Lost my spare key for my 2018 Mazda CX5 so I thought I would save a few bucks and buy one online and have it programmed. Buyer beware when doing so. I called "The Key Man" who asked just that, "Did you buy one on line?". Long story short spare key bought online could only be programed for 25% of what I needed and was just limited to starting the car, no door locks, automatic hatch or panic button . Eddie was cool and patient with trouble shooting bad key fob. I asked if he had another key fob we could try which he did. After a quick program of a OEM key fob I was good to go and I bought it for reasonable price. Save yourself the hassle and call Eddie or Kevin first. Eddie from Chino Locksmith posted an ad on Facebook to replace car keys. My car was not responding when I put the key in. Eddie came out and said that he first needed to run a test to see if the car actually needed a new key. He asked me if I had jumper cables. I did so I got them for him. When I came back out 5 minutes later the car was running. He told me to let it run for 30 minutes and then we'd be good. He said the key we had was fine. My car just needed to be "reprogrammed". He proceeded to tell me he was charging me $250 which seemed ridiculously high to me and I never authorized him to repair my car but I paid it. After 30 minutes I turned the car off. When I tried to restart it, it would not start. I called Mercedes and told them what happened. They told me that what he said he did didn't make sense, that all he did was jump it and that I probably needed a new battery (which I did). I called Eddie and asked for a refund. He refused to refund the full amount and said the best he would do is refund $75. Do not use this dishonest company. I'm sure if I was a male this would not have happened. read more

I was desperately reaching out to local 24 hour locksmiths on Valentine's night after someone broke into my mom's home. I couldn't leave until I secured the doors and it was getting late. All the other guys couldn't even help me. Eddie had Steven call me and Steven spent about a half hour on the phone with me sending photos back and forth until he could explain to me how to secure the doors because it was very complicate, and he did it all at NO charge!
