I go to Burn Boot Camp right upstairs from Chop & Chisel. Going in has been on my to-do list for a while, and I decided today was the day I would try it out. I immediately noticed the fresh, delicious smell, the variety of options in the refrigerator, and the kind welcome I received from the staff member. She showed me a few different options, and I settled on the chicken parm. It cost about $9. I heated it up at home and it was so delicious. The portion was generous but not too much. It had great flavor, was fresh, and I will definitely try Chop & Chisel again. read more

The first two deliveries went fine. I then ordered a 5 meal pack. On delivery day I was called and told there was a delay and it would come the next day. It didn't. I emailed several times that week. I didn't care if they couldn't deliver off schedule but just wanted to know if it was coming the next week. No response. They had my business until they stole my money. read more

I have been a long time customer. When they first opened, the owners were so hands on and always in the store. The food was delicious, the portions were good, the customer service was excellent. As they grew, I noticed new staff (as expected) and I saw less of the owners. Then the pandemic hit. As the world transitioned to a new way of doing things, I expected some hiccups along the way. However, I have given them so many chances and they continue to disappoint. The food is just not as good as it used to be. There seems to be no consistency in portions. I bought a "soup" that was 99% broth. There are no more grab and go options. Everything needs to be preordered. But, my pre-orders are often incorrect. Just problem after problem. The concept is great and one that is much needed. However, the execution is lacking. I have given grace, but I think the problems extend beyond the pandemic. read more

I had the pleasure of enjoying some charcuterie at Divine Barrel Brewing located at 3701 North Davidson on a calm Saturday Evening several weekends ago. The charcuterie was so gosh darn delicious and I could have easily went for more if I was not already having my fill of delicious brews. I can see why more and more breweries (including Noda Brewing Company) are hitting up the dynamic pairing of Brian and Jamie Baird for their grab-and-go meals. Chop & Chisel meals pair with brewski's just as well as peanut butter goes with jelly, bacon with eggs, grilled cheese and tomato soup, burger and fries, salt and pepper, spaghetti and meatballs... I think you're getting the point here. Strongly suggest giving them a try and I have a firm belief that you will not be disappointed. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They charged me almost $400 for an order that I never received. That is understandable, the real problem started when I tried to contact them about the issue. I have called at least 10 times leaving 4+ messages. I have emailed multiple times no one has responded at all. The food is decent but overpriced and if you ever have a problem there is no customer service. Order from someone else. read more

We have tried several different meal services, and this one tops them all (by far). You may pay a little more, but it is worth it and the ingredients seem to be much fresher (and taste much better) than any that we have tried. They are also very accommodating with helpful staff. Great food but not enough vegetables. The veg is more like a garnish than part of the meal so be prepared to add more yourself. Pad Thai is fantastic and the General Tso is very good but I preferred the previous recipe that came with broccoli. read more

This place is a great solution if you work Uptown. They have a great variety of meals with a variety of macro mixes printed on the package. So you can get exactly what you need. Plus the price is more affordable than most Uptown options especially if you are looking for a more protein heavy option.
