When I expressed my dissatisfaction and shared pictures of the damage, the owner seemed to sympathize and sent me this message: 'No problem, I will fix things when I get back. Sometimes it can be confusing, but I have no issues replacing 3 pieces as seen. I think they did pretty good with the flooring that was and is older style. You he and forever can be tricky, but just lmk I can figure things out!' Despite this message, over a week has passed, and I still have no updates or plans on when they will follow through. To make matters worse, it became clear that their quotes don't guarantee your home will look better than before they start the job--a shocking realization. After leaving an honest review reflecting my experience, I finally got a response: 'Appreciate the 2 stars, even though we dominated and did everything perfect except 2 pieces of flooring. Have a blessed and safe day, but please ensure you're more accurate.' This response was not only unprofessional but dismissive of my concerns. This situation could have easily been resolved and my review improved with proper communication and follow-through, but the customer service was nonexistent. They advertise a 5-year parts and labor warranty, but based on this experience, it feels more like a 'tail light warranty'--good only until they're out of sight. Very disappointing. UPDATE: the owner responded with "Now 1 star!! Hahaha you know it shows you changing things right!! It's sad how you are, your the type that hide all the perfection thay was done, because someone chipped a piece of flooring in 1 piece and your demanding all new flooring!! Thanks for the love!! Good energy always!! God bless and stay safe" obviously this company isn't professional I never wanted a new floor I just wanted what was damaged fixed and was more than happy when they offered to come and fix the damaged pieces but after no follow up a week later left a bad review and he just spiraled from there. These guys only like you if you've got good things to say and do not know how to take constructive criticism. As for the warranty I would find work elsewhere, so many of these contractors pop in and out and with the treatment I've received I don't expect them to be in business in 5 years.

It's worth the read! Alternately, you can just take my word for it, stop looking, and hire C-Ville Roofs right now C-Ville Steel Roofs crew happened upon a big mess when I hired them to fix the disaster that the first contractor had left behind. The C-Ville Steel Roofs team took it all in stride and commenced to doing things the RIGHT way. My first contractor took my money, purchased materials, did a horrible job that was never completed, and just left. They just left my house half - finished and in a shambles. C-VILLE STEEL ROOFS TO THE RESCUE! Not only did they fix the mess left behind for them, but they showed up early every day, and quite often left late every night. Sometimes, I swear they didn't even take lunch, so intent were they on getting things in order... and all of THAT was before they could really start the job properly ~ as they had to re-do the job the first contractor did in order to even start the project. C-Ville Steel Roofs put on new siding, put in new windows, fixed a few old leaky windows, put on a shiny new door (and it opens, closes, and locks!) put up new porch lights (they turn on and off!!) and the crowning glory ~ the bane of my existence ~ they put up shiny new soffit and facia to go with the new siding and windows. The team was polite, professional, well groomed, considerate, and very detail oriented. They cleaned up their mess, they answered my incessant questions, they jovially went along with my constant flitting about whilst they worked saying things like "Are you going to cover that wood? Are you sure that ladder is not going to fall? How does this thing work? Are you going to be able to get that window up the stairs? Is my dog bothering you?" That last question was usually asked as the dog was absconding with one of the bottled waters they brought with them. Finally, did I mention that I named my property "Windy Hill?" It is ALWAYS windy here, always. It can be calm, and quiet in town, or a mile down the road, the moment you come up my driveway... the wind hits you. C-Ville Steel Roofs took that fully into account when putting on the siding and the window wraps. I can say this with certainty, because Every. Other. Contractor that I have had out here (there have been many) has failed when it came to adjusting for the wind. Not so for C-Ville Steel Roofs, my siding is still on my house (BONUS) My Windows do not leak ~ even in our last few monsoons, and my window wraps are still on my windows! These things are unheard of at this house. Yet, C-Ville Steel Roofs managed to figure it out, and all things are as they left them. I could NOT be happier! My final thoughts, YES, it was expensive, but pretty much in line with everyone else that I got a quote from. Sure, you can get it done more cheaply, but you WILL pay for it in the long run. I learned that the hard way. You get what you pay for, hire right the first time, you will not regret it. I will have a new roof put on the "House on Windy Hill" soon as well.. Mike Smith of the company inspected the issue proposed a fix that included a drainage system and sump pump. He also assured me that they could take care what ever issue they may find down there. His estimate was very reasonable. The work started when they said it would. WHAT A WEIGHT LIFTED FROM MY SHOULDERS. When the three man crew arrived and introduced themselves and the supervisor outlined what they would be doing and when they expected to complete the job. The supervisor, Efrain, and Salvador and Eddie gave me confidence I was in great hands. Now this is something you hardly ever hear anyone say anymore; but I have never seen three men work so hard and professionally as those three did. Efrain kept me totally abreast of the progress with before and after videos. I know I have restricted myself in the past to restaurant reviews as my wife and I are foodies. But I learned there are "artists" in other fields of work as well. Swain Co and their people are one class act as ND I would hghly recommend them for any crawl space, foundation or basement issues. You won't see them advertising on TV like other companies because they don't need to. Word of mouth by previous customer service have kept them very very busy.

From the moment I called, all the way through the process, and even after the sell/installation, the employees of Cook Heating & Air have been courteous, professional and just plain nice. Angie on the phone, Troy with the service call, Mark and Kevin with the installation - impressive, knowledgable, patient, honest...this is how a company is supposed to treat its customers. I would not hesitate to enthusiastically endorse Cook Heating & Air. Our new geothermal system is amazing thusfar - pretty much a constant 68 degrees - even when it's in the 90's outside. Perfect.
