We got the guacamole to start, and it may be the best guacamole I've ever had - certainly near the top -- fresh and bright. Then I got the enchiladas with mole sauce. The mole was intense and rich, with incredible depth of flavor. There was rice and beans, too, which were good, but I didn't really pay attention to them - the mole was the star. My friend got the Chiles Rellenos and said that they were excellent, and was also thrilled that they had Coke in bottles (the unsweetened iced tea was good for me).

Probably 100 options ... and you can add what you want into any Margaritas and of course the best way straight up! For our main dishes - Shrimp fajitas- an excellent choice fresh just right veggies with a nice portion of perfectly cooked shrimp. Complete with warmed flour tortillas, Spanish rice and refried beans. I was very happy with the selections and it's a healthy portion to top it off. My wife had the vegetarian burrito. It's a stuff burrito- packed w veggies she's really enjoyed this. Now I have to say... you gotta come try Mixteca out. It's located next to a house if you can believe it. The people living in it have to be smelling things all the time. As for this, it's probably been here quite awhile. There wasn't anyone else eating here, which is worrying. It's about $13 for a margarita. Pretty big, and it tasted like it was fresh and not premixed. It's about $10 for the Guacamole. This is basically one of the few vegetarian options. Comes with chips. The entrees are pretty meaty with things like tortas. Really not sure why it says there's many vegetarian options. There aren't, as the beans have so much lard they're almost off white. One bad thing about the food. The pretty high prices is another, but the food is still better than Taco Bell puke. The salsa is spicy, it is a sauce full of seeds versus salsa I am used to with tomatoes, onions, etc. Overall I rate these pretty high in flavor and being satisfying. My first time I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. The fajitas were very good; they really give you a lot of steak and shrimp. I like the meal a lot and would order it again. The next visit I got the enchiladas and they were great; I also had a steak taco and it was killer. Next time, I may go for tacos and nothing else as they were awesome. My server, Javier, was young, polite, industrious, attentive, and helpful.

The salsa verde accompanying it was perfect on the tacos. Service was very pleasant and the prices are great for the large portions you receive.

I wasn't crazy about it but it is more my personal taste with corn tortillas. This happened to be a solid dish and I would recommend checking them out.
