The security was locked in this night- Huge security staff and everyone could see them enforcing policies. The bottle service was great. Expensive, of course, but you know you're paying for that. Our server was so kind and accommodating. The busser was incredibly attentive. We got a bottle of rosé and a few cocktails. The cocktails were delicious and quite unique. Lon the Don was my favorite. The live music was incredible! A lot of talent and a wide variety of songs. The energy was electric. The DJ between live sets was great too, he really kept the hype going. My only complaint is that as the club filled up and the rest of the tables filled we kind of got squeezed out. Our seating for 3 squeezed down to seating for 2 so we had to rotate a bit. Now let me tell you about our server. Our server was Ashley. I swear she is the prettiest girl I have ever seen. What a vision! Anyway, I am sure she is used to men throwing money and jewels at her so getting a table of 3 ladies who none of us drink the same thing, and we are obviously too old to be clubbing, was not on her wishlist for the night. The music was jammin, go go boys were great, and it had a fun atmosphere. I had a conversation with a local who explained the layout of the full nightclub and the different sections. The DJ was Timmy Trumpet so most of the set were more EDM type which was no longer our style but still fun. Everything went smoothly with getting on guest list with the promoter until we got in line to get in. One of my friends was discriminated against for "looking too young" in her ID and got pulled aside. She had a real ID, but was questioned because the photo was from a few years ago and she had grown up since then. He called over a manager and he stated that if she could show us photos of her growing up??? or a passport photo, he would let us in. They also made it an issue that her first name on the guest list (chosen name) was different than her ID (the name she immigrated here with). After some issues with finding her passport, the manager lost his temper waiting for us and snapped after only a minute or so. Telling us that if we were being difficult and "making it harder for ourselves," we are all not getting in and walked away. She ended up finding a photo of her passport only a few seconds later, but when we approached him again, he repeated that we were difficult and that he already told us we weren't getting in. I don't understand how a real ID could be deemed as fake, and if we knew it was a fake ID, we would definitely not try to get in. While waiting nearby, another two girls approached us, saying they were also not able to get in because they got pulled aside for being too intoxicated (which I could tell they were not). They shared the same feelings of being discriminated against and disrespected. This seems to be a common occurrence looking at the other reviews :/. They treated us with such disrespect and had no patience with us. We went to other clubs the whole weekend and had no issues getting into any of the others. So disappointed in Hakkasan and MGM. Definitely will NOT be coming back.
