I go to this Chipotle often (not sure why), but they're never consistent on their servings, I'd say 80% of the time they give small portions of everything (especially protein) , the order I received yesterday I was able to pull the protein out and it was smaller than a golf ball size, this isn't just protein, but rice and any other selections. Outside of the small portions the place is clean and relatively quiet. I'd like it if they'd just be consistent on their serving sizes, if it's always small portions that's fine, then customers will be aware of what they're getting, I know that's probably impossible since "younglings" are slopping the different sides in. But for some reason I always feel like i get cheated eating at this place. read more

Why is this location soooooo bad? I am such a huge Chipotle fan but like others here I regularly drive an extra twenty minutes through heavier traffic to go to the Chipotle in Lewis Center. Last night I was on a tighter schedule so I ordered pickup for 7:15pm from the Delaware location. I arrived at 7:10 and proceeded to wait (and inquire every ten minutes) until 7:45. There were some six or seven employees serving fresh food to incoming customers but no one could tell me when my 7:15 order would be ready. They just kept saying "it's coming." It wasn't even anything insane! Just chicken tacos! Finally they hand me my order at 7:45 and I rush home to find it is missing over half the ingredients (lettuce, cheese, salsa, corn) and the portions were incredibly tiny. Oh my god, how do they manage to be so terrible? They are just the absolute worst location I've been to. read more

Theres a lot of problems here. Theyre out of basic ingredients pretty often, the service is bare minimum, and it is terrible to doordash from. It is amazing how many times I go to pick up an order and they simply don't have it in their system when doordash told me to go there. It isnt any use asking for help from the workers. I asked a worker if my order was being worked on and they said yes, and I waited 25 minutes and nothing came. I just left. I usually just leave at this point when an order doesnt come out because asking for help does nothing. I've never had any issue like this at ANY other store. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My wife and I got in there maybe 3 to 5 mins early to pick up our online order, that was supposed to be ready at 6:45. The "manager" on duty then starts yelling at the cashier, telling her that it's not ready and we shouldn't even be there. Then, on top of that, she tells the girl wrapping my burrito that it wasn't her fault for not being able to wrap it, it was mine for requesting double meat. Bad thing about it is, she talked about us as if we weren't even standing there. It was embarrassing, and infuriating. Everyone in line was wide eyed, completely shocked by her unprofessional attitude. On top of that, the rice was so under cooked that it was crunchy; they put extra sour cream on my burrito, when I had requested none. Everything was just terrible. This is probably one of the worst Chipotle's in all of Columbus. We received a bunch of free burrito coupons due to a huge error that this location made when we ordered catering. We've been going back over the course of several months, and I kid you not, the food is terrible each and every time we go. They don't seem to know how to properly manage their food line.. When they run low they attempt to give super small spoonfuls of rice and meat and then ask, "is this good enough?" If you have to ask it's probably not. The staff is different every time we go, which to me indicates that they can't keep anyone there. The chips are usually stale, the facility seems dirty, and more often than not they are out of sauces (green sauce, etc). Now that our free burrito coupons have been used, I would rather drive an extra 20 minutes to the next closest chipotle than ever step foot into this location again. read more

Having not visited a Chipotle since my college days, I dropped in here a bit ago with a coupon and gave a carnitas burrito a try. As with all Chipotles I've been to, the food isn't something I'm going to be dreaming about, but it does taste pretty good. A "make your own" style restaurant, customers pick whether they want a burrito, taco, bowl (no carbs), and I think a salad, select a type of meat, and then request various toppings and salsas. I recommend the mild corn which, though not spicy in the least, has a nice sweet flavor and chewy texture. The meat was decently seasoned and juicy, and the vegetables tasted fresh. I also enjoyed the chips, which are tongue-tingling-ly salty with a hint of what I think is lime. Prices are....well, they seem high for fast food, but the chain advertises it uses local ingredients and such and prepares them fresh, something that is never cheap. And you certainly do get a lot of food for your money. I definitely was no longer starving when I left, even though I took most of the chips home for another day. However, I always have some trouble paying $7+ for a meal in what feels like a sterile, fast food Ikea warehouse, and I would never order chips at $2.50+ if I had not had a coupon. But, to be fair, I'm cheap and not a big fan of that minimalist decor that's all in vogue right now, or the super bright lighting common to Chipotle stores and all the other trendy spots. Staff makes up for what the atmosphere lacks, and is the reason I am giving the place a star more than I normally would. The night I went, at least, the folks on duty were exceedingly friendly and helpful, happy to accept the coupon for free chips and get me whatever I needed to enjoy them. Kudos there. In all, if you're hungry and on that side of town, it's not a bad place to stop in. The quality and taste are definitely miles better than Taco Bell, even if the price is higher. Of course it's about as "authentic" as Taco Bell, but I'm pretty sure they are going for "Mexican inspired" rather than "authenticity" anyways. read more

I work 4.6 miles from this Chipotle, and 4.7 miles from the one in Lewis Center. (I figured it was about equidistant, but I just checked to be sure.) I've gone to this one the last couple times because the traffic is lighter. Today I did an online order for six people. This was for a "lunch and learn" with my team. Cashier was friendly enough, and the food was ready at the promised time. I drove back to work and laid out the food, and guess what--only five meals. The only good part was MY meal was missing and my team was able to eat. Honest mistake. So, in front of my team, I called...on speakerphone for all to hear. Ironically, I was conducting a meeting regarding customer service. Let's test Chipotle's! The manager was too busy to talk but relayed I could get the meal replaced at any time. That's reasonable, but not awesomeness. I'm not trying to get more than I'm owed, but look -- I'm now miles away, stuck in a meeting, and without lunch -- while having to deliver a PowerPoint deck. I think at minimum, the cost for the missing meal should have been refunded to my credit card, or if that's too much hassle -- a compensation for the missing food, plus something extra (one more meal?) for the trouble. I won't bother to darken their doorway again to get my replacement meal, and will go south next time the mood strikes us for Chipotle. It will be worth your time to drive an extra 20 minutes to another Chipotle. Your money at the Delaware location will get you terrible customer service and ingredients that look old and spoiled. Portions are less than adequate and they are always out of a major ingredients. Today they were out of sour cream and lettuce. Every couple months I will give this location another try hoping the high turnover would bring in better staff. I had pick-up at 7, I swore I'd never step into this chipotle again after the HORRENDOUS opportunities I've given, unlucky for me I ordered on-line to the wrong chipotle. Pick-up was 7 pm, I was five minutes late because of this. Even more unlucky my order was "lost". It is now 7:45 and they are still working on my order. 20 minutes in, they came out and asked for the name on the order, I knew I was in trouble. I love chipotle, but fool me once shame on you, fool me FIVE times shame on me. I'm done with chipotle because of this one location. Whomever is the GM or manager should be fired. I have been to this Chipotle several times and never really had a problem. One morning we decided to grab some lunch on our way home from church. It was still a little early but I thought Chipotle opened at 10:30. We got there at 10:40 and the door said they opened at 10:45. The door was unlocked so we went inside. We were told they weren't open yet so we had a seat to wait. We were then told we couldn't do that. Seriously?? It was only 5 minutes before they opened. Before I get into what I actually think of this chipotle, let me explain my last three experiences. I've ordered online the last three times I ate here. All three times my meals were prepared incorrectly, missing items and the quality of the ingredients were sub-par by far... The first two visits, they forgot my son's fruit and milk in the kids meal and mixed up salsa on our bowls with hot salsa. Both times they have offered to put my name on a list in store and said my next meal would be free, so before today on Monday third visit, I had two free meals. This doesn't work for me because we grab Chipotle on the way home from work to save time and it's just inconvenient to go in and wait for a free meal. (I would prefer to get what I order with the quality like any other Chipotle across the country). So, tonight on my third visit, my meals weren't ready when the website allowed me to say when I wanted them; and by the way I don't order the kids meal anymore since they never give me the whole thing. The normal inconvenience of a smaller bag than the bowls and the bowls leaking through the carry out bag onto the car floor was as always, consistent. When we get our meals home we open to find that our bowls were made differently as the meat was on top of everything else and there was hardly any on the bowls compared to a normal Chipotle. The chips we got were greasy and stale and my wife found the avocado stem in the guacamole. I don't want free meals from any restaurant as restitution, I just want my order and food prepared properly and like I order. My advice, don't go to this Chipotle restaurant. Goto the Walmart behind it and get a lunchable, it will be a better experience and probably better food than this Chipotle! read more

I don't understand how this Chipotle is still open. It is consistently so terrible and oddly deviant from every other Chipotle, which generally seem to be mostly the same from one location to another. I've eaten Chipotle in a handful of states and it all tastes like Chipotle, except for this location, where it tastes like nothing -- and that's on a good day. The rice is consistently unseasoned and/or undercooked (rice should not be hard). The chips are always stale or burned. Key ingredients are always missing, the staff always seems confused. The chicken has no flavor. The steak is all fat. It's Chipotle -- they don't really do anything that complicated, and yet this location can't even manage that much. I don't know what would help at this point. I refuse to go here after my last tasteless bowl (literally tastes like when you have a cold, except I didn't). I love Chipotle and visit the Lewis Center location often, and it's frustrating to not have a location closer to home, but this restaurant is about as close to Chipotle as Wendy's -- except Wendy's tastes good. read more

Used the Chipotle app to skip the line. I was on time to pick up my food but it wasn't ready. My order was still posted on the board. The cashier did give us free drinks for the inconvenience. I had a bag of chips with our order. When I got home the bag was barely filled with crumbs mostly. My daughter's kids meal comes with a very small bag of chips. Her bag had nothing but crumbs in it. This location still hasn't gotten it together. We will not be back! I will stick to going to the one in Powell. It maybe a longer drive but at least the quality is a lot better.
