I hired S & J Electric - Jonathan who is the owner of this establishment. He came and did the work for me, just to find out that he has done things AGAINS THE CODE/RULES. Cost of his work was $4000 - lots of money for the work that was done wrongly and putting my family at risk. At this time I have to hire people to come and correct the issues that Johnathan caused or created. I have contacted Jonathan and informed him what the inspector said that his work did not pass the inspection and that his work needs to be corrected. At first Jonathan was angry and said that he doesn't want to waste his time coming back to correct the issue, but after while he promissed that he will come and correct his mistakes - no show ups few times. This is very unfortunate as I really liked the Johnathan and his father and have hoped that I have found a good electrician that I can utilize for many projects in years to come. Ultimately, we decided to pay a little bit more and go elsewhere, for a few reasons: It's a "showroom" in the technical sense only, really. There are fixtures on display, but very little care is put in to making anything desirable. It's pretty messy. I get the feeling that it's not really the place that end customers really go too often, and is more for contractors. The guy behind the counter (whose work area contained a weird collection of Hot Wheels toy cars lined up in a row) asked us if we needed help. We told him that for now, we were just looking, and that we may need help in a bit. We looked around for about 10 minutes, (we didn't really finding anything that we liked), and he never checked on us or spoke another word to us. An older woman walked in, and went up to the counter, obviously needing some help, but the employee was having a jovial discussion with a contractor buddy, and didn't acknowledge her presence or attempt to assist her in any way. It was then that we hightailed it out of there.
