the order. The steak was well done, but tender. The noodles themselves have a delicious bite to them, as ramen noodles should. The vegetables are crisp and flacorful. I also ordered a side of Gyoza for 5.95. It comes with 5 dumplings. (which I ate too quickly to get a picture of). Gyoza is a steamed dumpling, which is then placed on a flat top grill to crisp up one side. It is served with a side of soy sauce. The beef inside is very tender and the dumpling holds it's shape well. There are a few downsides. Being a hole in the wall. The eating area is relatively small and is nothing too lavish. The dishes come out on paper plates, and everything is disposable from the cups, to the silverware. It's a simple place. The customer service is good, but not exceptional. The best part of the place though, is that they deliver. Typically, that is how I order food from this restaurant. It is quick, you can pay with a credit card and the food comes hot. If you are wanting a quick bite, but feel more comfortable at home, I would recommend delivery. All in all, I give this place 3 stars. While the food is delicious, the decor is a bit lacking. While I don't have a problem with being pretty self serve, I would like to see better quality dishes and utensils. Avoid eating in, to avoid these problems.

Not easily palatable.

Ordered miso soup $1.65, not a bad price, but it tasted as watered down and bland as I've had it. I was suspicious it may have been made with a miso soup packet. Also ordered the spicy tuna roll $6.95, rather overpriced for Wichita, especially at the quality presented. This roll was the saddest example of a spicy tuna roll I've seen, there was a tremendous amount of cream cheese and very little tuna, dillons makes sushi at a quality far exceeding this and that is saying something. Also I should note they do not provide a dish for soy sauce. And ordered a rainbow roll $7.95, average price, quality presented also was subpar. At this point I am not sure anyone at this location actually understands sushi making, I am also regretting my purchase. Btw, I guess they don't feel the need to include wasabi with every roll.

Absolute worst Teriyaki Chicken I have ever had. Got the rice with it and added some noodles which had a weird taste I can't even explain! Save your money and go somewhere else!

The Alaskan sushi is a must try

I always go here for their salmon sushi specifically the Salmon Lovers combo. I haven't been disappointed yet and it's quite affordable.

I love their sushi, I love the fact that they deliver all the way to my home and job, and it's fairly inexpensive.

We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

Service was good, and the place is nice, clean, and has a good vibe. The desserts at the entrance…read morelook so good--you want to try everything. The only downside for me was the coffee; it tasted kind of watery. That's why I'm giving it three stars. The food overall has good flavor though.

A lot larger than I expected--could definitely accommodate larger parties. Very slow for a Sat afternoon.

The chicken and octopus karaage were cooked perfectly. I ordered the Yokohama Black for myself and the regular Yokohama for my son--he loved it. I added extra noodles and chashu to mine, but honestly, their regular portion of noodles is already generous. At most ramen places in my experience, the noodles feel skimpy, but not here. Also, be sure to check out the in-store merchandise! They have plenty of anime figurines, Pokémon card packs, and unique food and drink items. I scored an 11-inch Itachi figure to my collection and picked up some unique Japanese Pokémon cards for my lil man. We'll definitely be coming back, especially with winter already here.

The menu is pared down from what it used to be, but we were still able to find our favorites. Service: Lost a star on this one: It wasn't bad per se, just unprofessional. Though I am sure the server felt it made her sound sophisticated to include herself in the group "Where would we like to sit?" and "What are we having?" followed up with "How was our food?" and "Did we save room for desert?" at this point "we" had had enough and were ready to get out of there. Instead of coming across as sophisticated it made her sound more like a nurse aid at a poorly ran nursing home. "And how are we doing today?" This may sit with a younger crowd, though I did not hear her addressing other tables in this manner. Older persons are offended by this condescending speech. The food, as always was up to great standards, price point was still stable. Service--"We" were not amused.

By the end of course 3, I was ready to get my check and leave. The time in between each course was painfully slow. Next, there was absolutely no thought that went into each course. Everything that came out was convoluted with no flow in the way the courses were presented. It was clear that the chef lacked vision in what he wanted to do and it showed. They had advertised A5 wagyu but what was presented was over cooked deli meat slapped on top of a giant bed of salad or compressed on top of sushi rice. I couldn't even finish the dishes after one bite. The entire time, I couldn't help but wonder why did they have to ruin the integrity of such a delicate protein? Not once but three times. Which brings me to the next course, the wagyu burger patty itself was overcooked and the fondue sauce that it was slapped on made everything soggy and disintegrated before I could even get a bite. This was by far the worst meal I've ever had and I won't be returning. *The best part of our meal was our server who was great and very knowledgeable in presenting each course.
