    My son and I went by on Monday to see if there was a chance to get fitted for golf clubs. It was…read morearound 2:00 when we got to the golf department. We were told that the guy who does fittings wasn't there, but if we could come back the next day he has an open schedule and could fit us then. We live about :45 mins away. We called several times the next day and no one answered. Called again no answer. We finally reached someone at 3:00 and they said the guy that does fittings was at lunch but he'd be back in :30 mins and that he'd be leaving in 3 or 4 hours. That sounded like we'd take the chance and go on down. We arrived at Dicks and the guy in the golf department said the guy that does the fittings had left for the day. I would think that on the first visit from us to the golf department to be fitted for clubs someone would have said: What's your name and number?? And maybe the same question when we called back the next day. By the way, the sales person that was there in the golf department could have totally sold us clubs if he'd said: Hey, while you're here try these clubs out! We might have just bought a set that he showed us. We were open! We left there and went to another golf store and got clubs. There they were very attentive, helpful and I'm glad we could get what we needed.

    Affordable prices and quality products…read more I am a deeply avid player and promoter of Disc Golf and all the supporting events it provides, from local charity events to National Tours. Most recently I needed to find affordable Dri-Fit Shirts for our event in Austin, Texas and came across VTSA during a simple Google Search. The link led me to their preferred pricing and low cost versus other competitors. Their access to the specific brand of shirt that I wanted was the next step in helping me choose them as a possible provider for what we needed. With the first two items chosen, I decided to get in contact with them through their "Contact Us" link and information. Some time there after, I was contacted via email and eventually once we determined pricing and specifics for the shirts I needed, we placed an order. PRO's - the order was complete - the shirts were printed as ordered - the graphics were crisp and clean - no print issues - they are willing to go above and beyond when things break down on their end CON's - the unexpected downtime from 2 of their printers which caused us to not get the order on the agreed time - the lack of phone communication; I called and left numerous voice mails before and after the order and did not get a single call back - the lack of email communication; after the order and the looming delays I sent emails and never heard back from Greg (our sales guy) - order tracking information: in this modern day, it took me to finally contact someone so I could speak and get the tracking information. *In this day and age, that is a standard Customer Service task after someone spent hundreds of dollars on a product. Simply give the customer the tracking number so we can monitor it if you are not going to update us via phone/email* MISC - catalog images, colors, and styles need to be updated on the website. It took the ability of a camera phone to get me the image of the color I wished to order and that was semi-poor quality. It depends highly on the camera/phone and the skills of the person taking the image. It conveyed what I needed to know, but desired much more. OVERALL The prices were great, the product was good, and we got what we ordered. I also need to note that when we were finally informed that the order was going to be late (past the agreed date) they did push it to a priority and expedited the shipping AND they paid for the extra expedited shipping. My feeling was that if I had not contacted them.. the priority may have been lost or forgotten and my product would have been very late. I understand that "Life Happens" in the business world, equipment breaks, deliveries are delayed and it takes workers to push their limits so that customers can get a quality product they paid for... .., I simply ask: communicate with me on this, at least tell me the order is late and there are issues. Just like you, I need to plan for "worst case" scenario; so emails and phones calls ARE IMPORTANT with the customer. I work with customers EVERYDAY so I know the importance. Because of your effort to make a bad situation better to the best of your ability, I give you 3 of 5 stars....if there had been better communication, maybe 4 of 5 stars. Overall, I wish 5 of 5 for everyone, but there are Customer Service improvements deeply needed. Thank you Varsity Team Sports for the good product and great prices, but I have found another vendor for next years Disc Golf events.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I spoke to them on several occasions and they assured me that they would have everything to me by game time ... nothing came. They still have not returned my phone calls. I would look somewhere else.

I called about specific bullets that I could not find anywhere, including the manufacturer. I was told Natchez was out of stock, but received a call the next week letting me know they had received a shipment with the bullets. I was able to order two boxes and load rounds for an upcoming hunt. Had they not called me, I would have had to develop a new load with different bullets that would have rendered my ballistic turret useless. Natchez is big enough to have a good selection and fair prices, but small enough to still offer great customer service. I check Natchez before I place an order somewhere else, I'll order from Natchez if they have what I need in stock rather than order from somewhere else, even if there is a small price difference (which is rarely the case barring a sale price) Natchez is hard to beat!

I asked if there was a reason the order was cancelled and was told there was no reason documented and was asked if I wanted to place the order again as there was a lot of reels still in stock. I told the person no thanks as I was not informed of the cancellation and have been waiting patiently for the reels to arrive, all the while missing out on the other Memorial Day deals going on in other stores. My experience with this company will not lead me to purchase anything else from them, very poor communication, very poor company in my opinion.
