Tried this location multiple times since they opened, they have never improved. To top it off they don't remedy their mistakes properly. Poor management and bad food. Ordered a chicken rice burrito bowl..chicken looked dried out they gave very small portions of the pinto goo and the rice was also gooey.. and the chips were (I don't know how this is possible) oily AND stale. The guacamole was watery almost and bland. And the tables are dirty as the floor. Chipotle corporate should take a look at this place secretly and get the full experience . Chipotle in mchenry has always been my go to..I thought this place would be "not that bad" I was wrong. This place has a drive through...maybe they shouldn't I would not want to be driving discovering this food in a dark car. Underserved and overcharged. I was underserved steak and rice forcing me to buy double meat and then the server attempted to tell me double rice would be an extra charge which it is not. My steak was severely dry and unevenly cooked while eating my bowl there were several bits of steak that I had to spit out. I usually am not a picky eater but I expect much more out of such a fine establishment, the quality of service at my local chipotle has been on a steady decline multiple of my peers have received food poisoning from poorly prepared chipotle meals. our community deserves better than chewy meet, stingy service and worrying about the safety of their burrito. read more

Went chipotle this evening before closing they told me right away that they were out of both steaks and only had about 1 1/2 serving of chicken so I proceeded to ask will I get double charged for the meet. they said yes. In my personal opinion I think it is rude and disrespectful to try to charge me extra for the amount of meat that I am receiving. Especially for the fact that they were out of every other meat. I just picked through a burrito bowl and my skin is crawling. I bit into something that I thought was plastic, I think it was some kind of bone in the meat. There were a few weird greens (stems) that didn't seem to belong in there, spit out about 10 steak chunks that were pure fat- and now my mouth has a weird menthol feeling after finishing it. The guy was a newer employee so I'll give him some slack but what upset me is that none of the other two employees were helping him. And my burrito disassembled itself in my hands afterwards. Would love to give 0 stars. My wife and I stopped in for lunch at about 3pm. Not a single customer besides us, and all 5 of the employees working continued to mess around and ignore us. As if the "we will be right with you" and then having us stand there for 10 minutes unattended to in an empty store was sufficient service. Good help must be impossible to find here. read more

I ordered from the app, picked up my food, and drove home only to find that my wife's order was completely wrong. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. Here's the BIG PROBLEM - I attempted to call the Woodstock store directly and the phone rang and rang and rang. Eventually, I was directed to an automated service and then spoke to somebody in India! I kid you not! Chipotle's idea of fixing my problem was to have me speak to somebody in India! I was on the phone almost 30 minutes and decided I'd just drive back to the store to fix the order. I get there and 3 employees are just standing around doing nothing. I asked why nobody answered the phone as I called repeatedly. The answer I received was that employees aren't allowed to leave their station, and that means nobody is going to answer the phone, ever! Are you kidding? Chipotle's customer service could not possibly be more screwed up. A complete failure! I'm done, never again going back. Take my advice Chipotle, allow your store staff to answer a ringing phone and get rid of the guy in India. read more

My dear friend Ava K. had ordered her chipotle bowl and expected it to arrive when it was said to on the app she currently has downloaded to her iPhone XR. She was unpleased when the clock had slowly passed past the time it was said to be arriving. Her stomach was rumbling to the point she could barely walk to the door when a young man had brought it to her door. Not only was it late, it had extra cow meat (steak) on it which was not appealing to her, she ordered extra cheese which was not provided with her meal. And on top of that, it was cold as the Colorado ice capped mountainous regions. I do not believe that by this outrageous disaster she will be ordering from your food chain in her bright future. I feel you need to think more of your customers while delivering and be more respectful.
