Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value This company dose a high volume of business, and as a result they have the recourses to handle any job large or small. They are also able to handle storm damage and insurance claims with seamless professionalism. This might sound like a commercial for Choice Roofing and restoration, but they deserve the best possible review I can give them. From the beginning of my encounter with Jaden Crowley the representative that I dealt with, to the installation of my roof and gutters I was what I would call a tough customer. I have been in two branches of the US Military and owned a business for 29 years. I was present the entire day of installation of the roof, and on the next day for the gutter installation by a different crew. I wanted 6" seamless Gutters and they have a crew that handles them. The roofing crew of five men where very punctual and had a dumpster parked in the street at 7am. put tarps all around the house and went to work removing the old roof. This was not an easy roof because it is large and has a lot of angels. After removing the old roof in record breaking time they meticulously policed the entire surface removing any popped nails and bad plywood with even small defects. The company went to home Depot and got 5 more sheets of plywood ( Hi quality plywood) to make seven sheets in all that they replaced. Instead of using the cheaper felt product that the insurance company paid for they used a newer higher quality underlayment. they installed all new flashing and larger drip edge as well as generous ice and water shield on all slopes and the entire 32x24 back porch roof. The installation preparation was ( OUTSTANDING). They installed a hi quality architectural shingle, shingle roof peak vent, and all new roof pipe flashing and chimney flashing. They did not cut any corners. the cleanup was ongoing through the entire 13 hours they were here and after completion all five men policed the entire yard with big magnets to get every nail. The gutter crew was equally as punctual and meticulous dealing with some unexpected problems of running the gutters into the underground piping system to put the water out on the street. They alerted me to a area next to the house where a pipe had separated and I went to home depot to get some materials to repair it and they dug it out and fixed the problem. The crew boss was all around the house checking every connection and gutter for any defect. They replaced a section that did not meet the standard that the crew boss was happy with. Let me tell you that there is not one dent or imperfection in any gutter or downspout on this house and I did not say one word to any of the crew about anything that I thought they missed. They undersold and over delivered going above and beyond in every aspect delivering a superior product. Do not be afraid to hire this company because they will give you more than the insurance company will pay for to be sure you get a HI QUALITY JOB. SIMPLY OUTSTANDING! Jaden and Ronnie the installation coordinator both showed up to be sure I was having a good experience and check on the job. Recently my wife Pam and I met with the very friendly staff of Choice Remodeling and Restoration. Choice identified major exterior hail damage we had to our home and many of our neighboring homes as well. Our siding, roof, gutters, and trim had numerous hail dents from a major storm that struck our neighborhood roughly 10 months ago. Being that this damage happened many months prior, we had a 40-year-old home, and we hadn't filed an insurance claim, we were a bit apprehensive that our homeowner's insurance would still honor payment on any of our claims. With Steve Dietz and Danielle Arnao's guidance, we were assured we still had a strong case and we filed our hail damage claim. Choice was right! A week after we filed our claim it was approved. Not only did we receive an insurance check - it fully indemnified all of our losses! Once we had the insurance money we hired Choice to restore the exterior of our home and they got to work right away. Honestly, the only lag was the time it took for Pam and me to decide on the various materials colors to use. Anna Sterba assisted us with the many design details and was a great help when we selected from the expansive library of materials Choice had to offer. Once we picked everything out Choice started with the shingling of our roof in a few days. They removed the existing two layers of shingles and tar paper and installed a new roof in only a day! Their roofing crew was amazing and very cooperative. The next day Choice came out and began replacing the siding on our house. They sided and trimmed everything with incredible expertise and finishing detail. It took 4 days and was worth the wait. Each day Choice accommodated all of our requests above and beyond our needs. They even reconstructed part of our porch where it was dry rotted, added new wood framing around all of our windows, added a new corner porch post and hung new exterior lights we planned to put up later. Our project manager William White was always on hand for any questions we had and even helped me with a plumbing exhaust pipe in our roof the team noticed was full of rain and not draining properly. Our experience with Choice has been nothing but positive. We're amazed at the curb appeal our home has now. It looks like a brand new home now and we've received all kinds of compliments from our neighbors. Some of them are having their homes restored with Choice as well. Bucks County Police Charge Delaware Contractor In Multi-Case Fraud Scheme John D. Paoletti, owner of Choice Remodeling and Restoration, currently faces active arrest warrants and criminal charges in four separate cases involving theft and fraud. Investigators believe there may be additional victims in other jurisdictions, with confirmed losses in the reported cases exceeding $80,000. Bucks County authorities have filed additional criminal charges against a 46-year-old Delaware man accused of defrauding multiple homeowners by accepting payments for hail-damaged home repairs that were never completed. Authorities say Paoletti solicited and accepted substantial upfront payments for home improvement projects but allegedly failed to perform the work. In one Morrisville case, Paoletti received a $12,500 insurance check but did not complete repairs for nearly a year. Another Morrisville resident reported losing more than $10,700 after Paoletti failed to fix their roof. In Lower Makefield Township, a homeowner said they lost over $17,500, while a fourth Morrisville victim claims a loss of nearly $46,000. When victims requested refunds, Paoletti reportedly became unresponsive or, in some instances, allegedly conditioned reimbursement on victims not pursuing criminal charges. Charges have been filed by the Morrisville Police Department in August 2024, November 2024, and August 2025, and by the Lower Makefield Police Department in December 2024. Paoletti has known ties to Morrisville, Millsboro, Delaware, and Hockessin, Delaware. He faces multiple felony and misdemeanor counts, including home improvement fraud, deceptive business practices, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property. The cases are being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Alan J. Garabedian. Authorities are urging anyone who hired Paoletti or Choice Remodeling and Restoration, paid in advance, and did not receive services or a refund to contact police. Choice Remodeling & Restoration (CR&R) did a full replacement of my roof which was damaged by summer storm as well as replace fascia and gutters. CR&R assisted me in working with my insurance company including meeting adjustor and doing walk through which helped get claim covered. Owner/John reviewed construction agreement in detail with me comparing to claim info and explained scope of work and cost. Crew performed the work detailed in construction agreement and cleaned up the job site once complete. I did have a concern which owner/John promptly addressed. Total cost was in line with construction agreement and I was pleased with quality of work. I would recommend CR&R for roof replacements. They are honest and stand by their work. read more
