Wow, this massage experience was 10/10. Let me break it down for you: I scheduled a 60 min Hot Stone Massage with Aroma Therapy. I am a first time visitor and can be picky with massage therapists since I have a severe sciatica issue. Typically, I prefer deep/firm/hard pressure to accomplish getting the hardest of kinks out during a session. Let me tell you now - the firm is really firm! So if you need an excellent amount of pressure, I would recommend Lily. One thing I notice whenever I get a massage (in general) is that often enough, whatever maneuver is done on the initial side, sometimes isn't evenly done when they switch to the other. Furthermore, timing is sometime shorter on the second side. I can confidently say that every move, press, shift and pressure point that was massaged on the right, was equally as steady on the left. That has been a personal pet peeve of mine but in this case, that wasn't a concern. Once the first section of the massage was completed, the hot stones were applied and the therapist was really good about ensuring temperature, pressure and usage across the skin was effortless and comfortable. It was a perfect transition from the intensity I was feeling from massage. Afterwards, a warmed bean bag was placed on the back of my neck as well as my lower back. In addition, and towards the end of the massage, there is a super amazing foot scrub that is applied which surprised me. It was just a few minutes but so relaxing. That was definitely a surprised bonus that I didn't anticipate. Overall, this was a fantastic and high quality massage experience. To ease any doubt of services bought through third party platforms; I want to be clear that I purchased this through Groupon as well. I don't mind if they touch it but it shows me she didn't read the intake form. So whats the point of having it then? Second. When I made the appointment on the phone they said we take cash. Wow! I didn't know this place existed but I wanted to have a massage in Cupertino so I purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute hot stone massage. I have to say, it's hands down one of the best massages I've had. It's located in the shopping plaza with UPS, just a few doors down. I was greeted by Daisy, who assisted me in redeeming my Groupon. A very short fort to fill out and my massage therapist was ready for me. Off I went not expecting anything memorable but Lily was so sweet and had the most genuine laugh. Lily asked what type of pressure I like and I told her medium, she said to tell her anytime I wanted less or more. I had just had an intense workout that morning so this massage was hitting all the right muscles and she worked on some kinks in my upper shoulder blades. This massage was just heaven sent. I kept thinking this has got to be one of the best massages ever. Then to wrap things up she massage my feet and the sole of my feet. That was the best massage wrap up. Just had an amazing massage with Lily. I got the 60-minute CBD massage through Groupon, and boy am I glad I did. It was probably the best massage I've ever received, just the right blend of firm and gentle. Lily listened to me when I said which areas to avoid because of injuries, etc. and she was very friendly. The room was clean and calming, same as the rest of the facility. I loved the heated blankets/massage bed, it instantly put me at peace! I also appreciated the relaxation room which has tea and snacks. And as a bonus, they accept HSA cards as payment (you can include gratuity on them too). I was really happy to see this because it's a rarity in my experience. Oh my, this was one of the best massages I've had in the Bay Area. Lily is truly amazing. She knows how to apply the perfect amount of pressure and takes time to focus on tight areas. I booked a lymphatic drainage massage. I don't think the lady knew what that is but the massage was so good I let her do her thing. She used her elbow and hot stone targeting acu-points versus gently stroking the lymphetic path. I wouldn't recommend it to ppl looking for treatment for cancer recovery, post liposuction or really need cleansing etc. I am definitely coming back though. I feel soooooo refreshed. It was very clean and modern with a relaxing vibe right from the start. We both had acupuncture appointments with John. He was amazing! He started each of our appointments with a consultation. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to understand our symptoms and explain each of our treatment plans. He used a combination of methods on each of us including sound healing, hot stone massages, cupping and the acupuncture itself. He was very professional and seemed very experienced. We both walked out feeling relaxed with a whole new view on health. We will certainly be back for acupuncture with John and would like to try their other services (like massage and facials). I made the appointment over the phone and spoke with the manager Kimberly, and she was very friendly and answered all my questions. Extremely disappointing prenatal massage-- My husband had a great experience here with Lily, so he decided to book me a prenatal massage (I'm 40 weeks pregnant). Unfortunately lily was not available so they booked with me a lady named Luna. She spoke absolutely no English, so I could barely communicate with her. When I told her I couldn't not understand her she laughed at me. It was a rude and awkward beginning to what should be a very relaxing experience. The massage wasn't even subpar. It was barely existent. She spent almost the entire hour moving her hand up and down my back with no pressure at all. Then she focused on my neck by digging her finger into the same spot over and over again. I spent the entire massage counting down the minutes until it was over and done. I was hoping I wouldn't be charged for the terrible "massage", but I was offered a 20% discount. I still think paying $112 is ridiculous. An establishment should not hire someone who clearly doesn't care about the job they are supposed to do. There is no way that lady thought what she was doing was acceptable. I left the salon in tears and a terrible way to end my pregnancy journey. I was hoping for some much needed pain relief, but all I received was a financial expense for nothing but frustration and disappointment. read more

She recommended that I booked an appointment with Jon for further treatment and I'm so glad I did. I appreciated him taking the time to explain/educate on TCM principles and holistic health. He listened attentively and it is obvious he cares about his patients. He used a variety of different methods such as massage, acupuncture, hot stones to address not only my problem areas but also treatments for holistic well being. Booked a hot stone and aromatherapy massage on Groupon. I was late which is my fault - the parking there is awful btw - and was greeted a bit rudely for being late. It's a traditional Asian establishment and that's the culture so I get it to a degree. My masseuse and the massage was great. She was standing on me at one point too which actually felt really good. She was clearly very well trained and skilled. Unfortunately there was no aromatherapy part to the massage. Upon exiting, the front desk lady asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I left something slightly lower than what they had recommended on a sign and she pointed at the sign saying that's what they recommend. I had a great 90 minute deep tissue massage with Miyah! I am 6 weeks post partum and Miyah did an excellent medium pressure massage working on my pain areas. She used hot towels for some extra heat therapy which I have never had before in other therapies and felt great. Earthy Ruby has a quaint , very pleasing and serene ambience. The complementary rose hip tea really set me up for a calming and relaxing experience before my massage. There is also a separate relaxation area where you can just sit n sip tea with the sound of water behind you. Very peaceful. Their rooms are warm and pleasing and the massage tables are temp controlled , I was 80 percent already relaxed as a lied down on a warm table! The rest of the 90 minutes were one of the most calming experiences I have had in a while. The front desk staff is very polite and helpful. Massage was incredible, but the guy who checked me out was incredibly rude. Last time I came with a Groupon he said you could only use once, but then I got an ad from Groupon that offered to try again, so I could buy a second time, so I did. I called and booked, no issue. after the massage, I go to use the Groupon and ask if I can tip on my card. He started yelling that he told me I can only buy once. I said I was sorry, but an ad was sent so I bought it again, but I assume the company knew. He said Groupon was greedy. I told him I know you can limit purchase amounts, that was up to them, he continued to rant and told me I'm just going to have to pay the difference. I told him I will not. He snatched my phone off the desk. At this point, I didn't trust this business with my credit card information, So I walked out bewildered by the whole interaction. He ran out the door after me asking me why I wasn't tipping, I said I was a little scared of him and just wanted to leave. He yelled out after me to never come back. I am a little sad because I wanted to start getting my massage twice monthly again and I thought my partner might also like the place, the massage therapist both times were amazing. We've always tipped 15% except one time when your massage lead did not follow my ask, even though I asked multiple times to not massage a certain area. I also spent close to $2000 in less than 2 months, buying single and a package at your location, as frequent customer, I always tipped. The massages were cut short multiple times and I only brought this up once at my last visit. Not to mention that when I asked for a receipt you were asking me if I wanted a fake receipt for a different service. Unsurprisingly 4 of your therapists left not because they weren't tipped but because they were treated poorly by your staff. It's funny you hid 50 cent snacks but tried to make customers like myself feel bad for voicing their massage was cut short, an overpriced massage they paid so much money for. I know this response was posted from the poorly mannered front desk staff and that the owner is in China. The owner is not a bad guy, I had a chance to meet him and was one of the reasons I returned and I posted a review here because i didn't want him to lose business over carelessly managed business by poorly educated and unprofessional front desk staff. Additionally, they had snacks in the lobby, I usually took a kind bar and a cookie, they started hiding the snacks for existing customers - I literally saw them doing it and taking them out for new customers lol. Therapists are leaving because they are not paid and mistreated, they cut the appointments time, the remaining therapists have attitude - I asked them not to massage a specific part of my body 5 times they kept telling me they need to massage there. I received a 60 minute hot stone massage with aroma therapy from my friend as a birthday gift and I was so excited to possibly find a spa I can return too as I am a long distance runner and have rather sore muscles. Unfortunately I will not be returning. The message was supposed to be 60 minutes but I definitely was not massaged for the full hour. I arrived a few minutes prior to my 5 pm appointment and the woman at the front desk was helping another customer so I patiently waited. By the time the actual massage began it was definitely after 5 and the masseuse ended it at 5:55 so I would venture to say at least 10-15 minutes of my massage was cut. I also wasn't too fond of how the masseuse was complaining/saying she had to rush my massage because it was only 60 minutes and I needed to book 90 minutes next time. However I think the worst part of this experience is the fact that what ever they used on me caused a horrific skin reaction! Red itchy spots all over my chest arms and shoulders once I got home.
