I have had severe muscles spasm in my neck and migraines due to multiple head injuries from an accident. I wasn't able to sleep for 10 days with constant sleep interruption. While living in Japan, I had been successfully treated with acupuncture with incredible Doctors for relief without medication. I wasn't as fortunate here in the States until I found Dr. Kang. She is incredible. I wasn't able to sleep having neck spasms every half hour on the hour. Dr. Kang treatment was phenomenal. I was pain free and active. Chronic pain is debilitating and depressing. Dr. Gavin reviewed my x-rays, asked numerous questions and then gave me an exam. Then he surprised me with, "did they tell you that you also have a protruding L5, which is likely contributing to much of your pain?" Wow! No they hadn't, but in later appointments my PT said he was correct. The bottom line is, I needed help walking in and was in great pain, but walked out on my own nearly pain free. Since that time I have had a couple follow-ups and am now nearly pain free. Thank you to my friends for recommending him and to Dr. Gavin for helping me. By the way. I cannot compare how well I did because this is my first broken bone and surgery but I progressed within a month to a point that I could walk with a cane. The surgeon also mentioned that the therapist did an excellent job and he was impressed that I was in such a good shape. I attribute this success to Marc and Noa who apparently, knew very well what they were doing. I can now hike and play tennis, feels good to be free again...

Even…read morethough I made payments instructed by Johnscreek Physical Therapy on the date of each visit, I received the bill of $585- over three months after my initial visit. I was looking for physical therapy near my house and came across Johnscreek Physical Therapy. I was really impressed by the google reviews! When I was booking the first visit with Sarah, she assured me that she knows a lot about my insurance as she said you had many patients with Kaiser insurance. I made two appointments but decided to wait on the third appointment until she checks my insurance for the benefits because I wanted to avoid a billing issue as the one I have right now. Sarah left me the following voice mail on my phones after my second visit stating, 'Hi, this is Sarah calling from Johnscreek Physical Therapy. I just want to let you know that I got in touch with Kaiser and they gave me your benefit information. $40 co-pay, 60 visits per year which I'm showing none are used. So with that being said I will take what you have been paid and apply to your co-pay. If there's a balance left over it, will be refunded.' So I started my treatment with Johnscreek Physical Therapy but my condition did not get better. I decided to go to a different practice but I still thought very highly of them as everyone was nice and professional. On 9.7.21- Received the invoice of $585 On 9.10.21- My husband and I both took time off from work and stopped by the office. We played the above VM to the office staff. He said he will have his billing person look into my account and have her get back to me. On 9.23.21- A lady name Holly left me a VM and asked if I have I gotten in touch with Kaiser and find why they are not paying Johnscreek Physical Therapy??? I called her back at 12:12PM but didn't get a hold of her. So I left the detailed message on their website. I am not sure why I should be responsible for all of the bill as I would not have visited knowing that my insurance does not cover my visits. I understand that things can happen but I'm not sure why it took so long to find out. If I would have known, I would've stop coming here after my second visit, as I initially planned. I went from getting migraines at least once every other week to getting them maybe once a year (then I know I need to get in to be adjusted). I did the original treatment plan that did require multiple visits to get me to a place of just needing maintenance and it was worth every visit. He identified my body type first, then customized his treatments accordingly and gave me advice about foods I should eat and foods I should avoid, based on my specific body type. The technique is painless (honestly!) and quick (15 minutes at most), and Dr. Jee has a respectful and attentive bedside manner. He is very kind about answering any questions you may have (I had a lot). Also, he takes it upon himself to deal with the insurance side of things so that you don't have to bother with any of that. He accepts Kaiser patients and the co-pay is extremely minimal. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Jee for whatever you're dealing with. He really can help.

Dr. Jee seems to be a very nice person who clearly believes in his work…read more I visited him because I had a herniated L5/S1 disc in my back pushing on my sciatic nerve and causing all sorts of radiating pain. I was hopeful when first visiting him that he would help my pain. My insurance accepted his treatments which made it a low cost option. Unfortunately, after four treatments, I experienced no pain reduction, Potentially even a slight increase in pain. I think I am just a bad candidate for acupuncture. Dr. Jee told me that he had a hard time feeling my pulse and determining which body type I fell into. He tried two different body types. Maybe if I kept going he would have found the right one. But it just started to feel helpless. So I elected to have a microdiscetomy procedure to fix the underlying issues medically. If you are looking for an acupuncturist, he may be a reasonable option. But his treatments last just a few minutes compared to the normal 30-60 min procedures of a traditional acupuncturist. Has he figured out some new secret to a several thousand year old art? Or is he just trying to maximize the patients he can see and charge within his working hours? I can't answer that question. Just know it didn't help with my condition.
