Electric Mushroom is hands-down the coolest new spot in downtown Las Vegas. There has not been a spot anything like this in downtown ever. They offer a great venue with delicious food, great music, great service and all around wonderful vibes! The ambiance is epic, cool , playful, and super detailed without feeling overwhelming. Every corner was photo-worthy, very unique and fun atmosphere!!! The service was great, very attentive and welcoming staff and the bartenders are great and happy to serve! We have met the owners of this unique place and they are very cool, friendly and passionate about their business. This place offers delicious, creative, and strong drinks, and gourmet food with bold flavors and generous portions. The food was not your ordinary bar food. Definitely gourmet. We have tried: the overstuffed burger - delicious, chicken and waffles- fresh and perfectly fried chicken, French toast- big portion and very filling. Every menu item that we had was definitely prepared fresh and elevated with bold flavors and creative pairings that actually worked. Portions were surprisingly generous too. We definitely didn't leave hungry, and even took home leftovers. The drinks were just as impressive. Delicious, creative, and super strong. They aren't messing around at the bar and every cocktail matched the vibe perfectly. Overall: Electric Mushroom manages to feel very authentic and unique place, and totally different from anything else in town. It offers cool and fun vibes . We had an amazing experience and we highly recommend it!!!

The vegetarian mushroom melt. (Can also be made vegan.)

Welcome to the neighborhood, Electric Mushroom! What used to be "Therapy" has now become a new, hip spot. The decor is mushroom themed, and very "electric." It's both a bar (at night) and a restaurant (during the day). If you're familiar with the old layout of Therapy, you'll see that not much has changed. My friend and I stopped in after we came from a swim just to see what it was about. We ended up ordering food and drinks. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see that there were several vegetarian & vegan options on the menu. I ordered a [mushroom] Melt, and it was delicious. A little pricey, though, at $18 a pop. They also hit the 2 of us with a 5% "venue fee" added to our bill. Kind of strange to charge people for patronizing your establishment. And it wasn't mentioned before, during, or after our meal. Very strange indeed. Overall, the food was good, but not quite worth the price tag. The portions could have been bigger for the cost. The service was good (we sat at the bar), and our bartender was friendly. It's just that pesky "venue fee" that's really left a bad taste in my mouth. I probably won't be back because of it. The food & drinks are expensive enough without an extra unexplained fee being tacked on.

I really wanted to like Electric Mushroom. The first time I went, we had fun dancing and it was a good time but the second time I realized some pretty big flaws. The decor and name suggest that the venue is electronic music but it's more hip hop. The security is too aggressive. The crowd is young and several people got kicked out but the security was being aggressive towards people in my group who were not doing anything wrong. They got yelled at for throwing a plastic cup in the trash. Then we saw another security guard having to be held back from fighting a patron he just kicked out. There are two bathrooms for the entire bar crowd of both men and women. I'm not sure how that's legal. It's takes like 20 min to use the bathroom. There's one bathroom upstairs but they don't let anyone use it unless the upstairs is open but it's not open very much and it's not clear that there's another bathroom upstairs there. They give you business card sized coupons outside and don't honor them for what it says on the card. The 2 for 1 card they gave, they made me get the same drink for both drinks but it doesn't say that on the card. They gave "free drink" cards but once you get in, you can't use it unless you switch it out for another card. It seems very bait and switch with their marketing cards. Once you get inside, they make up rules for why you can't use the coupon cards they gave you which makes it kinda stressful for no reason.

I love the vibe of the restaurant is so fun and funky. I love all the mushroom decor. Abby was an amazing bartender. The food was really good we had the Caesar, chicken tenders, and the smash burger. Everything was great. My favorite drink was the spicy margarita!

Angelina, Mariah and Trey are absolutely amazing! The chef Keith and Brad made us feel at home. They treated us like family. Food is ridiculous and the service was even better. We will be making this our new go to spot.

Newest Hot Spot in Downtown Las Vegas. There has not been a spot anything like this downtown ever. Great Service with Happy New Employees. This is a great new spot to swing bye, grand some drinks and enjoy some EDM. Can't wait to see what special events will be coming here soon.

Electric Mushroom is hands-down the coolest new spot in Vegas. We came in during their sneak peek preview and it already felt like a fully polished experience. Our server somehow knew the entire menu inside and out, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made the whole night feel effortless. The food? Unreal. Every dish was offered either simple or "elevated" with bold flavors. You can tell a ton of thought went into curating the menu, and it paid off. We didn't have a single bite we didn't love. But honestly, the space itself might be the star. The ambiance is epic, trippy, playful, and super detailed without feeling overwhelming. Every corner was photo-worthy, including the bathrooms, which were... somehow also part of the vibe? It all felt cohesive and cool without trying too hard. Electric Mushroom manages to feel fresh, fun, and totally different from anything else in town. Can't wait to come back.

Phenomenal service from Bea! Highly recommend requesting her! On a busy night, she delivered drinks super fast with infectious energy and gave me and my friends awesome recommendations. Bea made our night and I'll definitely be back to Electric Mushroom next time i'm hitting downtown

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. This was…read moreright up our alley because it fell on a Saturday this year (lucky for us, because my LTP is currently busy with school and work during the week). The last time our anniversary fell on a Saturday, it was in 2020 and we literally couldn't do anything due to COVID restrictions, so this one was extra special for us. We marked seven years of dating on 7/18/26! I had a pretty good childhood, back when there was no such thing as smartphones, VR, and AI, and Play Playground allowed us to play like a kid again. This is a family friendly place during the day, but they implement it to 21+ only after 7:00pm and 13+ only after 6:00pm when accompanied by an adult. Make sure to sign the waiver online and forward it to everyone in your party before arriving here to save time. You'll get plenty of playtime here; the entire thing lasts about 90 minutes, which includes Duck Duck Boom across from the main entrance. Once you enter, you check in and they will give you a lanyard that you can hook your play card on, which is extremely convenient. You will also be assigned a random name (I was "Neutral Guava and my LTP was "Pleased Hare") so that they appear on the scoreboard for each game. All games are worth 15 credits and many of them mirrored games we played when we were kids, such as Frolic (Simon Says), Perfect Popper (Perfection), and Rolla Derby (Skee Ball). Tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, and Jenga can be found at numerous tables as well. The Bullseye Bounce was one of my favorite games to play here, where I got to jump on a trampoline in a Velcroed suit and throw myself as high as possible onto a Velcroed target in three tries. There's also a bounce house maze in the very back, which was also fun to experience since I've been inside several bounce houses at birthday parties and other events when I was younger. Their cocktails are absolutely amazing, too. I got myself a Pop Rock Punch cocktail and my LTP got himself a Duck Duck Boom cocktail. The Pop Rock Punch came with a pack of Blue Raspberry pop rocks that I could add in myself (I did not choose this flavor specifically; it was selected at random). We got both of these in a 12oz cup. Being a Las Vegas resident of 25 years, I think this was the most fun I've ever had on The Strip thus far. Play Playground is a great place for any occasion.
