Came here on a week days. Wasn't super busy but service was great and our waitress was attentive. I also did get the passion fruit frozen. It was really good. I love my food! I got the pineapple with chicken and veggie with side of refried beans. So good. The wings were good as well. The place was clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Wow! I ordered chips & queso and the burrito Azul from Chiquitos. The burrito Azul is delicious and a must try. It comes with steak, shrimp, rice, sour cream, and guacamole (I ordered no guacamole). It is a 10 out of 10! Aside from the burrito, the chips are clearly made in house, are crisp and crunchy, and go great with their salsa. The only item I would not order again is the queso. The taste was not bad, but the texture was off. Overall, I had a great experience eating Chiquitos and I will definitely be back! read more

This sets the standard for other Mexican Restaurants from the way it's set up with the new drink system behind the bar and also the delicious food being cooked and served from the kitchen. The bartender and the chefs and the host all work together like a real team. The ambience is this place is it. There are 2 nice large TV's available for viewing. One shows the games the other shows current music videos that are great! This is Mexican with a Latin Flair. The dishes are a little bit different than the typical Conyers Mexican restaurant. Try it with an open mind. You won't be sorry. First, the chips are clearly house-made and were freshly fried. Ours arrived still warm. Chips were crisp, with delicate air bubbles. The salsa is a smooth sauce with just enough kick to keep you eating. Perfect pairing to the chips. Entire was that Alambre with grilled steak. Absolutely delicious. What you get is a plate of steak stripes with grilled chopped yellow and green peppers, onions and mushrooms with bits of bacon and covered with melted cheese. It's smoky deliciousness with every bite. The black beans are served boracho style in a bowl with a spoon, topped with red onion, tomato and cilantro. OMG so good! The rice is really tasty as well. Wait staff are friendly and efficient. One improvement that would pay for itself in one day is to add a drink menu. A full bar is available and wow, can they mix up a margarita! Instead of Texas Margarita standby, our server suggested a flavor- made in a Mango Margarita. OMG. Wish I had gotten a big one! Give this place a try!!! read more

First time at this restaurant and since I like karaoke, I decided to try Friday night. Big mistake. The DJ ignored my song request, even with a light crowd. It was literally a small crowd and after 30 minutes, I was still waiting. I told the server and she said he doesn't even take her requests unless she tips. What kind of operation is that? The requests system was kind of a nightmare too. I do karaoke a lot and can tell you that real, experienced karaoke DJ's use KARAFUN. It's easy to use, it has a broad catalog, it sounds better and it starts the songs in the original key, with the ability to change. You can also easily change the tempo. Since karaoke is very popular with guests, karafun is the best platform to use in my opinion. It has a simpler interface and the song ques are available so guests can see where they are on the list. If you're paying a DJ to do karaoke, they need to have a high quality system. Otherwise, you're not getting a return on your investment. I told the manager who apologized and said she'll bring it up to the owner. But honestly, they need to cut their losses. They're wasting their money on this DJ. He was horrible! On a positive note: The food was decent, the service from our server was excellent, and the restaurant has ample parking. But the karaoke experience alone is enough to ensure I won't be returning. read more

This was my second time eating here. The first time visit was on Aug. 8th. We found it on google while trying to wait for our power to come back on after a storm knocked it out for two days. The outside of the building is very colorful. The inside is large and a little dark from so much wood. The booths are pretty comfortable. We had the "Mar Y Tierra" Ribeye & Grilled Shrimp with Mexican rice instead of white rice. It was very good. We had a great waitress. She was a straight shooter which made me trust her recommendations. This visit on Sept 9, we had the Garlic Shrimp with white rice & the Texas Style Fajitas. There's so much food for the fajitas. I had to eliminate the mixed vegetables that come with the garlic shrimp due to severe allergies. But after eating the chips and guacamole, I still ended up taking my food home. The chunky guacamole is delicious. However, I did like the chunky guacamole I had during the first visit much better. It had a stronger lime taste that day, it was looser, and we received a larger portion. As for our waiter, he never told us his name, but we were in the section to the left of the door. We took a minute to decide on our meals. He seemed kind of annoyed the last time we asked for more time. The restaurant wasn't full so that surprised me. I wore a mask because of health issues so it can be hard to hear me at first, but I don't mind repeating myself. However, when repeating questions to him that he didn't understand it just seemed to frustrate him. I chocked it up to him having a bad day and didn't let him ruin mine. Because he seemed annoyed when I asked what vegetables were in the mixed vegetables, I tried to calm his annoyance by explaining I have to ask because I have severe allergies. I'm sure the restaurant doesn't want me whipping out my epinephrine pin during dinner service. Hopefully, that taught him to not be so quickly annoyed. And hopefully the tip helped him become more patient and personable for his next table. read more

Went on a Friday night around 7:30pm. It felt like a family reunion party. There was dancing and karaoke. Service was a bit slow, but I chalk that up to it being crowded. The food is cool (I'm from California so my standards are high). Guacamole and salsa were very good. The atmosphere really made our experience fun. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because their Texas on the rocks and mango margaritas were good. Our waitress missed her calling, because it definitely wasn't serving people. We planned to have drinks, appetizers, and an entree but left after appetizers. The smooth guacamole was more like avocado cream and void of flavor. Same with the cheese dip. Supposedly awarded best restaurant in the county in 2023. Not at all what I'm seeing or experienced. First off the greeter never verbally acknowledges me when I walk in. When prompted for information, she turned her head to the right and in another language, ask someone else to to help me. I was able to place the order with another young lady and then proceeded to the bar to hopefully have a margarita and wait it out. Sat there for about five minutes and never acknowledged at the bar either. When I mentioned it to the lady that took my order all of a sudden the bartender shows up super friendly and now wants to know what I want. Credit to the manager who did try to come in ask if she could do anything to assist. Now I get home and my order is not correct. Shame on me for not checking it before I left but at that point I just wanted to get home. PS. Tamale went in the trash and son is cooking up some beef so I can eat. read more

Not sure why their overall rating isn't higher unless those who have had an excellent experience don't bother rating it. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. the restaurant is disgusting and the food is awful. we saw multiple roaches as we ate and when we brought it to the mangers attention they dismissed us. our server told us the roaches are a regular occurrence and ownership refuses to anything about it. we also spoke to the owner, Reuben, about our experience and he was extremely rude and disrespectful. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant or experienced with ownership. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!! This place is terrible. Me and my husband went on a Friday because they were promoting karaoke. We arrived at 7:00 pm. the manager came and took our drink order. I ordered strawberry margarita and my husband ordered a beer. When she brought the margarita back it was watery and running down the sides of the glass. I asked if I can get some napkins, she said they didn't have any (red flag). To make matters worse our server never came to the table, but served other guest that came in after us. We asked for the manager to come back out. She said your server hasn't been over , we said no. She then stated WELL I was only helping him. I said, WELL who can take our order she said she didn't know. We left and will never return. This place will not be here long. I give them 0 stars. Everything is terrible. read more

Decided to check out this fairly New Mexican restaurant in my area. Came in and seated instantly. Ordered drink and appetizer. They have been open for months and don't have a drink menu. Margarita tasted like it had no alcohol and full of sugar. Chips seemed old. The bartender was my server and she never came back to take my order. I had to ask the hostess and another worker to tell her to come to my table. When she finally came I asked for my check since it took so long. I didn't complain about the food, drink, or service. Paid for my meal with cash. Left the money on the table and walked out. The bartender and another server came running outside behind me saying I didn't pay. I told them both if they check the table they would see it. I went back in to speak to a manager to let her know of the service and the accusations. All she did was say "sorry". I will never come back to this establishment. read more
