Placed order via Yelp app and I realized I was overcharged once I got home-not by much, but still.

I got shrimp fried rice the other night and what a surprise, it had a fried roach in it. Will never go back.

I guess if you're not picky then the food would be fine. Ordered house fried rice. It's low in flavor and boring. Chicken lo mein - noodles way over cooked and like 5 strips of chicken in a large order. few veggies. Also ordered shrimp toast - possibly the worst of all we ordered. Just greasy and NO flavor. I like shrimp toast a little greasy but its gotta TASTE like SOMETHING. Which is my main complaint with their food. Lack of flavor. Beef with onions - beef is like JERKY. Bland, tough, fatty. And the chicken teriyaki is "ok" but not worth $13. My order came to $50 - I shoulda gone to the GIANT and bought a frozen pizza. read more

Ordered delivery from Seamless. Order arrived 2 hours late and cold. Driver didn't even apologize when he made the delivery - he just told me to not order from them in the future - it's too far. It's 3 miles away a 5 minute drive. I called the restaurant during that time, and they claimed that the delivery was late because they were busy. I didn't even tell her my name, or phone number. How would you know who I was, if you had multiple orders? Food was subpar. Sushi was awful, there was no cucumber in the california roll, and their baltimore roll is the same as their california roll. Except $2 more expensive. Egg rolls and fried rice were greasy. Gross. I've been going to this restaurant for awhile now and I've never had the type of service that I received tonight, February 27, 2016. I first walked in and the restaurant was somewhat crowded but nothing extreme. The waitress' name was Cin, she sat me in a corner only to mostly forget me and my girlfriend for most of the evening. The waitress seemed more involved with serving everyone else at the restaurant. The waitress did not even ask what kind of drink we wanted, just proceeded to bring us water, assuming water was all we wanted. The waitress did not ask us how we were doing or anything, made us wait for 10 minutes and then came over and all she said was, "what are you having?" At this restaurant, you always get the crunchy noodles and duck sauce without having to ask for it, well tonight, I had to ask specifically for it, like, "is it okay if I get some noodles?" When the noodles finally came, she just threw the noodles on the table and just walked away. We put in a order of edamame and crab wontons. The edamame came out first that looked like someone just threw a handful of salt on top of it, seriously, we had to turn the edamame upside down a few times to mix all the salt in. The crab wontons came out about 8 minutes later, there was nothing special about them. We also wanted to order sushi, but the waitress was nowhere to be found. We waited 15 minutes for the waitress, still nowhere to be found. I had to go up to the manager in order to put in our sushi. Again, the waitress brought us the sushi, didn't say anything, not "enjoy your meal," or "can I get anything else for you," nothing. Cin just sat the food down and walked away. At this point I was irate, I calmly finished my food, made sure to not leave a cent for tip, and walked out. Like I said, I wanted to see the manager upon leaving, but the manager was also nowhere to be found. As I'm sure he wouldn't have understood me anyways. I've never been so disrespected in all of my life at any restaurant. I will SURELY never return to this restaurant and I warn all of you fellow Chinese food goers to beware of this restaurant and especially Cin. I've had other waitresses in this restaurant who always treat me well. This waitress however, needs to be fired asap. I honestly hope they go out of business. read more

False Advertisement!!!!! any two rolls means any two rolls I don't care for the soup or your nasty salad on your lunch special but if you write down any two rolls and I'm selecting from the ROLL and HAND ROLL menu NOT from The Specialty ROLL MENU you need to give me what I ordered no questions asks other wise mention in your not so clear menu that is not ANY 2 TWO rolls and remark that is only selected items. Arguing with customers not a good look you never know who you dealing with over the phone. I can certainly pay for the items separately but if you show them as a combo and as an special customers are driven to pick those options so dont trick your customers into something that is not accurate EXTREAMLY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!! read more

I thought the egg rolls were tasteless. I was looking for four seasons but settled on sweet and sour pork. I like mine not as greasy as most, but this was as greasy as most. The chicken lo mien was good as was the chicken and broccoli. My wife had Bangkok Shrimp which I requested spicy, and she really liked it. So I guess I'm just a stick in the mud. read more

If I could give a zero star rating, I would. This is my goto spot for lunch during my work week. The customer service is horrible. My experience with the menu is limited. I've only had the shrimp fried rice (which is delicious), the crab wontons (delicious as well)l, and the shrimp egg rolls (not so great). I've had a number of issues with delivery from China Wok. I've actually sat hungry through my lunch break a few times bc I was promised delivery within a certain time window & delivery took longer than promised. Another time, my shrimp fried rice was prepared wrong but I made no complaints and ate it anyway. Tonight I ordered shrimp fried rice & crab wontons and my order of crab wontons was missing from my order upon delivery. I notified the delivery man and he informed me that the night was busy and he would have to re-deliver my wontons. I called China Wok and the woman on the phone responded to my complaint with a very nonchalant "ok?" "What do you want me to do?" That was it for me. I never got my crab wontons either. China wok in the shopping center with giant across the street from white marsh mall has been there forever, it's been my go to sushi lunch spot for years. Today for lunch I ordered delivery. The delivery driver knocked on my door, I opened it enough to hold my dog back and had my son sitting on my couch. He looked me up and down and then proceeded to repeatedly tell me how beautiful I am, repeatedly asked to see my chest, repeatedly asked if my girlfriend is home (I've been in a relationship with a man for 5 years so that part was beyond bizarre) and then stepped INTO MY HOUSE, scoped my place (I'm a stay at home mom and was by myself with my 10 month old son) and then notices my son and started asking if he was mine. At that point I gave him his receipt and closed the door on him. I then immediately called China Wok where I was told by an employee that the reasons for his actions was due to cultural differences and he doesn't know any better. I then got in touch with the OWNER who at first told me that he could not refund my money (which is the absolute bare minimum he could do) he refused to tell me the drivers name because at first "he doesn't know it" and then said its in Chinese (I told him tell me anyway, I'll sound it out and he still didn't tell me) then after finally agreeing to refund me my money told me I should just find the driver myself and shoot him. Never in my life have I experienced something like this. I'm shocked and disgusted. I feel violated and uneasy. Perry hall/white marsh/Rosedale locals, heads up. I'm beyond upset this has happened but it upsets me more to know that it could've happened before or happen again with this driver and/or this business. read more
