    Squid pad thai
    Ashley Y.

Really nice ambiance inside, well-decorated and clean with nicely spaced out tables and good music. It was a pleasant dining experience and the server was friendly and responsive to the call button. The food was not traditional/authentic and what I expected from a Thai restaurant. Apps - thad mun (fried fish cake) was good and spicy. Mom thought it was too dark in color and fried in old oil but I enjoyed it. The spring rolls were tasty in my opinion. Entrees - Squid pad thai was wrong in so many ways. It was watery and salty and tasted nothing like pad thai. The drunken noodles with shrimp also did not taste anything like drunken noodles...super wet and not spicy at all. The panang curry also did not taste like the panang curry I expected - it was yummy and I ate it all, but it tasted like a different dish entirely and was also more spicy than I expected. Nice place to eat but the food was disappointing and probably would not be back.

It is hard to find good Thai restaurants in Baltimore nowadays so I am so glad we found this place! The ambiance is amazing, it makes you feel right at home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing as well. We had the teriyaki dumplings and even my extremely picky eater 11 years old and 2.5 year old nephew loved them. If you love spicy food, you'll love the Thai curries. This place is great, definitely check it out.

We walked into Spice & Dice with high hopes--the smell was... interesting. It hit like toilet water at first, but it may have been the incense burning in the foyer. They do have a cute little waiting area, which helped make the entrance a bit more welcoming (see pic) Our host was very attentive to cleanliness, which I appreciated. He offered to wipe down the table before seating us, especially since the first one was awkwardly placed right by the kitchen entrance. A small detail, but it made a difference. We ordered the papaya salad (som tum), larb gai (minced chicken salad), tom kha soup with chicken, and pad see-ew with shrimp plus steamed veggies on the side. The papaya salad was fresh and tangy and for my first time trying it, I really enjoyed it. The larb gai was spicy, flavorful, and tasted fresh as well. We were surprised it only came with one piece of lettuce. The pad see-iew was disappointing. The sauce was oddly sweet and watery, and it didn't have the balanced flavor I've had at other Thai spots. The side of vegetables was just plain steamed and no seasoning or sauce. This felt like an afterthought. Also, I nearly choked on a shrimp tail, which instantly turned me off the dish. Our server was kind but would vanish for long stretches at a time, making the experience feel a bit disconnected. In all, while some dishes stood out (especially the larb gai), the inconsistent flavors, service gaps, and odd smell upon entering left me feeling like this was a one-time visit. No strong desire to return.

We were out of town and came here for the first time. The manager/owner and the ambiance in the restaurant was very nice. We ordered appetizers, pad thai, drunken noodles, and a noodles dish. I have to say that the food was either a little salty (soup) or needed more flavors to the pad thai/drunken noodles. I wouldn't say it's authentic, but I don't mind coming back because of the service and owner.

This is the best Thai food in the county. The food is consistently delicious and the decor was recently updated. The service is attentive and the table have a radio device to ask for your server. The spice is legitimately hot, I'd start with 2-stars heat and work your way to 5-stars.

My wife and I were dying to try Thai food. My son treated us to dinner here for Christmas. The food was delicious and very filling. I can't wait to go back.

One of the best hidden gems in the Towson area. It's a BYOB situation and they don't charge a cork fee. The service is good and Yelp has a coupon for them. The food is authentic and the flavors just blend so well. A must try if you haven't.

My sisters and I headed here for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but it definitely picked up throughout the night. The most interesting thing about the dine-in experience is their use of "call" buttons on the table to get service. AKA, they didn't check on us except when we got seated and gave us the first round of water. This was frustrating. We ran out of water during our meal and never got refills, despite hitting the call button for "water." We did it once or twice but still no one came around. The waitresses were very busy and zooming around, so it was nearly impossible to grab them. This also posed an issue around dining. Our entire dinner needed to be gluten free for allergy reasons. When we ordered the cashew nut chicken, the waitress told us it would not be crispy because of the gluten free requirement. We told her that was fine. When we got our food, we noticed the chicken was breaded. So, we pressed the "call" button. No one ever came over, we eventually had to grab her ourself to ask. It was actually gluten free as they used rice flour for it (like the calamari). This is not a dig at the restaurant or the waitresses for being busy, but maybe just a note that the call-button system doesn't work that well. We also needed our bill and despite pressing the button, didn't get it until we could flag her down. Overall, the food was good, but I think as a dine-in experience, it makes me want to stick with takeout.

The service was amazing. The food was good. Not the best I've ever had but served the purpose and was enjoyable. The pad Thai had a nice flavor and a lot of bean sprouts. Heavy on the peanuts too. The pad see ew wasn't house made noodles but was good and heavy on the vegetables. We were there right after opening but they had lots of tables and it started to get busy by the time we left. I would go back but I wouldn't run back.

Our service was amazing Nehgi was great. They make homemade soda. We ordered two appetizers, soup and two entrees. Let me tell you the soup came out a little salty and when we told the server she told the chef and the chef told us she was going to make another batch from scratch. The spring rolls are good and the shrimp and crabmeat egg rolls were soooo sooo authentically yummy. How authentic is that and she delivered a new soup that was perfect. This place is a hidden GEM. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and very spacious and clean.

We have gotten takeout from here multiple times, it has been great! It's tasty and there's also plenty of vegetarian options. Eating in was great as well with fast and courteous service. From the stir fries to soups, there's been a lot to enjoy, but the stand out for sure is the CHEESY ROLLS!!! Curry, potato, and cheese all wrapped and fried to perfection paired with the perfect dipping sauce, you'll wish you ordered 2.

Good Thai food can be hard to come by, but this place gets it! The food is authentic and spicy--no watered down versions here. The space was clean and the environment was was even family friendly. The service was fast and attentive. Definitely coming back

Despite it being busy due to it being valentines, our servers were very observant and caring! The food: don't get me started... absolute fire spot to go to if you have the munchies is all I'll say. The Peking duck wrap was phenomenal! We ordered the half duck, and it unexpectedly came with this soup. I don't know what magic powder they put in there but it tasted GREAT. It usually isn't a busy place, but I was still surprised we could get a table peak hours of Valentine's Day without a reservation. Absolutely no complaints here ;)

Excellent evening visit to Red Pepper Sichuan!…read more We had some difficult decisions at first because we flipped through the entire menu and didn't see many vegetarian/vegan options. With the help of the server, we were able to select four menu items. These ranged from excellent to very good. The star of the show was Red Pepper's Mapo Tofu. I loved the garlicky and spicy flavors. They meshed well together. I also ordered the Deep Fried Spicy Green Peppers. I was warned by the server that they were really spicy. She wasn't kidding. I'm still working on them days later because I can't eat too many at once. My wife ordered the Mixed Vegetable Dry Pot. This was very good, although there was a spice in it that I wasn't fond of. About every four bites I could taste it. She also ordered the pan fried vegetable dumplings. We loved these. Each dish cost about 15 dollars so we left with a sixtish dollar bill. But the sizes made this seem reasonable as we took some of everything as leftovers. Definitely fans of this place and we will be back.

Although the menu has quite a few unconventional items, I was a little disappointed not to have found basics I was craving -- shrimp toast and shrimp egg rolls. The egg rolls I got were quite thin, but, much more disappointingly, not at all crispy. I ate them in the car to catch them before they got soggy, but was not successful... soft and quite forgettable. MuShu pork was good, but the 'extra pancakes' did not come with extra sauce. (The original 6 pancakes are plenty btw). The sauce (concentrated, dark, not the typical hoisin) did not go a long way and I wished I had more of it as it ran out half way through the dish. The house lo mein was ok, not quite as flavorful as I've had from other places (maybe less msg? lol). Three Cup chicken I was excited to try after seeing it in all reviews was fine, but I think I'll just get general Tso or sesame chicken next. Over all, I think I'll give it another chance -- trying various items -- but so far, I'm not impressed. The dining room looked lovely by the way, but, like I said, I got carry out so can't comment on the service.

Amazing experience!…read more New Generation Hot Pot was my first foray into the world of hot pot. Essentially you pick out your base, vegetables and proteins and noodle style. Those items are placed in your own pot which cooks in front of you. New Generation also offers a bar with lots of different self serve sauces and additional flavorings. The waitress assigned to my wife and I was very friendly. She took the time to go through the process with my wife and I. She offered many suggestions, answered our questions and was very attentive. She cheered us on if we were debating something and essentially was like "do it". Since it is all you can eat, she kept coming back, checking in and taking additional orders from us. The prices were not cheap but considering it is all you can eat and they have some ingredients that are a bit atypical, I didn't mind paying the price.
