I have never had any problems with the service or anyone. Everyone I met has been kind, courteous, and professional. The office is super prompt with their responses and cleaning times are confirmed the day before. Before arrival, I get live updates on their arrival status. This is helpful because it allows me to quickly get the junk off the counter so they will not think of me as a slob! With a 5-star review, you can already assume how spotless my place is. Nothing is moved to where I can't find it. If I am home, the ladies ask me to do a walk through before packing up their things, so that shows me they care about doing a good job rather than trying to get it over. The team also brought lots of excellent cleaning supplies and was very well equipped for the job. New Covid-19 protocols are into place, and in the end, my home is cleaner than ever. I love the service provided by Merry Maids. The place always looks fantastic when I come home. They did a great job on my floors, which needed a good clean. The ladies did a wonderful job deep cleaning and were here for hours. However, one of the women began to feel unwell to the point that I was very concerned for her well being and had to call rescue. She was taken to the hospital and came back later for her car. Thankfully she was okay. Apparently she drank too many energy drinks. The situation was very awkward though. I had never met this woman and I couldn't answer any questions the EMT's were asking (luckily she was coherent). It's also very embaressing to have an ambulance/fire truck at t your home. The other cleaner didn't speak much English so she had to be picked up by another staff. I had to contact their office. It took away from my remote work and I had three kids at home with me who had to witness this. On top of the 911 situation, the job was not complete. I wanted the basement cleaned and it didn't happen. I paid hourly so I let it go and I was just glad the woman was okay. I even called to check on her the following day. The office staff was apologetic, but they didn't offer any compensation for the disruption. nor did they ask if the cleaning had been complete. I felt bad reporting it had not been complete so again, I let it go and continued to have them clean my home monthly. The monthly cleanings are different from the deep clean, which is fine. At first, the cleanings were decent but each month they began to slide. Some of the staff were very unfriendly. The left beds unmade and I would see dust in obvious areas. It literally became bare minimum. I decided to give them one more month to think things over However, in my final month, prior to me cancelling my entire family came down with a stomach bug. I had to cancel the day before, which gave around 24 hours. They do have a 48 hour cancelation policy, which I understand. But you can't control sickness. I was told I would be charged a $75 cancelation fee. I offered a doctors note, in which the office staff chuckled and stated she would let me know. She never did let me know and 3 weeks later I was charged the $75 cancelation fee. At this point, I decided to cancel the service for good. I canceled with notice via email and received both an email and text asking why I was canceling. I responded with all of my reasons and asked that someone reach back out to me to further discuss. NO Response back. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. My only reason for even hiring a company to clean was due to my father being very ill and having to care for him. This experience only added to my sadness and frustration. Unfortunately, my father passed away so I now I am doing my own cleaning. Needless to say, I do a much better job than they did. Their monthly cleanings took 2 hours, where as my weekly cleanings take 7 to 8 hours. I just wanted to give warning to anyone who plans to use this company. You're better off going with a small cleaning business.

She agreed - no problem. She then sent invoices before the month was over, always labeled PAST DUE when some of the services weren't even completed yet. Communication was horrible and we terminated our agreement - Then the unprofessionalism went to a new level. Over a month to return the key, even after the final payment she demanded had been paid. She wasn't willing to make the trip to leave our key and would only do it when she was already in the area, she said. Finally got our key back and then an email that she met the new cleaners and "had a good chat with them - Good Luck!". I mean really... This is not someone you want to work with or trust in your home or office. And I've read several of her other negative reviews and she has excuses galore. I'm sure this will be no different. You've been warned, potential customer. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
