I've always had a great experience at this location, but today the staff went above and beyond. I work with a non-verbal young man with Autism and Chipotle is his favorite place to eat. We stood in line and as we got up to order he became overexcited and started screaming, so I walked him out of the restaurant and to the car to calm down. As we were walking to the car a young man who was a Chipotle employee came out and offered to take our order there and get it ready ahead of time so we didn't need to wait through the line inside. extremely sad and disappointed because I love chipotle I decided to go in about an hour ago and the line was to the door and there were people frantically running around. I decided to wait in line and waited for about 30 minutes. I finally made it up to where you order food and there was only one girl making food and one cashier who was frantically running around on his personal phone not even taking orders letting the line collect which isn't good for Covid. She only gave me a little bits of each item since almost all of the buckets were empty of food which I have noticed very often. And the cashier took about five minutes after my order was actually made to check me out. I feel as if they are way too short staff to even be open they need to hire more or it will be like this constantly. I love chipotle's food but I am trying to figure out why they even have online ordering. Last two times I did online ordering, food was late, and it was not just a few minutes either. All the people in line got food and were gone before I even got my order and I was there only a few minutes early. Tonight's food was WAY smaller portions that normal. The manager questioned why I was upset and wanted a refund and when I told her, she raised a brow and said nothing. THEN (this is where it gets good), she asks for the card to put our $$ back on, and CHARGES US a second time!!! This Chipotle has outstanding staff! There is almost always a line but it seems to always move unless they bog down with call in orders. But otherwise they will do their best to get you through the line. Always big portions. Visit between 6 to 8 pm seems to be busiest times. read more

This will be the last time I go to this Chipotle. I only use this one because it's the closest location. After my last experience I think making the 20 min drive out of town is worth it. This burrito of mine touched so many hands in the prep line, no wonder I got food poisoning. Service is horrible, if I have to ask for more rice off the start, I don't have confidence in the rest. I picked up Chipotle for my husband and three kids. Once we got it home my husband found a piece of chewed up gum in his chicken fajita bowl. I usually have a high threshold for this type of thing, however this put me over the edge. Sometimes you wish you had the option to give zero stars and this is one place. We will start off with my experience today. I go in after placing a online order and wait over five minutes and have at least 5 employees walk by before anyone asks me what I need. The only reason they did notice me is one girl was making a burrito and decided to look up and acknowledge me. I have placed online orders in the past and either I have had them make the food wrong order they completely ignore me at the register and I leave and tell them to keep the food. Sometimes it does not even make it to this point since this location is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS out of something. Rice, chips, meat, soda, etc. it is always something. I think the management here is more incompetent then the staff. The last time they ran out of chips and they told the manager (Sorry I meant yelled it out to her from behind the counter), she walked in the back and started yelling about what a bad worker the girl is and how could they be out of chips by 7PM and she worked for 5 hours just making chips. So if you are bored and need a bite to eat, stop by and watch the show but don't count on them having what you want. If you feel like dessert after, stop by Dairy Queen on 23. Slow lines!!! Unbelievable bad service. I just left there with nothing. I walked in and there were 15 or more people in line. The line was not moving because the staff, with a manager right in front, worked on filling faxed orders while making everyone there with cash in hand wait for service. Why would you give preference to an order for a person who hasn't even arrived yet? They need to find some way to have a way to fill these without tying up the line and making everyone wait. The worst chipotle I've ever had. My chips were OLD, tasted burnt, and almost broke my back molar while trying to eat one. The guacamole was also a disappointment. Even the rock hard chips broke from the uncut avocado that was my guacamole. The service was unprofessional. I was given much less than a full serving of meat. A huge handful of lettuce thrown on my burrito. No time or care was put into the making of my burrito. The person was at the register did not ask if I was dining in or carrying out and assumed I was dining in and charged me the dining fee. The charge was not reversed. I left with a burrito filled with mostly lettuce and inedible chips. I got my food at 2:15 pm, it's 9:30 pm now and my tooth still hurts and I'm unable to chew on that side. This is not the first time I've been dissatisfied with my experience at this location and I regret ever giving it this many chances as I have. HORRIBLE Chipotle location. Save yourself the frustration and visit Lewis Center. The rice and chicken had no flavor, as if the seasoning was completely forgotten. I am a longtime fan of Chipotle, and prior to the opening of the Delaware restaurant, my family and friends and I made it a personal mission to wear Delaware out with our talk about Chipotle. We consistently answered any and all newspaper polls with some variation on why Delaware should get a Chipotle. It was silly and fun, and while I don't know if it had any direct effect on the opening of the Delaware restaurant, Delaware did get a Chipotle, so in a sense we were victorious. Unfortunately, it made little difference, because the Delaware Chipotle is an anomaly when it comes to Chipotle restaurants. We actively avoid it. The customer service and management at the restaurant is so poor that I prefer driving an additional ten miles to visit the Lewis Center location farther south. On the rare occasion I do visit the Delaware restaurant (I work 5 minutes away, and there are very few decent restaurants nearby), they consistently mess up orders. Something is always forgotten (salad dressing, salsa, chips), something is not prepared when I arrive there late to pick up my carryout, something is not ready (no rice. Literally. No. Rice. Cooked. In the restaurant. At 3:30 in the afternoon, not near any mealtime, when the restaurant is empty). The employees are standing slouchily around, confused at the sudden influx of two or three small groups of customers who end up creating a line that reaches to the door simply because no one is ready to abandon their conversation to take orders. Or cook rice. Or fill bags of chips (which are oddly enough always stale or undercooked at this location). I don't know if these restaurants are in different regions when it comes to corporate oversight, but the Delaware location needs something akin to an A&E style intervention. I write this email as the result of consistent, repeated problems. I can ignore one bad experience - everyone has an off day. What I can't ignore is the fact that I have to drive out of town to find a Chipotle location where the employees take their job and their customers seriously, and manage to make food that is equal to the quality that I've come to expect from Chipotle. Your Columbus locations are fantastic and I've had stellar experiences in Beavercreek, Mansfield, and Jeffersonville, among others. Visiting the Delaware Chipotle is much more similar to visiting a slightly abandoned and understaffed Taco Bell at a desolate highway exit at two in the morning. read more

2 people working the line aren't wearing hair nets or hats. One of them had something happen to her pony tail and had another worker re-tie it while still on the line. Then the worker that was tieing her hair walked off the line past the hand sink and got on her phone. When she was done on her phone, she walked back into the prep area without washing her hands. Overall I had a pretty tremendously bad experience at this chipotle. First of all the line was out the door it was awful I had to pee super bad on top of the long line. Once the line proceeded to move SUPER SLOW I couldn't take it anymore so I peed my pants right as I was getting close to the front. The employees gave me a terrifying look which made me feel very unwelcomed. They started to evacuate everyone for a puddle of pee like seriously. Anyways after the cleaned that up the finally started to take my order as I was saying I wanted a bowl the guys said he could not hear me.
