Poor communication. Unnecessarily difficult. Unprofessional. Complete waste of time…read more A page on their website (i.e. "Location, Hours and Contact") has a link to a site for ostensibly scheduling an appointment (i.e "Contact us now to schedule your appointment"). So, I did. Except, contrary to appearances, that doesn't actually schedule an appointment. Somebody from the office called a few days later to say they didn't actually have an available appointment. If the "Schedule and Appointment" site is not actually for that purpose, then be explicit about that. I got an exam elsewhere and then gave Kessler Optical a second chance because they supposedly carry a line of frames in which I was interested. I walked into the business during their stated hours of operation, only to be told they don't accept walk-ins. If that's their policy, then they should state that on their website. I should add that the woman at the front desk was unapologetic about any of this and unnecessarily difficult. If a business repeatedly fails to communicate clearly and inconveniences a customer as a result, then the business should acknowledge that and, ideally, try to make amends. Kessler Optical did none of that. I had limited time and needed to place an order for new glasses quickly before traveling for the holidays. Kessler Optical was a waste of precious time.

I can't find much of anything to complain about. A great experience all-around!…read more First, the whole process was easy. After the initial paperwork, I was immediately taken in for eye tests and then promptly seen by the doctor (Dr. Ronald Suarez, OD - who was absolutely awesome!). Out of all my years of annual eye exams, this exam was definitely the most efficient; quick yet thorough. They did not have the brand of contact I have been using for years in my new prescription's strength, so Dr. Suarez gave me a trial of a new brand to try. The new brand he gave was still slightly off on the exact prescription, so he gave me a sample pair in the strength closest to my prescription, and will give me a new sample pair after the ones for my prescription come in. (Long story short, he basically gave me two pairs of contacts to try for free with the exam). I usually take the prescription from my eye exam and buy my contacts online. However, All About Eyes had about the same price for contacts as the cheapest place I could find online (and without all the hassles of coupons and mail-in rebates). So I simply bought my contacts in-store. Plus, with the sample contact lenses they gave me, it allows me to try the new brand of contacts before opening the actual box of contacts I purchased (free exchanges for unopened boxes of contacts; no questions asked). I was then seen by Tallie W., who handled all the insurance info. She was also very courteous and helpful. Dr. Ronald Suarez and Tallie W. were great from start to finish. Overall, I was really impressed with this place. I will definitely be coming back to All About Eyes for my next annual eye exam and to order contacts.

I was given the choice to pick another frame from the store inventory(not designer frames)..This I did but I'm not happy with them. I wouldn't take my dog here! I went here for an Illinois license exam in September of 2025. They…read morehad previously told me they had the state form for this. Got the exam and took the form they provided. The license branch wouldn't take the form because it was an outdated form. I contacted all about eyes and the manager told me she had just downloaded it from the states site(Lie). I went to the states site that day and it was not the old form. I sent them the correct form and the dr filled it out and they sent it to me in the mail. Fast forward to March 2026 and I get a letter from the state saying that the form was not dated within the 6 month period of my exam date. I got the exam two weeks prior to my license renewal. After checking it out, the form was dated from my previous exam in march of 2025. When I asked to get it corrected, they said they couldn't because if they did they would have to charge me for the additional exam. I told them I would be glad to pay if they would just put the correct exam date on the form. They had the doctor put a line with an arrow to the bottom of the page with a note that said re-tested in September of 2025. The state still wouldn't accept the form. I asked again and was denied! I talked to the area manager in Bloomington and they still refused to fix the form. Now I am facing the fact that I may lose my license because this company will not do the right thing! Their medical director said that I needed to have my eye health checked before they would consider changing the form. I informed them that I had seen a retinal specialist and a cornea specialist in the last few months and my eye health was good! Avoid this place at all costs!
