Have only ordered three times from Natchez. First time was in 2021 and I needed ammo when no local businesses had it. Shipped right out and had it in 4 days. August 2026 ordered two more times, 3 weeks apart. Both times items arrived on time with no issues. This rating is only for three orders but all three were great shopping experiences. Placed an order on May 16,2026 for two Daiwa Fuego baitcasting reels, received an email indicating I would receive another email when the items were shipped, never received an email therefore eight days later I contacted them and was told the order was cancelled and the money was refunded. I asked if there was a reason the order was cancelled and was told there was no reason documented and was asked if I wanted to place the order again as there was a lot of reels still in stock. I told the person no thanks as I was not informed of the cancellation and have been waiting patiently for the reels to arrive, all the while missing out on the other Memorial Day deals going on in other stores. I have placed approaching a dozen orders with Natchez. They have a great selection, prices that are fair, and second to none service. I called about specific bullets that I could not find anywhere, including the manufacturer. I was told Natchez was out of stock, but received a call the next week letting me know they had received a shipment with the bullets. I was able to order two boxes and load rounds for an upcoming hunt. Had they not called me, I would have had to develop a new load with different bullets that would have rendered my ballistic turret useless. Natchez is big enough to have a good selection and fair prices, but small enough to still offer great customer service. I check Natchez before I place an order somewhere else, I'll order from Natchez if they have what I need in stock rather than order from somewhere else, even if there is a small price difference (which is rarely the case barring a sale price) Natchez is hard to beat! read more

I ordered 2 magazines I needed for an upcoming match. The order was supposed to be delivered in 3-5 business days and I was counting on that. Apparently you have to order before noon the first day and it takes the whole next day to process and invoice and another day to make a label and get ready to ship. On top of that they will tell you after the fact that they are 3-5 business days behind on there orders but will not put that on there website. I've ordered a lot of products from Natchez but after this and my faulty primers from my last buy I will never use them again. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Bought 500 rounds of .44 mag ammo and 35% would not fire out of two separate firearms. Tried some old .44 mag ammo I had laying around with no problems or failure to fires. Hard primer strikes on all the faulty rounds. Called Natchez and was basically told to take it up with the manufacture. They would do nothing and were not very nice about it. Contacted the BBB and then they decided they would return the bad ammo. But not before cheating me out of my shipping costs. Stay away! They billed my card then refused to ship the item I paid for.

I ordered some .224 bullets. Put it on the credit card. Received the order with the wrong bullets in the box. Called the company, guy on the line said he'd tell CS. Took two days for a woman who couldn't speak English to call and tell me I needed to send back the order and then they would send the real order. They already billed my card. Spent all day waiting for said email. I had to call again! So for three days I have been trying to resolve this issue and I apparently will be waiting until they get the wrong order back and determine if it's unharmed. Still no mention of sending the correct order! I would advise against this company. I will have to dispute with the CC apparently. read more

They have terrible customer service. I called because their site kept booting me off, so I called to see of they could fix the problem. All I got was a smart ass answer saying "They didn't hire me for my IT skills." I e-mailed them explaining the situation. I never got an answer, so I checked my account a few times to see if my problem persisted. It did. So they never fixed it and didn't care to answer my e-mail. I e-mailed them back telling them I was through dealing with them and to delete my account and to quit sending me their monthly catalog. This was my first time to order from these guys and I see these bad reviews, so I thought I would chime in. I was on the website about to order some 556 ammo that I just so happened to catch in stock, but instead of just ordering it and going back and looking, I decided to go look and see if there was anything else in stock that I needed right now, we to look at my ammo and it said it was sold out now. Which is my own fault. But alot of websites will allow you time to finish shopping. once you put it in your "cart" it takes it out of their inventory for at least 15 minutes or so, or once paid for, so that you can finish shopping. It doesn't appear these guys do that, and I couldn't find any definitive information on anything like that either. That is the only reason for the 4 stars as opposed to 5. So I decided to call, and they're extremely busy, which is completely understandable during these crazy times. I was like 29th in line, but said my hold time was less than 5 or 10 minutes, so that's not bad. They got to me pretty quickly after all, couldn't have been more than 5 minutes. I was impressed. I can't remember for sure who I got on the phone, my invoice says George, so we'll assume that's correct. He was very helpful. Told me the original boxes of 150 rds. Each were gone, but said they have some winchester 556 value packs with 200 rounds each and for not much more at all. Took as many as they would let me, which was 4 boxes. He informed me that it wouldn't ship out until the following Monday and I should have it Wednesday, which was fine, as I'm sure they're very busy, and I'm not the only one out here, so completely understandable. My order actually didn't go out until Wednesday and I just received it Friday, no problems at all. I didn't have a problem with it being a little later than I was told due to the virus and everyone buying everything they can find, I was just happy to find some! The day of the delivery found out it would not be delivered until the next day. So not only did it cost me shipping fees but over 400.00 in lost wages. I have been a NSS customer for 28 years. They have been the go to source for unique shooting supplies at a competitive price. Probably ordered an average of once a year. I did have a problem on my last order, which is the only order that I have encountered a problem. I discussed the problem with a customer service representative who passed me to a manager. The problem was in the bulk original glock magazines. They put stickers on about half of the magazines. Being from a shooting company, I assumed that they would be no residue stickers...wrong. Took me 20 minutes of work to remove residue. I was smart enough to use a heat gun on the remaining magazines...but having to spend several minutes to be able to use a brand new magazine without ruining your gun is a no go. Other shippers will have proprietary packaging for their bulk magazines. I asked for a comp to my account, but it was refused because "I had already used a 10% promotion". It was also explained the shipping process, where putting sticker on shrinkwrap, baggie, or proprietary bagging would add extra cost that they could not afford. Bottom line is that I recommend NSS for everything but bulk magazines. Unless you get a super good deal and are willing to put in the work to make magazine range ready. read more

Ammunition was ordered from Natchez and a badly re-taped damaged box arrived with bullets pouring out of the box onto the street, driveway and lawn, causing a significant safety issue for the neighborhood. The shipment was missing over 400 items. This being my first order with Natchez, I offered several options - replace the missing items, refund the money for the missing items or offer credit on a future order. Natchez wrote back and apologized for the inconvenience and stated the information has been forwarded to our customer service department and to allow them 2-3 business days to address your concern. One (1) week later, I called again and Natchez indicated they were unaware of the situation and to write to customer service, which I had already done. Natchez does not stand by their products, have quality control or assurance, know how to ship or package ammunition nor has trust-worthy customer service.
