This is my go-to acupuncture spot. Although I wish they had an online booking option, I enjoy that I'm typically able to get same day appointments by calling in. The location is small but extremely convenient and the acupuncturist is always kind and thorough. I'm lowkey convinced he's a magician because I always have instant pain relief after I leave here. My last visit was for an elbow sprain, I walked in with 8/10 pain and after my 30 minute session I could already feel the relief. By the time I got home, the pain reduced by 50% and my mobility was up. I haven't tried the Chinese herbal medicine portion of the clinic but I'm very interested and will probably look into it soon. I came across this on yelp and google. I was looking for an alternatives to a holistic way for my allergies instead of taking an allergy shot. I been coming here for about 2 weeks now. After taking the herbs, my allergies have gotten much better as well as some food intakes. The receptionist is super nice. I thought they take walk ins, which I came around 3pm, to tell me to come back at 5:20pm for the next appointment. I guess I could of called first when I first came but the reviews said that they take walk ins. A week later, for my second appointment, I came at 12:30pm. They had a sign that they don't take walk ins. Both appointments for some reason had me waited about 20-30 mins after check in before seeing me. I did give her feedback about why, and she said because the doctor was doing acupuncture. I think in the future they should plan that out if it was going to take longer or not. Overall the experience was great. Doctor is super chill and nice. Taking the medicine is a breeze. I was not a strong believer of Chinese medicine because I work in healthcare. However, I am openminded. My wife started coming here because she was feeling cold most of the time, especially her hands and feet. To my surprise, after a couple of appointments, she got better. We continued to come here to see the funny personable Chinese doctor for other reasons. One reason is my wife and I were trying to have a baby. I don't know if the Chinese doctor helped or I have strong Olympic swimmers, my wife got pregnant after seeing him once following his recommendations. Came here after hearing I have prostate cancer. Looking for anything that can help my issue from Chinese herbs to over the counter vitamins and oils. I talked with the Doctor and he said he was not sure if he could help me or not, but he did prescribe me an herbal drink. He said it would give me more energy. I have to tell you the herbal drink does or seems to give me more energy. I have more physical energy as well as mental alertness. After 3 weeks of taking the herbal drink, I'll be heading back for more! The cost of the herbal medications are a lot less than the pharmaceutical medications. This is the first and last acupuncture place I ever tried and will go to, after hurting my neck because of a car accident; I was constantly getting headaches and neck pains, came to this place to get the treatment; did 3 treatments, the staff was friendly, kind and attentive but I learned acupuncture is not for me, it's painful though the staff would pull the needles that were too painful, I still think its painful and not for me. Giving this place a 5 star since their customer service and treatment in itself was good (I jsut don't like needles inside me for that long but I recommend this place if acupuncture is your thing. read more

The doctor is great. He is patient and listens to my concern. Went in for lingering cough and migraines headache. Started out with weekly take home powder meds. They make their own powder meds in house. The powder meds was probably not strong enough for my body as I've been having the lingering cough. I let the doctor know that the meds is probably not strong enough for me. Then he prescribed raw herbs for me to take home and cook it myself. Took it for seven days and I'm feeling much better. I like the raw herbs taste better than the powder ones. They are definitely more expensive but is worth it. It's easy to communicate with the doc as he listens and try to work with you. I called asking for remedy for Covid. Dr. Recommended a tea. I sent my daughter to pick up immediately. The Dr. was very nice and asked symptom related questions to make sure I was getting what I needed. He offered to bring it out curbside if I had to come myself. This review is long overdue. What doctor did for me is life changing, I've had to take allergy pill everyday for almost 20 years and once my allergy escalated to a point nothing would calm it down. That's when I thought I would try everything it takes and started seeing doctor Chang. I didn't expect much at first since I was at one point prescribed steroid from my dermatologist to just deal with the emergency rash that wouldn't go away. But long and behold after 1 month, no rashes and my original allergy symptoms got better. Another month went by, my allergy I completely gone. Finally I have found a good place for Chinese traditional medicine. I had a place for Chinese traditional medicine, but the doctor retired few years ago. I browsed Yelp, Facebook and even those groups I joined in Facebook, lots of people recommended Chong Ching Tang, so I just stop by on a Wednesday morning to see Dr. Ken Chang. I have dizziness and headache once awhile, dizziness made me nauseous and can't eat anything. Dr. Change listened to me patiently and gave me the medication and I felt much better after 2 days of medication. I stopped by again, once I finished the 6 days meditation. 2 visits and I am totally recovered now yay! The medicine are in powder, just add into hot water which is very convenience. Herbs galore! I was eating at a fish and chips nearby and saw the herbs at the windows and got curiosity to take at look and see if they had licorice root (not so easy to find except in Chinese stores, unless you are OK with tea with licorice from Whole Foods or Sprouts). I was impressed with the furniture, the person at the store said everything is imported from China, which gave me the impression of being in another locale. He showed different herbs and roots stored in Chinese porcelain jars. And yes, I got my licorice roots for just $1 a bag. Great deal, nice place. I am very healthy right now (happy me!) but if in need, i would not hesitate to also try the services of acupuncture like I have done in the past at other places. read more

Whenever or if ever I feel something is wrong with my sport injures from basketball. Dr. Chang is the man. I swear that man has helped me so Tremendously. He is the only doctor/acupuncturist I go to. He heals me every single time. I went to him and the first session helped a bit but by the second session one week later I was in no pain at all. One more advice. If you got your issues during the years of your life, don't expect to be healthy in one session. In last few weeks, I searched hard on Yelp for Chinese medicine doctors/acupuncturists in Silicon Valley for my lower back pain injury. I browsed through almost all with top rated feedback and with traditional Chinese medicine features. Then I tried at least three acupuncture clinic until I came to Dr. Chang's Chong Ching Tang. "Finally!!" I came to the right clinic that preserves both Chinese medicine and Han doctor's heritage. When I walked into the front office, the floor plan is just like any traditional clinic in Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan. Bottles of Chinese medicine stored in cabinet spreads herbal fragrance. Dr. Chang's mom said they also control their herbal ingredients at the source. It is like from growing herbs at farm, to process, all the way to packaging over the counter.
