Though I find myself ordering Chipotle through third-party delivery apps most often, this is the one I frequent the most when I am up for it. Most of the time, they are pretty on point. A couple of times we've ordered to-go (or through the apps), we'll be missing a salad dressing here or there, or it won't be packaged the best. That being said, that is the *only* issue we've ever had with this location. As far as Chipotle's go, this one has the same fresh ingredients and bold tastes that you'll find at their best restaurants. This place gets pretty busy, but they are super quick and I never have an issue with mixing up orders or having to wait. My go-to is typically a salad (that dressing is so good), or a burrito bowl with barbacoa (or fajita veggies when I'm not feeling , rice, beans, green salsa, pico, and that roasted corn salsa that I crave pretty often. Chipotle has come a long way after staring their first restaurant in Denver, CO. They are opening a lot of new restaurant and I am sure they are making sure all of their locations are maintaining excellent quality of food preparation and serving. Chipotle is my other go-to, healthier, quick food restaurant (besides Jimmy Johns). It is a great place to get Mexican on the go that is tasty and healthier. Chipotle's corporate policy is that they do not use GMO food and most of the meat is organically raised! I can definitely tell the difference because their meat is great. Here are the meat options for their entrées: steak, chicken (which has a little spice to it), barbacoa (shredded, marinated, spicy steak), and carnitas (shredded, seasoned pork). Chipotle is also vegetarian and vegan friendly!!! They serve organic tofu call sofritas. Also, all of their tortillas, salsa, and chips are vegan!! Here is more info from their website: "Our Sofritas is vegan and vegetarian approved. Vegans should avoid our meats, cheese, sour cream and our chipotle-honey vinaigrette. Our tortillas, vegetables, rice, beans, salsas, chips and guacamole, are vegetarian and vegan. As of March 2024 - evening take out, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, as soon as I walked in there and saw all the trash on the floor that should of had been a sign for me to walk out, I counted 5 employees, 1 on the register ( his hair was all over his face, or dreeds, I couldn't tell, I could not see his face, he was wearing a cap and all that hair was coming all out, it just looked un sanitary, so then guy # 2 he was working by the meat area, same thing long hair/dreeds, don't they need to use hair nets? We were passing through Des Moines, traveling. Since the only option was carry out due to this week week 8 of COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot evaluate the restaurant, we can rate some great food which they prepped very quickly. I've been here a couple times and the staff that I've encountered I've been really nice and worked hard to make sure you get what you want one time I came in very late and it should have been like 5 minutes or 10 minutes at closing but they didn't care and made sure I got the kind of food I wanted. I think in these days of fast food restaurants it's really difficult to get good staff so kudos in the owner for doing that. I'm more of a street taco guy but the ones I had here we're good the lettuce was fresh and the cheese tasted good and the sauce was fine. As I say many times on these reviews it's about expectation and if you have reasonable expectations you won't be disappointed and you'll get the kind of meal that you think you should in a strip mall kind of taco place. the other thing worth noting is a try to get mostly organic meats and food which is nice. This may be a biased review because Chipotle is my favorite burrito restaurant of all time. No other establishment comes close to their burrito quality. I have had Pancheros, Qdoba, Fighting Burrito, etc and they are not as satisfying to me as Chipotle. I first had Chipotle in college and have always went back ever since. I love Chipotle! My personal opinion is that Chipotle's burritos have a lot more flavor then their competitors. I have been to multiple locations and this location gives out the largest helpings in the metro. Chipotle like most other build a burrito stores gives you your choices. You get to choose between the different meats chicken, steak, pork. You choose the rice brown or white. You choose the salsa hot, medium, mild, corn. You choose the extra toppings cheese, pico de gayo and so on. If you are going to pick a build a burrito store to go to I definitely recommend Chipotle. read more

Not only is this location my go-to Chipotle, its become my number 1 choice for whenever I crave Mexican. Local competitor Abelardos had a pretty steep price increase and believe it or not now runs you more than the fair 6.50 that gets you admission at this establishment. Chipotle simply can not be beat in terms of portion, quality of ingredients, and price. This location unlike the one in my home town does not throw down skimpy portions. Some of the bowls that I have taken home have been enormous. Sometimes I eat 1/2 for dinner and 1/2 for breakfast. You can taste that the meats have minimal fat and are of a higher quality when compared to Abelardos and Fernandos. Many of them are organic or raised at a higher standard than conventional meat. They pull off little things that show care going in to the food, such as the steak actually coming in at a true med-rare. Sometimes I make things healthy with options like brown rice, fajita veggies, and a salad configuration (which gets kinda watery). Staff is attentive and does an admiral job dealing with rushes. Cons: They stopped offering limes, only lemons Guac upgrade is too expensive (but all other salsas are free) Pulled pork is still out as of early feb and I miss it. read more

So appalled at how I was just treated I want to cry. A new girl was on the line and I ordered steak and carne asada double meat. What she heard because she was new was carne asada and double steak. So she accidentally over portioned me. No big deal but the African American girl next to her with a poofy ponytail said "that's triple meat we can't give that shit away for free!" She pulled it off the line and threw it away even though I shouted after her "hey a cow died for that I'll pay for it!" She proceeded to ignore me and wasted that meat. The manager working the Togo orders and cash register who was pale with red hair heard and saw that I was physically upset said nothing. This is not the chipotle I'm used to. I've never heard curse words been ignored and walked away from or had a manager not try to resolve an issue honestly I'm usually the laid back person that if someone messes up I'll just eat it I really don't care that's why I was willing to pay for the mess up. That's why I'm posting a comment because my boyfriend and I travel the country and eat chipotle 5-6 days out of the week and have never received such horrible service. The employee made my burrito with a large amount of rice and minimal steak. At first he grabbed a spoonful but then gently rake about half into the burrito and returned the other half to its previous home. The meat that was added somehow found itself all in one small pocket of the burrito and resulted in a 7/8th rice and salsa burrito. Restaurant was very clean and so was its bathrooms. read more

Going into the establishment and being greeted on a professional level is the only reason I have 2 stars on this review. I made an order with their delivery service today and had the worst experience ever. First problem is that they messed up my order and forgot a portion of my order. The way they handled the issue was completely unprofessional. Knowing that they messed up my order I asked them to deliver the rest of the food and was turned down saying they were unable to contact the delivery service for this. I proceeded to ask for a refund and they are unable to issue a refund for the portion of food they forgot. I then asked them if they had a voucher for me to pick up after work and they were all out of vouchers. Their only resolution was for me to leave work and pick up the chips and queso that they forgot to put in the bag. They offered that I reach out to customer service to find a resolution which I called turned out they were closed and had to email them to get anything accomplished. Long story short I was shorted nearly $4 for this service to boot my food was cold when I received it even though they are across the street. They did not look to see when the delivery driver was going to be there and it had been sitting for 40 minutes.
