Really cute store where I found my favorite coffee mugs. I had to go back to get another one when visiting. The mugs by Lisa (owner's sister) are wonderful. Lots of cute stuff inside and great art upstairs featuring local artists. Definitely a place to visit when traveling through or staying in town. It's also nice to support a local small business.

Beautiful local pottery - honey pots and soap dishes

My mom and her sisters (The Ernst's) always shop at Chocolate Soup. Just a perfect little piece of Mariposa. You must stop for a visit and see the locally, hand-made items!

This is an adorable store! My mother and I stopped here on our way back home to Nevada. As it turned out it was the first day of their Christmas inventory. We enjoyed a chocolate fountain, samples of scones and hot chocolate, met a local writer, and of course had fun poking around "the cabin", the potting shed, and main store. You can get all kinds of goodies - ornaments, knick knacks, table runners, dips, kitchen utensils, toys, etc. We were here over an hour poking around. It was very nice. There's a nearby public bathroom if the need arises. (Just a 30 second walk up a small hill). Make this a stop on your itinerary for unique, vintage, or fun items you can't find just anywhere. (Fun fact: my mother bought an ornament that we saw later that day in Jackson and it was $5 less at Chocolate Soup - so great deals too!)

The owner and staff are wonderful. Chocolate Soup carries items that aren't found in chain stores and the items are always seasonal.

Quite a peculiar store I stumbled upon in Mariposa, in the midst of CA-140 highway…read more Bling N Things is located next to historic John Trabucco building, which hosts the Mariposa Marketplace dealer shops with art, hand crafts, and other treasures. Bling N Things is in a two story old wooden building that used to be the 49er Club, where local folks could have an old fashion dinner and dance. It was Randy's 49er Pub, the oldest bar in town, where bikers are welcome, "Where good friends meet and smoking is allowed", that's how old it was. So country rock, shuffleboard, pool & darts were replaced by a unique boutique called Bling N Things. It has a little bit of everything. I saw some furniture in old Victorian style and a bed showcasing the linens and country quilts, throws, framed prints, paintings and other home decor. I saw collectibles and clothes, a collection of eclectic items, home and garden products, gifts, funny printed t-shirts, good for the laughs and memories, and finally, candies and truffles for sale, such as Oopsy Daisy - Coconut Salted Caramels, Darth Vegan - Black Coffee, Godfather with Rum, Blame Canada Dark Chocolate/Maple, Cowgirl - Salted Caramel, etc. If you have time, do check it out, you never know what kind of treasure you can find here. Worse case scenario, you'll leave with some candy and fun memories to keep that are yours alone.

The store has a very warm feel to it and even though the building on the outside looks old, it's more modern on the inside. Tammi was super nice and she was a pleasure to speak with.

Review: Disappointed by Incorrect Floral Arrangements and Poor Customer Service…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. My Daughter recently ordered a floral arrangement from Wildbud Floral Co for her wedding, with clear instructions and a written confirmation of the types of flowers to be used more so not to be used. Unfortunately, the arrangement she received included completely different flowers--some of which she had specifically requested not be included due to allergies and personal preference. To be specific Roses. Roses were used in almost all arrangement including boutonnière and corsage's. When my daughter reached out to address the issue, expecting at least an acknowledgment or offer to make things right, her contact, Cheyenne was unavailing and dismissive to her concerns. Despite having the original written order as proof, she refused to take responsibility and only offered $500.00 in store credit as the only form of correction. Her unwillingness to admit any mistake, even with documentation in front of her, was frustrating and unprofessional. Clearly $500.00 refunded would have gone much farther in restoring one's business name and integrity as opposed to a credit from a business that fails in customer service. Mistakes can happen--what really matters is how a business handles them. In this case, the lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly caution anyone considering this florist to look elsewhere, especially if you're planning something important and expect reliability and integrity. I'm hoping I'm allowed to download and share pictures of my daughter's day and allow you to compare what is on their website for an outdoor wedding venue and compare with the reality we had. Sincerely Jon scribner

The review isn't to tarnish their credibility. My mom just wanted me to let them know that she expected more flowers and less greenery. I do love the shop. They offer great things.
