I would highly recommend Dr Zand. He has been my primary care physician for several years. He is…read morevery patient and will explain medical issues (even draws pictures) in a way to ensure his patients understand. I also brought my mother down from Northern California due to her Alzheimer's s in order to see him. Due to the Alzheimer's disease my mother was paranoid, scared, agitated and did not want to go to the doctors. Dr Zand was amazing with her. He was so compassionate. I had no idea how that doctor's visit was going to go (because of the Alzheimer's my normally very well-behaved mother had been making terrible scenes at her previous doctor). Dr Zand began by just talking to her about things she used to do as a teenager, sports she liked to do, Seattle (where she grew up) and completely put her at ease. This was so different then the other doctors who immediately gave her the Mini-Mental State exam, which scared her (at some level she understood her cognitive decline and didn't want a test to prove it). Dr Zand understood this and was able to thoroughly assess her while keeping her calm. Once again I would highly recommend Dr Zand and his staff. The staff is very professional and well organized to help navigate any recommended referrals.

Been getting the same prescription for half a year but I always have to the one to follow up on the prescription prior auths, rather than the other way around. Even after months of getting the same medication and with the same insurance, they still submit my prior authorization to the wrong place and cause me to have to wait for weeks with no update and no medication. I had to call my insurance myself on multiple instances and they were the ones to tell me the wrong forms we submitted. No accountability from the office or their staff, nor an apology.

I don't have any complaints about the care that Dr. Hryniewicki provides, but his office is run as…read morean uncaring money machine with zero care for a patient's well-being. They care about only one thing: profit. The office decided to switch their affiliation to a medical group not covered by my insurance. They were switching from one of the largest most respected medical groups in the area to one that is lesser known and more exclusive (I guess they only want patients with deeper pockets). That's their prerogative, but what really bothers me is that they duped me into staying with them to the last possible second until they could milk as much money as possible from me, and then left me high and dry when I really needed them. After checking with my insurance, I was told by Lynn in their office that I would still be covered after the switch. Then, about one week before the switch, I was in a car accident and suffering from a severe concussion, barely able to concentrate on the most basic information. I needed my doctor. But when I called, there was no recognition of the urgency, they said they couldn't get me in for another few weeks, and oh by the way, at that point we will have moved out of your insurance coverage, so we can't make you an appointment or help you in any way. You'll need to go find a new doctor. The complete opposite of what I had been told! And all of this was relayed to me in the most uncaring way possible, as if I was a nuisance to them. Fast-forward four months, I have by this time found a doctor's office that actually cares about me, and I start getting daily harassing phone calls from Dr. H's office about an appointment I supposedly have and "since you changed your insurance" we need to talk to you. Of course, I didn't change my insurance, they changed affiliations. And if I had an appointment, it should have been canceled months ago when this issue first came up. Never have they cared so much about speaking with me than when I was taking up an appointment space that they wanted to offer to someone who could make them more money. I guess if you have coverage for their office, feel free to go, but just beware. Someday you might find that you're not worth enough to them, and they treat you like garbage as they kick you to the curb.
