Finally a Chinese restaurant that I can order food from without getting sick! If you have a sensitive stomach and cannot handle grease or processed foods, this is a place you can safely add to your "safe" list! Their food is freshly made, has extremely crisp vegetables in it every time, and they have *never* messed up any of my delivery orders. 5/5 Cheese Wonton's 5/5 General Tso's Chicken (yes, it really is spicy!) 5/5 Honey Chicken 5/5 Orange Chicken (has a bit of a kick to it and comes with a lot of carrots and broccoli) 5/5 Chicken Fried Rice The fried rice that you have the option to get with your meal is just white rice with soy sauce on it. If you want the good stuff, you will have to order the chicken fried rice (it is totally worth it!!!!!). We first went to China Wok right before the pandemic. We live on the other side of town but after tasting their food it was the best take out in town. I didn't mind taking a 10 minute drive to get good food. But, just ordered food today and first the lady over the phone was super rude. She has no people skills. When I got there she was just as rude. When I arrived home I couldn't wait to eat. But, it is NOT the same. I order from there periodically and it has never been this bad. Everytime we eat China wok we end up happy. Meals are always fresh and hot. The customer service is about what you get at almost all Asian food restaurants. The cashier has that disdainful look representing a hidden thought about the evil "gweilos" He has to deal with but overall it's a great place for carry out or delivery. I've had about 5 different meals and some of the appetizers. I hope to try them all! I recommend the shrimp fried rice. Most places skimp on the seafood but not here. As I walked in and ordered I said, "this is my first time eating here." I ordered the Kung Pow Chicken and fried rice. It wasn't bad but the guy at the front counter was super rude. I've eaten here a few times over the past few years and I feel like each time it gets worse. The fried rice seems like it's just drenched in soy sauce, the sesame chicken and orange chicken looked great and the portions were more than generous, but the chicken was inedible. It had a cornstarch like grit to it and was so tough I had to spit every piece out because I couldn't chew through any of it. Definitely not worth a return visit. read more

I went into the restaurant and placed an order to go. I ordered their menu selection called Happy family number one. The guy taking my order did not know what happy family number one was and placed the wrong order. Afterwards, I could tell I had not been charged enough money for my order so I brought it to the man's attention. I showed him on my phone where their menu has a selection called Happy family number one and that the price of that item was more than I had paid which indicated to me that he had placed the wrong order for me. The guy was rude, dismissive, and told me instead of ordering by the name of their menu selection, the next time I should show him my phone and show him my selection on their menu. Needless to say I told him to refund my money. I have heard there are certain people who work at the restaurant who treat customers rudely but this is the first time I have personally experienced it. Been looking for another place to get my fried rice sweet and sour chicken fix taken care of because of the two chinese buffets here in town failed more times than I'm comfortable eating at now. This is a small time business that's in a strip shopping center. Only four tables with four chairs each there, so it's mainly a grab and go place. With that said, however, the food was good and they aren't stingy on the portions either. Just my order alone had enough for two people and was serves within a few minutes of our ordering. The drinks you pick up and pay for from the refrigerator. There's no fountain drinks, just bottles from the refrigerator. Worst customer service ever. I placed an order online with my phone number and email address. Was quoted 50 minutes for my delivery. After about 70 minutes, I called to check on the order. I had ordered at a hotel and the online prompt never asked for a room number so i figured they would call when they got here. Well they said that they made the order but didn't bring it because there was no room number. They said they would make it now and be there in 30 minutes. I asked if there would be a discount because I had been waiting over an hour already and they said, no because I didn't leave a room number. I left my phone number AND my email. I got a confirmation of my order through my email. So they cant say they had no way of getting ahold of me. Also, its THEIR ordering service that didn't give an option to leave a room number. Our first time ordering delivery from this Restaraunt. Overall our experience was good, we ordered Sasame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Delivery was on time. Generous portion sizes, the Sasame chicken was a bit over cooked but eatable, the sweet and sour chicken was much better and all white meat. The fried rice was moist and tasted good. Excellent Chinese food with online ordering and fast delivery! The bourbon chicken and Mongolian beef are both excellent. They really pulled off the shrimp and chicken with garlic sauce, as well! The shrimp was large and cooked well enough that it was downright succulent. The lo mein/fried rice sides are nice cheap additions to any meal, and the egg rolls are really high quality and meaty, given the price. read more

ABSOLUTELY the WORST take out experience I've ever had! First off I would like to say that I've had their food before after a bit of day drinking. It was pretty good, so I decided that I would order from them again. Usually I would just walk there because it's really close to me, but on this cold and rainy day I decided to just pay the $1 delivery fee. It's fine. I overlooked the menu online with some of my friends and we built a game plan. Let me also say there was 6 of us. All college students and living in a budget. We decided to split an appetizer sampler and beef lo me in. My call was answered promptly by an employee who sounded like he clearly fidnt want to be there. And seemed very annoyed to even be speaking to me. I brushed it off, however, because in my weeks of being here Customer service seems to be lacking. Anyway, I placed my order and my total was $19.56 and the wait time was short. After I had hung up the phone I realized that I didn't ask for any chopsticks seeing as my place was not yet furnished. I gave the restaurant a call back and asked for 6 pairs of chopsticks, one, because it's what we would all prefer and I know for a fact that chopsticks are much cheaper than plastic utensils. You can go to a restaurant supply and get 1000 pairs for around $15. Anyway as soon as I ask I get a resounding NO. the man on the phone says he won't give them to me because I only ordered two things. I didn't know there was a limit to how many people were allowed to eat. Call me crazy but I feel like that's crossing the line. So I said it was more than me eating and I didn't have any silverware. I said they could give me plastic instead of chopsticks. And immediately another resounding NO. Then he says that I can have the chopsticks for an additional $1. Now it's not much but I said no on the principle of the thing. Because it seemed at the point they're just making things up. So I asked to speak to the manager. He tells me no no no you can't do that. Now I'm starting to get really annoyed because this guys just coming at me with nonsense and trying to pass it off as science. I ask for the manager again and he he tells me again that I cannot. I finally insisted and he tells me that he's the manager and the owner. Which at this point I am just not even believing anything that this man is saying. Then he proceeds to tell me that the restaurant is really busy and "Do I want my order or not?" "Excuse me?" He repeats himself. "We are very busy and I don't really have time for this" that's verbatim what he said. At this point I'm so upset I hang up because I'm so angry and I don't want to start ripping into this guy who obviously picked the wrong person to lie to. Two minutes later I receive a callback with the same man on the line. He's telling me okay okay we'll give you the chopsticks for free, Only this time. We'll give you what you want. If you still order so I said okay. Twenty minutes later a very nice delivery shows up to my door and other than the fact that he kept trying to enter the apartment. Most likely to escape the rain for a minute but that's not my problem. Anyway we receive our food and we of course try the sampler first. The "bbq wings" are not bbq at all. They are blackened, salty, and overcooked. Not only that but it was missing the fried shrimp. It seems everything in the sampler was severely overcooked or burnt. It was fine because most of it was still edible and I figured it was retribution for being "difficult". So on to the the lo mein. We actually got combination instead of beef so that was exciting. But that's about as good as it got. The noodles were so mushy they basically fell apart. It was an underseasoned, overcooked, greasy mess! All in all, it was a waste of money. I'm between the lousy service, ridiculous lies, and terrible good. It's safe to say I will never eat here again. read more

The man at the front desk who took our order had the worst attitude and was just down right rude. He looked incredibly unhappy that we came in and talked to me like I was stupid for not understanding which lo mein options that were available. We tried to pay with a Visa gift card but didn't know how much was on it, to which he impatiently responded that they will refuse to check the balance and that we needed to pay another way. I was very unhappy with this service and treatment. The food wasn't that good either, and he didn't even get my order correct. I ordered a chicken lo mein with honey chicken, and I got a chicken lo mein dish, a large container of honey chicken, and a separate side of lo mein.
